I would have put zero stars if it was an option. A corrupt group of uncaring professionals

The lack of empathy, understanding and undermining disabled people at its finest.

No wonder. The suicide rate is as high as it is in Trafford.

I spoke to a lovely lady called Christine regarding a blocked drain on my road, she dealt with the issue with no fuss and spoke to me in a respectful and polite manner ( a rarity these days ) and the problem was dealt with within a couple of hours.

Absolutely brilliant service, thank you.

Green bin not emptied for weeks and they say it’s my fault!!!!

Would give 0 stars if I could…..

Trafford Council. I reported to you that my green bin hasn’t been emptied in weeks and wasn’t complaining as I understood why not (I live alone and have very little food waste or garden waste). It has been so long since it was last emptied maggots had started to breed in the bin. I was asking you to ensure it was emptied on the next collection or to arrange an additional collection for health & safety. After several days of waiting, your response was ‘after investigating my bin wasn’t presented for collection.’ This is wholly untrue as I put my bins out every week the evening before and I have camera’ed doorbell that shows this to be true. Anyway move forward to this weeks collection…I pot my green bin out again for collection the night before and guess what…….Tuesday evening I get home from work and my green bin hasn’t moved or been emptied again. Really poor service and then to blame myself stating ‘it wasn’t presented!!

One of a long line of Racist Councils/Housing Providers

I am so glad I had an opportunity to read all these reviews and confirm that this council is one in a long line of disgusting housing providers.

Prior to discovering this review, I made an application to become a tenant, but when i submitted it, I saw that the host was none other than the 3rd most racist housing association in Greater Manchester—Salix Homes. When I called, they assured me that they had cut ties with Salix and were yet to change the host. I was skeptical, so I spoke with another member of staff who confirmed it.

The MP at the time also approached them, and I received an email from Alison Dann, who, of course, went out of her way to discourage me from applying for one of their properties , but was quick to direct me to one of their seedy, exploitive private rented accommodations.

It appears to be a common theme for such housing associations. When one or a few housing associations fail to deal with racial hatred directed towards tenants and spread lies in order to dupe others into believing them, the victim is automatically treated disguisingly by other associations. It is if the victim should tolerate the situation they are in.

Alison even stated, "I have a roof over my head." So because i have a roof over my head, i should endure having been called racist names on a regular basis, being physically assaulted, endure having things vandalised and receiving threats. From her insensitive and ludriscous comment, I simply knew she was either still working for Salix Homes or an ex-employer of Salix Homes.

All and all. I am so grateful for these reviews. You made me realise what a scumbag they are and have saved me from yet another scam.

Trafford Council...

Trafford Council.... The most corrupt council in the UK. Lazy staff, terrible roads, high council tax, low output.
Defensive councillors who lie.
Enough said. A complete disgrace.

I’d give zero stars if possible

I’d give zero stars if possible. What level of corruption has taken place to give this shower of excrement the trafford contract! I can only imagine with the people we have in control of our borough. I’ve had a one of their drivers threaten to blow my head off when he cut across me when driving, one trafford didn’t uphold the compliant but the police who I was on the phone too have. Today theyve took my grey bin saying they’ve records sayI’m not entitled to it?! Ive rang them and guess what, after holding for over an hour they agreed I do in fact need a grey bin. I’ve nothing positive to say about one trafford or trafford council, they’re still using the excuse of covid cos they’re too lazy to return to work. Only people who abuse public money get to behave this way. We need Labour out of trafford, massive waste of space

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Trying to get hold of a human being to talk to is like trying to nail jelly to a tree. I just want to speak to someone! Is that too much to ask? Every time I get told the waiting time is too long, please call back EXCEPT for this morning when I managed to speak to an actual person who, when I asked them to get a supervisor to call me but first to establish that they could make international calls (I live in Spain) I got cut off!!!!!

Rubbish service.

Trafford housing 'trust'... not

I sold our house back in September 2020 after my split from my long term partner of 20 years. I needed to stay in the village to be close to my 82 year old mum and my sister and her family. The apartments on Baker Street in Timperley, run by Laurus Homes and Trafford Housing Trust and built by Whitfield & Brown seemed the ideal place to buy. Whitfield & Brown told Laurus Homes and Trafford Housing Trust said I would be able to move into these apartments in October 2020. It didn't happen. I was then told just before Christmas. It didn't happen. Whitfield & Brown, Laurus Homes and Trafford Housing Trust then promised it would be 2nd week in January 2021.. this didn't happen... in a nutshell, based on what Whitfield & Brown,
project manager, Laurus Homes and Trafford Housing trust told me, I would be moving in on Friday the 15th March 2021. Didn't happen. Finally, a set date of the 26th March was a definite. With this in mind, I completed with my buyers for Friday the 9th of April 2021, just to be sure. On Monday the 22nd of March, (3 days before moving), I got a call from them telling me that I wouldn't be moving in on the 26th March and they couldn't give me a definite date. I was also told that they still hadn't had delivery of the electric meters and didn't have a date for delivery. I was also told that once the meters are in, it would be another 4 weeks after that !! As far as I know, they still haven't had delivery. I have had absolutely no help or support from either Laurus Homes or Trafford housing Trust. I am truly sorry that I ever bought this apartment. It has been an utter shambles from start to finish. I feel let down and hugely dissapointed by all concerned. Laurus Homes, Trafford Housing Trust, the builders, Whitfield & Brown. Surely their project manager was the one giving the dates. Driving past yesterday and only two men onsite.. Appalling taking into account the amount of push backs you've all given, it seems there's no lack of urgency. As a result of this, I am now, technically homeless from the 9th April. I have got to put my stuff in storage which is costing me over £120 per month. I've got to pay double the removal costs. My home to the storage, then storage to my new apartment. That's coming in at £1332 ( £520 each trip) I have had to go to my ex partner, cap in hand, and ask him if he could put me up for a few nights. Do you know how embarassing that is for me and how awkward it must be for him ? This has affected me mentally and financially. Not knowing when I can move into my new home and more importantly, not knowing where I can stay for the forseeable future is frightening. I'm a 55 year old who has never experienced anything like this before. I hope your all extremely proud of yourselves for the total mess you have left me in.

