Their call center is terrible. First of all, they don’t speak English well enough, and calling them is useless. My bank is having an issue getting my credit score report from them, and there’s really... See more

Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service. I had to talk to at least 6 people before I found someone who could at least explain the process of resolving a dispute but even then the agent could not explain why my credit score suddenly dropped by over 200 points. If her explanation were actually correct then my score would have been jumping up and down each moth for years, and it had not done so. It had been almost perfect for months and then this past August it dropped significantly, despite my not having any missed or overdue payments. The agent confirmed that there were no problems and instead told me that payments that were recently made had not yet been taken into account by Transunion and I would have to wait a few weeks. At any given time I may have several payments pending, but not yet due, and according to Transunion, this is why my score dropped. But, as I said, this has only happened recently. It makes absolutely no sense and the agent either didn't understand the contradiction or simply refused to admit that Transunion had screwed up. I've been waiting close to 3 months for my rating to return to its previous almost perfect level and now have to continue waiting in the hope that some how it will be restored. I just hope I do not have to apply for credit in the meantime. The agent I spoke to today was also belligerent and talked over me as I tried to explain the situation.

I had subscription of Transunion and still not able to see my score and the worst part is when i tried to solve it with Transunion representatives and they are so rude. I keep on trying for 2 months and they did nothing. Like it like waste of time talking to Transunion people and even they don't even deserve 1 star ,t should be in - minus
They are incompetent
They are incompetent. The company needs to be regulated.
Absolutely worse company to be called…
Absolutely worse company to be called Credit Beaureu. Be aware if you try to pull your credit you will get sucked into monthly credit monitoring charge WITHOUT your consent.
It's a big SHAM.
Went on to report a suspicious email…
Went on to report a suspicious email about my password having been changed and directions to singing in again. Went on the chat spoke with Neo. After a full explanation he responded with nothing but "is there anything else I can do for you?" He had done nothing so I gave up not trusting him. Called their line. Systems were down. Last call was to Mark. He also did not comprehend my concerns and just said if I got that email it's because I made the change and TO FOLLOW THE SIGN IN STEPS. He said I "had" to give him my information. (No courtesy words) Most of the call was him putting me on mute for long periods of time without explanation and not even coming back when I called out to him. Yes I was THAT rude customer but he provided me with no reassurance overall and I dont even know if what any of what he said was true. My next step is to cancel my account. They are terrible.

After company data breach I got an activation code. Said “identity verification system unavailable” and a number to call. Spent 2h of my time trying to sort this out. They do whatever they can to end the call, send you info in 10min, that doesn’t work, call again. Still doesn’t work. What a scam!

I can't seem to unsuscribe , I don't want to pay for a service I don't

Unacceptable customer service
Unacceptable customer service. After spending a good portion of my day on the phone with support my problem remains unresolved.
I agree entirely with Mrs.Hadessah's opinion
I agree entirely with Mrs.Hadessah who says that
« If I could give this company 0 stars and report them I would.»
Me too I went from 760 at Équifax to 670 for no reasons at all!
Sneaky untrustworthy company
Sneaky, extremely untrustworthy company who has the audacity to give others "trustscores." I'm pretty sure it's an obstreperous criminal organization with very little regulation. Stay far away from using credit in general if possible. One of, if not America's greatest scams. They trapped me in a subscription plan last year (unknowingly) until my bank finally got involved. Never again. That's a promise.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Kept getting transferred to someone else, each telling me to do the same thing that didn't help me to access my account.
Unprofessional company, query credibility
From start to finish this company appears to conduct business in highly unprofessional manner.
Attempting registration process for ongoing Identity and Credit monitoring service with TransUnion using the "www (dot) mytrueidentity (dot) ca. The necessity for which is due to the March 28, 2023 MACKENZIE Investments Cybersecurity Incident through services provided by InvestorCOM and GoAnywhere.
Poor communication, no email address, no actual person for whom to direct snail mail.
Poor website that looks like it was made in the 1990's and appears to have last been update in 2019.
I have trouble believing TransUnion maintains an operation that manages client information securely. Hardly seems credible.
can't register online and ridiculous wait times for phone service
I have been offered a free subscription to TransUnion's myTrueIdentity because of a data breech. I was supposed to be able to sign up for this online but it didn't work. I called this afternoon and got through to a live agent after half an hour. Part way through our phone call, I got disconnected. The agent had my number and should have called me back. This evening, I spent a full hour on hold and then got an automated message saying to hang up and try again tomorrow because it was 8PM. Not acceptable service!
IT systems repeatedly fail and only option is to telephone
I was given a subscription to a Transunion service as the result of being involved in a data breach. Signing up to Transunion, however, has been a nightmare - not once has the system let me log in without calling them, then they said I couldn't upload documents but need to mail them. They do not operate any email accounts to contact them - it is phone or regular mail only. It could not be less straightforward or more difficult - I would never use Transunion if I wasn't gifted the membership.

Absolutely terrible...still haven't resolved my issues with them 😢.
If I could give this company 0 stars…
If I could give this company 0 stars and report them I would.
There is a derogatory creditor showing on my account that is not associated with me. I must have talked with 20 people who all just transferring me to one another because the website to file a dispute wasn't working. I told them that this derogatory creditor is not showing up on my Equifax report and didn't show up on my credit report when I was applying and approved for my mortgage. This has caused a lot of distress for me.
I went from 750 credit rating with Equifax, but with TransUnion it says I am 650. Nobody seems interested in helping me and I haven't heard anything back after filing a dispute.
Report of corporate credit in my credit…
Report of corporate credit in my credit bureal
TransUnion is seriously a bad credit bureau. Do not use them.
TransUnion is seriously a tarnished credit bureau that exploits its customers through its website. I have had various issues with them dating back to 2021. They have an absolutely unacceptable website that does not work and is all around horrid. Further, they take your credit card details and start charging monthly for a service you never subscribed to. It is also hard to cancel this service once your subscribed. They basically lock you out of the website and none of their password recovery methods work. I have tried many times.
In fact the only way I cancelled their payment plan before by calling them. Even then I had to wait a long time to talk to someone and when I did it was hard to even get my point across.
I do not recommend Transunion at all. If this company wasn't funded by the gouverment it would be absolutely unacceptable.
I am switching to another credit bureau due to all these problems.
Only a list of cons
Extremely frustrating buggy site, unaccessible phone lines and terribly inefficient customer service that throws you around, from dept to another in an endless loop until you give up. I can't believe this company controls our credit...
Sad excuse of a company
I had an absolutely atrocious customer experience with TransUnion.
I had an extremely simple problem that should have taken 5 minutes to solve. TransUnion has a dysfunctional website that suspended my account each time I attempted to log in with my legitimate credentials.
I called TransUnion and dealt with at least 10 of the most disinterested and least helpful employees I have spoken to in my life. Not only did they not help matters whatsoever, they could not have cared less and repeatedly hung up on me.
This company has an important function that it totally lacks the competence to deal with. They deserve to go bankrupt.
