Not sure what’s happened to this bus service in recent years but the quality of the drivers is a joke. 2 times since the 40 has changed to the F2 have I seen pedestrians nearly getting hit. Drivers are absolutely speeding down the roads, ignore a stop if it has one or two people there, the countries riddle with pot holes, bikes and cars, and those drivers are carrying on like fast and furious double decker trouble. A serious amount of the TFI drivers need retraining in driving in general or made aware a bus is not a car!!

Buses 10-15 minutes late every single day despite it being at 11:30, and two stops away from the beginning of the route where there's no traffic. Never any reason, excuse, or even an attempt at an apology by the shaved apes driving the buses. I honestly wonder if TFI goes to some "people who've been hit in the head multiple times with hammers" convention to get an application pool for their drivers. Absolutely the worst company in Ireland. The entire thing is a joke and every single person responsible for its operation should be sacked.

Driver did not pull in designated stop at woodland villas drove straight on didn't even look in and people waiting for the bus missed my hospital appointments and one lad was for his court case highly disgusted service yous really need a proper driver that does his job right not cutting corners just cause he was late getting out of the bed

Today the bus left Briens Glen at around 3:45pm and it was cancelled on the app so I decided to go to another site in the meantime the same bus number 7 passed me I tried to catch it but couldn't in the meantime I had to wait for 7A for the same long time but I had to go to another stop below, very bad and very disappointing service, please no comments below that you will investigate this further, my bank account and business are suffering without you and with your investigation!!!!!

The only reason this review is getting 2 stars is because the 880 showed up for once. Aside from that, the driver had been rude to passengers, showed up late to the first stop and is now 25mins behind schedule. Absolute joke of a service, needs a reevaluation of staff and of company standards in general.

Unreliable . Met other carers trying to get home, .Every week saturday and sunday it is the same thing F3 doesn't turn up .they go to Greenhills therminus but never leave to go back..

Absolutely the most ridiculous transportation in the entire Europe. And I travel a lot! Never on time, cancel buses don't take people sometimes (or simply say one number of people). All over terrible without any exaggeration. The majority of drivers are rude. I have sooo many stories from the past 3 yrs that I've been using there buses. Even leaving one girl who felt on the stairs inside, although holding, outside on the pathway with a broken back without even calling the ambulance. Shocking! I've experienced so many events myself that I need a book to write them down. Very very disappointed! For 2€/90 min you get...well if you get😅 a shitty treatment.
Not to mention the dirt inside and the smell. Or the way they drive (sometimes even 30 km/h) - not exaggerating 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Absolute joke for a company
Absolute joke for a company. Worst public transport by far in the whole world on so many levels. Ghost busses, them charging for weekly/monthly tickets that dont work and than ignoring email asking for help or juat not knowing the answer for it and blaming other people. Waiting on thei answer and help since May 2025. And right now another absolute joke happened...unexplainable. waiting on a stop 6152 at 11.47 and bus is 1min away and i SEE the bus parked betqeen this and previous stop and it starts movong but than 151 changes to "not in service" befoe it reached our stop and empty bus just drove past us. Joke...absolute joke of a company filled with people that cant do one basic thing they qere supposed to. Best thing you can hope is theyll say "sorry" and than ignore you
Bad service , rude staff
I have just been told by the driver of a TFL bus he is not going any further, I am left standing on a dark road with little lighting. This has happened on numerous occasions over the last few months. The drivers are generally rude with one driver telling the passengers he had to eat. I cannot understand how bus services have disintegrated from what was a reasonable service
Yesterday
Yesterday, Tuesday I took the No 11 from sandyford industrial estate, I asked the driver Fran about the buses that stop near Dundrum S C. My original plan was to get off at the Goat pub and walk down. After sitting down and a couple of stops later. He called me up while stopped and mentioned that the L25 stopped very near and regular. On his Route he stopped at the adjacent bus stop, I got got off, crossed the road and waited 10minutes for the bus. Fran was Ecxtremely Friendly Helpful Knowledgeable and loves his Job. For a Man I never met A Big Thank You, and Say a Big Hello 2 his 🐶Peggie Mitchell!

Took the A1 bus from Monksland Athone to the Golden Island Athlone at 11.30am on Saturday Nov 9th 2024..I had my 3 Yr old daughter with me.I had trouble using my card.The driver was ignorant, rude and humiliated me ..I will never set foot on a T.F.I bus again ..I would rather walk...I don't know who hires these bullies to drive your buses

It's just awful, buses arrive when they want, and I don't have to come for a few hours at all, although it's on schedule, and it's on weekdays!
Wanted to buy a visitor leapcard online. Complete failure
Website overloaded and complicated, you need a bachelor degree to find your way through it.
Finally was on the purchase page, entered all my details correctly, I checked twice, and the result was: "Error - Data exceeds the maximum length for this field" .... but which field??? I can provide screenshots if needed.
Had do enter all again, checked again if all details are entered correctly, same thing.
