Good service. Not the fastest but they paid exactly what they promised (including postage costs) without any fuss. Would use again.

Excellent company. You're informed of your order's progress all along the way - from when they receive it until when they've sent payment. They have always paid me the full amount too, unlike other co... See more

I had some bad experience before with some dodgy on-line buyers before. They either delayed payments, or claimed phones damaged during shipment, or pretended not receiving the units at all. I ha... See more

Unacceptably Slow

Before TopDollarMobile respond stating they paid the price offered and paid out within their stated timeframe, I will be the first to say they did.

They did.

However, in the time they took to process the order and make payment I submitted 5 phones to Mazuma Mobile and received payments for all 5. The whole process from creating an order to receiving payment took 7 days. Mazuma took 19 hours for each phone. In this competitive market there remains no reasonable excuse why TopDollarMobile would take a week to do what a rival can do in a day.

This suggests something else is going on behind the scenes.

If you are desperate for the extra money offered by TDM (and it isn't guaranteed nor is it always the best offer) and you are prepared to wait for a week, be my guest. If you want your transaction dealt with in 24 hours, go elsewhere.

It should also be highlighted that I printed my own postage and sent it by special delivery at 17:00 on 9th September 2013, they received the packge the next morning so they had no reason to delay the completion for a further 6 days.

Yes they did what they said they would do, but come on, a week to do what Mazuma can do in under 24 hours?

Dear Stacey

We found that you have requested for a bank transfer payment instead of a cheque payment. The Bacs payment was paid on the 3rd August 2013. Please kindly check with your bank again to confirm if the payment is made to you. If there is any problem please notify us again.

Yours sincerely

The only place that would take my oldest mobile phones which i didn't get much for but a little is better than nothing. I had a coulpe of queries about a couple of my phones so i sent an e-mail which was replied to very promptly. Fantastic place to sell your old phones, helpful and efficient. Definitely use them again

Money for old phones

I read a lot of reviews about companies offering one price and then paying far less although the phones were in good condition. I read the reviews for Top dollar Mobile and they were all good. Well I can testify that this is a trust worthy service from start to end. Very happy, would recommend them to anyone.

Smooth process from start to finish

Received a quote within 1 business day for several handsets.
Once quote was accepted I arranged delivery of the phone to Topdollarmobile where they then confirmed receipt of the delivery and within 3 business days the sale was complete. Dead easy AND they mostly provide the best price on handsets compared to the others.

Does what it says on the packet (in the email)

I used Top Dollar Mobile to recycle my Nokia N8. The screen was in excellent condition yet the case had some scratches on it. I got the price they quoted and within the time frame they specified via email. Would recommend