Rude and Insensitive

Trafford Council come across as highly insensitive to the requests of the residents. I have had a recent experience where I have been interacting with them since May with regards to someone listed on the FIS directory having cheated me and I can now very strongly say that now I feel cheated more by the council than the person for whom I originally reached out to the council.

Absolutely woeful service from Trafford…

Absolutely woeful service from Trafford Council. I have had the neighbours from hell living next door for more than 18mths & Trafford council will not even investigate (neighbour on the other side is also kept awake by this family who have 3 young children who slam around the house & bounce off the walls at all hours with such force that my pictures shake and rattle & these children scream like they’re bring murdered, often waking me up) consideration is obviously not a concept this family recognize.
There are still more neighbours at the back who also lack volume control & believe everything needs to be communicated by SHOUTING VERY LOUDLY & their kids have also picked up this need to shout (monkey see = monkey do) …… so, a horrible area to live in Summer when we all have our windows open.

Interestingly enough when you look at the council’s published figures on noise complaints & ASBOs issued – this information doesn’t agree with the data provided under freedom of information requests which looks like somebody isn’t actually reporting information correctly?.

Trafford council are failing to get a grip on noise nuisance, so it continues unabated & escalates further. Their lack of action is enabling & endorsing escalating antisocial behavior, which the police haven’t the resources to deal with. (multiple cycle thefts over summer holidays?.... graffiti on shops & an old man mugged for his bike outside Stretford Arndale?.... all you need to do is check out the local Facebook page & ignore the council’s “data” it means nothing).

So, Trafford Council – your lack of action on minor antisocial behavior is allowing it to continue unchecked & to escalate. And, when the area becomes a full on ghetto I’m sure you’ll continue to “amend” the figures.

I’ll be pushing off as soon as I sell my house (which is why I rescinded my original complaint) and leaving the entitled bellowing chavs to take over what was formerly a nice place to live…. Such a shame Trafford Council seem unwilling to do the job we pay our council tax for.

The incompetent Amey & Company Serving Trafford Council

8 Months ago a Stobart 40 foot Truck hit this lamppost outside my Shop and till today the 15-12-2018 nothing has been completed to make this right. I wrote to Amey & Co who are the incompetent outfit that manage the Highways of Trafford Borough

Dear Managers@ Amey & Company
I really do now think that the softly softly and kindly approach to you people is an utter waste of time.
Please take a look at this appalling picture that I have had look at now for 5 weeks. (picture of the sate of paly was sent to them initially 8 months ago)
First of all it took over seven months to come and remove the leaning lamppost that was hit by a Stobart Truck in late April of this year. I have sent numerous emails to our Local Councillor and he has been promised this to be resolved by the end of last week.
The state it has been left with is astoundingly against all Highway regulations for Health & Safety and it is a danger to not only my customers but to everyone. The new Lamppost does not even look as if it is secured and there are electrical wires all over the place.
I was told that you had overlooked this, so far you are continuing to overlook this mess of what I would consider a simple job that should been concluded 6 months ago.
Now we are all stuck with this eyesore for goodness knows how much longer.

How on earth does your management work, who at Trafford MBC appointed such an incompetent and irresponsible outfit like yours.
How can you call yourselves the custodians of our walkways and Highways in Trafford when a simple Lamp post replacement which you are not even paying for (Stobart Paying) takes 8 months and is still not concluded.
I am posting this email on the Trust Pilot and Google as I do want the World to see that we are living as if we are a penniless Borough in poverty.
I am ashamed of having this outside my shop.
Are you waiting for the whole thing to collapse and harm someone innocent?
Get it done by close of play on Monday 17th December 2018 once and for all. Send down all your team before someone is injured.

I will let you all know if Trafford or Amey & Co have acted on my final straw email.

Trafford Council - Poor Basic Facilities

Loads of potholes in Sale Moor, plus lead in out out roads to the M60 J6 at Sale Waterpark, several months now. Dislike the green bin tax - more admin cost and faffing to register for the service. Leasure centres in poor state. Issues with marathons shutting my road down every six months and litter strewn about. It looks like no one is taking responsibility, it's all been delegated to a third party for maintenance and not performing well ? What exactly are we paying taxes for the council to do now ?
