Super helpful and friendly
They are great, we booked with them tickets for the forbidden city (which are very difficult to get for occidental people) and they managed to do it in the day and time a lot that we chose.
We got in contact with them through WeChat and they replied really fast and offer us extra help to make reservation to Tiannamen square, which we didn’t know that you needede a booking in advance (free entrance).
In our case we spoke with Christina and she was great!

10/10 service :)
I was struggling to book train tickets for May 1st (Labour Day and the start of a five-day-long public holiday in China). I contacted Travel China Guide just a few hours before the tickets would be released. Honestly, I am so grateful to them, especially Sunny, for responding so quickly and trying their best to book the tickets I wanted. When the tickets were sold out in seconds, I was offered different options and thus we were able to book some alternative tickets. Hands down awesome customer service and I can only recommend them if you need a helping hand with booking tickets in China.

Efficient Train booking services
I have made train booking through Travel China Guide and was impressed by their services. I am supposed to go to Kunming and Lijiang with my wife and two other friends in March 2024. Close to the travel dates my wife had a fall and fracture her knee. My trip has to be cancelled and Sunny Zhang is very helpful to cancel my bookings and rearranged the train bookings for my friends. I also got my refund very quickly. I will engage their service again.

Probably the simplest way to get train tickets in China
I was a bit wary of this website which design does not seem to have been updated since the early 10s. But it's legit, and they delivered. We ended up booking several tickets through this service. There were a few communication misshaps but we've been overally happy with it.

For these last weeks (may, June 2023) I traveled alone in China. I strongly recommend to go through the Travel China Guide Tours internet site to book your train e-ticket. Seamless! So easy
It was an excellent service and made it really easy to book trains between Beijing and Tianjin. I really appreciated the assistance, and the ease of the website (which provided all the different options (times, trip duration, details on the stations, and photos of seats and carriages). Would highly recommend and will definitely be using this service again.

I booked trains in China with TCG. It was fast and easy. Once I made a mistake and booked a wrong date – my mistake was immediately addressed, the trip cancelled and the money returned.

Beware of this company. They will charge you monies for bookings, will not fulfill the booking and then will not refund the monies. DO NOT use them for train bookings etc unless you are ok with losing your monies.

A highly enjoyable one-day tour of the Terracotta warriors and Xi'an City walls, as well as the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarter.

Excellent, trouble-free service
I contacted Travel China Guide to help me arrange a private airport to train station transfer, train tickets between Kunming and Dali, and a 3-day solo custom private tour that included Lijiang, Xizhou, Shihgu, Yuhu, Shuhe, Baisha, Shaxi, and Tiger Leaping Gorge. Doris Chang was my contact and she was a star from the get-go: responsive, patient, professional, and thorough. Our pre-trip planning email communication was seamless. Once in China, we communicated by WeChat. Mike, my English-speaking airport to train transfer guide in Kunming was also great. Mike was friendly, professional, and made sure I got on the right train. Kevin was my Dali-based guide who took me around Xizhuo, Shaxi, and the Shizhonshan Grottoes. Alice, my Lijiang-based guide, took me around Lijiang, Yuhu, Shuhe, Shigu, and Tiger Leaping Gorge. Kevin and Alice were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My private driver was also excellent. Travel China Guide delivered excellent, trouble-free service.
