Unprofessional, items not in stock, customer services hard work

Ordered an item from them because they were the cheapest, now I know why. Was showing in stock but wasn't and didn't think to tell me until days later. Tried to ring but no-one picks up, after many tries throughout the day someone did but she was rude and acted as though they were doing me a favour. Got the item (a TT visor) and it was marked/scratched, claimed it was straight from Madison Cycles or something and that's how they are. I decided to send it back, they didn't want to pay return postage and just made life incredibly difficult - 3 days after it was returned still hadn't had a refund so forced to call them, eventually got through and was told it would be done 'soon' - that took another 2 days, all for a £25 item. Wish I had never set sight on this company and Google should stop indexing their products, especially as they clearly aren't in stock. Was happy to give a smaller retailer a chance but wish I hadn't, nothing good about this experience.

Slow start but things got better

After a slow start where I wasn't informed about an item that was out of stock - things took a turn for the better and my order arrived in Denmark after 1 1/2 week from the order was placed. My Thanks go to employees at Total Cycling for excellent customer support on phone and mail.

Unacceptable experience, awful communication, will never use again

I ordered two items 25 February. Payment was taken 26 February. I did not receive my order.

I emailed 10 March to ask why I had not received my order. I received no reply. I emailed again 15 March and received a reply the same day. I was told that my order had been 'flagged as likely fraudulent' as I specified a different shipping address to the payment address. I was asked if I have ever ordered from them before.

On 15 March I replied. I explained that I have been a customer for five years. That they should not allow users to specify a different shipping address if the result is that the order is 'flagged'. That processing payment is not a suitable response if you suspect fraudulent card usage. That payment should not be processed until an order is completed.

I asked why I had not been contacted about the suspected fraud. I asked why I received no reply to my initial enquiry of 10 March. I asked to be refunded immediately and for my account to be deleted. I received no reply.

On 18 March I wrote again to ask why I had not received a response regarding this issue. I informed Totalcycling that I would contact my card provider to report the transaction. That I would refer the matter to the Information Commissioner's Office if they refused to delete my account. That I would leave a neutral and factual account of the issue on relevant consumer forums. I received no reply.

On 31 March I received an automated order cancellation email and I was refunded. No explanation, no apology. I have used Totalcycling around 10 times in five years. I have never had a problem before. I will never use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Fraud, or hopelessly incompetent, might be both.

I ordered a Magura fork and some other items on Feb.29.
Except an auto reply from shopping cart system, they didn't respond at all for 1 week.
I sent inquiry mail, 2 or 3 times, but they completely had been ignoring me.

I reported to PayPal as dispute on Mar.8.
No response from TotalCycling yet.

I requested PayPal to treat this case as a claim on Mar.14.
SOON they mailed me as "Taro, sorry about the dire lack of communication. Would you still like us to ship your order? I can get this shipped on Tuesday 15th."
15? Tomorrow! Great!

Of cause you know, nothing has happened.
Today Mar.25 I've received a refund from PayPal.


This is one of typical method of this kind of dirty shop. They hold my money with 0 % interest. They can invest those gathering cash in anything they want. If somebody give up or forget their order, whole payment could be their profit.
Even if they don't have items, they can earn using the customer's imagine "I can purchase this item such a cheep price!".

For short word, DON'T USE THIS SHOP. NEVER.

zero communication

I ordered an item from totalcycling a week ago
Their site says they dispatch items the same working day if ordered before midday, otherwise following working day.
2 days later, still no dispatch. Repeated emails and calls to try and get in touch with them so I could cancel the order (needed it by the weekend, so ordered it elsewhere instead), no response. A further 2 days later, still no response BUT they dispatched item I had asked to cancel.
No communication, late shipping, abysmal

No Communication, Useless Staff

Being from Northern Ireland I thought I'd call up and see Total Cycling, when visiting the staff were useless, unhelpful and had no product knowledge. I left thinking no chance will I ever order from there. A few months past, and I was looking a specific seatpost, one of the only sites in the UK that had it in stock was Total Cycling. I thought, I'll give them another go, big mistake. I ordered the item, a week had past and I decided to phone them to ask where my item was. Again, useless service, sorry but we don't have it in stock, even though the website was showing it. I would stay well clear of this company, I dred to think what their aftercare would be like on a big high end purchase.

Not exatly fast shiping

I order wheels on 24/12 with mention in stock 5+.On the 1/01 nothing yet so i sent e mail...Nine days lalter they response was sorry we forgot your order... it will be shiped today.I ask for tracking ..Five days later nothing yet . I have finaly cancel my order (without trouble) almost 1 month after my initial order.
