New Carthago Cline as with our previous motorhome the Camos 360 was required . Initial booking had to be changed due to late arrival of new vehicle which Dean on admin easily sorted for me . On fitting day I was able to have the latest Camos OmniVue 1080p Mi expertly fitted by Kes. As usual great job done finish is very neat. The latest Camos system is great and would not be without this driving and security aid. Highly recommend Neil and his team at TrailerVision and of course the Camos OmniVue 1080p. 👍

Great customer service. Motorhome had the 360 3D fitted but needed an additional camera for waste pipes. Camera supplied next day and Les assisted with the configuration file. They even sent a splitter free of charge,

I attended the October 2024 NEC Motorhome & Caravan Show and met Neil from Trailer Vision. He was very knowledgeable about the system, answered all my questions, showed me the OMNI-VUE 360° Digital HD 3D system and explained its capabilities and attributes. It got my interest as I was looking for something similar to this for my camper.

The details were available in the literature Neil gave me and on Trailer Vision and Camos web sites. After reviewing all the available information, and watching a thirteen minute video on YouTube, I chose the OMNI-VUE 360° Digital HD 3D system.

After an email or two and some phone conversations I decided to have the system fitted at Trailer Vision’s workshop in Yaxley. Neil had already given me a quote for the cost and the fitting schedule, which for my camper (A Class) was three days. The only point that needed clarification was the size of display I wanted, (7 or 10 inch).

I was convinced I wanted the 10 inch but on my visit to their workshop and explanation for the alternative fitted positions for the display, (10 inch screwed to the dash whilst the 7 inch could be mounted in place of the internal mirror). I chose the 7 inch, which is for me large enough to be a very effective visual aid to driving. Very glad to have the display where the internal mirror was, as it’s easy to glance at whilst driving and the internal mirror is next to useless in a camper when travelling alone.

On arrival at their premises in Yaxley, I was introduced to the other three members of the team, given a quick explanation of what was being done and given more time to make a final decision on the display size. The whole team were friendly, the workshop neat tidy and full of tools and equipment. I was comfortable leaving my camper in their care and confident they would carry out an excellent installation.

I had booked myself into a local hotel as Yaxley is about one hundred and fifty miles away and I did not relish two multiple change trips on a train. Neil ferried me to the hotel in Peterborough and back to the workshop on the third day to collect the camper with the system completely installed. The installation was explained to me along with a hand over briefing explaining all the functions and how to operate the system.

Fully armed with my new toy I set off to try it out and get used to it. Unfortunately a couple of days later the display failed. I phoned Neil and he offered to book me in to get the issue fixed, find a local dealership capable of repairing the system or send me a new display if I felt confident enough to replace the original. I chose to replace the display myself, however it did not fix the issue so we booked a visit back in Yaxley for the installation engineer to fix it.

Booking the date and time was easy, Neil suggested it would only take an hour to fix, and I could pop in any weekday and they would fix it. I did just that, sent a courtesy email to Neil with a day and eta which Neil confirmed and I popped up. Neil was correct, their engineer fixed it in about an hour and replaced the original display with the new one just in case. I just about had time to catch up with Neil and discuss the merits of 3D printing and design tools with another member of the team before it was ready and I set off on my travels.

I have to commend the whole team for making me feel welcome and treating me very well on both occasions. Their attention to detail and pride in their workmanship is excellent. They carried out the installation on schedule, very professionally, with no wires visible and without any trace of any disturbed fittings or panels. The price for this system installed is great value and the confidence it gives you priceless. They responded to the fault very quickly and got the system fixed on time as promised.

Since the repair, I have had two trips in the camper travelling several hundred miles during which time the camera has been a very welcome addition to my camper. I truly have 360° view around my camper, no blind spots. It makes reversing and motorway driving a joy and visibility all around when stopping at junctions a relief, something I would recommend to all camper drivers.

If anyone is looking for a camera system I would look to the Trailer Vision team and the Camos OMNI-VUE 360° Digital HD 3D system as both in my opinion would be very difficult to beat.
