I first heard of TouchNote when my sister sent me a greeting card. It was a genuinely lovely surprise, partly because it was thoughtful, and partly because… who sends cards anymore?
Well. I do now.
My mum is in a care home at the moment, and the usual Christmas and thank-you cards had become a minor ordeal. Writing them was frustrating for her, and we ended up with Mum dictating her messages while I did the scribbling, then finishing off with her name in something approaching a signature. It worked, but it wasn’t exactly joyful.
Then I suddenly remembered TouchNote.
Now I can send cards on the spur of the moment. Mum and I sit together and scroll through photos until we find the right one for the sentiment. She dictates the message, I add the address, and then — whoosh — the card is off, like a small, cheerful messenger.
Recently I wanted to thank my sister in England for a very thoughtful present for Mum: a CD player. Mum was delighted. I even got her to pose “dancing” to the music (she loved it), snapped a photo, and used it for the card. That same day, while eating dinner here in Germany, I sent it off. The next day my sister received it.
Honestly: brilliant.
I’m going to start using TouchNote as a monthly reminder of the memories Mum and I are making — little milestones of progress, small triumphs, and the everyday tidbits that somehow matter most. Then I can send the month’s card in a batch to family members so they feel closer, and properly up to date.
Yes, I could send emails.
But emails don’t look nearly as good stuck to the fridge door.

I just love this app, perfect for dropping a note of thanks after a wicked weekend away with friends, or dropping a line of thanks for kids gifts, or sometimes just a note to say hi to say I’m thinking of you.

Honestly, I love the actually service for the most part. What has me totally undone is the fact that I somehow ended up on Autorenew and was charged almost DOUBLE my first year's rate back in April as an autorenew. When I noticed, they refused to give me a refund, even though they regularly offer "come back" or lower renewal deals. They charged me something crazy like $315 for 12 cards a month, that's 144 cards, so well over $2 each AND THEY EXPIRE if I don't use them all "in time," which seems like it's nebulously defined anyway. I have NO idea how many cards I've forfeited by not using them fast enough. When I argued with them, they told me it was "policy" to not give me a refund. Finally, they offered me an even worse price per card deal, like $99 for 3 cards a month or some such, so I kept the current plan but DEFINITELY cancelled the autorenew and will think twice when this year expires about staying with them. They really don't seem to cater to their target demographic - busy moms. OR, nefariously, maybe they do? Severely disappointed in how my problem was handled and how they seem to be a money grubbing company. You can offer good service and good customer service and still make money! I'm all about a win/win, but this just felt super icky and like all they care about is making a few bucks.

I like writing thank you notes on Touchnote with an immediate photo of the event, to reinforce the specialness of the event, eg-Christmas, birthday, etc.

I trusted this website to send my friends living far away Christmas cards last year (2024), they arrived fine and so I did it again on 2025, sadly none of my cards arrived and although I did get a refund, it was very disappointing because my friends got nothing from me for Christmas and that really annoyed me... I wont gamble again this year... I love cards and I believe it is an awesome way to say someone that you love them and it is always so nice to get a card, but honestly this year I will just choose amazon or a safer option to make sure my friends DO get a little something from me...

Been using TouchNote for over a year and have a membership (just renewed). Had a couple of minor issues, wrote to them and they were very fast at responding and I'm entirely satisfied. Thanks.
Just one thing, you do say use your own handwriting but it is still not there and it would be a nice touch.

A complete disaster, I was on Moonpig then found I’d been charged £68 for an annual subscription from TouchNote. I immediately cancelled everything within 5 minutes but still the PayPal debt remains, I’m going to contact the fraud department to investigate the legality of this. I will certainly NOT be using this company again…

I use the postcards mostly to send little thoughts and encouragement to my Grandchildren mainly and they are always very pleased to get them. When we are away on holiday, it doesn't matter where we are in the world, I can send off a photo and know the card will be with the intended receiver in as fast a time as a first Class card.

They promise same day dispatch but my card arrived a week later and when I asked what the status was they said they have no oversight of the transportation process.
Very disappointing because timing was of essence in my case
