Bad experience very unprofessional

I made the unfortunate mistake to book my flight via this agency. Upon asking to cancel my flight and request for a refund, their website does not function anymore. No functional number, and no customer service to answer the hundreds of emails I've sent. I do not care about their clients at all. Just a bunch of unprofessional. I will be taking legal action against them! what a scum!

"A Ridiculous change" without passenger's permission

I have already purchased this round-trip ticket (from Amsterdam to Hong Kong, the transfer station is Doha) . But recently I have received several emails stating that the time has changed. I don’t want to change the ticket details & I don't know why there is a change.
the return flight has changed without my permission which i need extra 8 hour overlay. And im totally not okay with that.!!!

Booked flight with Travel Genio, paid for selecting seats, which were not reserved at the airway company!

Booked a flight through Travelgenio, paid €75 for selecting seats for two flights. When I received my confirmation from Qatar Airways, no seats were selected! Impossible to reach Travelgenio, no phone number, crappy software that doesn't help me as a customer! Bad service, would not recommend to buy tickets through this intermediate and don't understand why sites likes Skyscanner would want to be associated with such low service level partners!

Super scammy company

Super scammy company - don’t book with them - they take money for booking seats but you don’t get them. They are famous for this according the Copenhagen airport personnel!

Disgusting Customer Service Continues!

Disgusting customer service and outright LAZY and don't want to fix the problem. I end up doing their job for them!
This is from previous complaints regarding the NAME CHANGE. WHAT THEY CAN DO BY SPLITTING THE BOOKING, but ARE SO INCOMPETENT I'm shocked!!

I have had a discussion with the Lufthansa Group about the change and they say it can be changed by SPLITTING the booking from the third party airline, but nooooo Travel Genio are too ignorant to even know this I have to do their job for them to find this. I've even sent TG the email thread of the discussion.

Every person reading this. Do not buy tickets from this subpar company as they do not give a crap about really helping.

And whoever replies to this thread. I'm so disgusted by your company that every time they're incompetent by not doing their job I'm posting about this. People need to be made aware of just how bad you are. The air flight scanner sights should outright ban this company for outright incompetency and terrible customer service.

No costumer service, no phone number, can't change my flight....

I bought a transit ticket through Travelgenio. My flight has been rescheduled by the airline making my transit flight impossible. I contact the airline and they refer me back to Travelgenio. I contact Travelgenio for over a week and still didn't get any reply and its impossible for me to change my flight or get refund through the site of Travelgenio! I can't find a phone number.

If something goes wrong with the flight, you are screwed. Stay away from this scam company!!!

No flight ticket issued, Airline gives out warning of booking cancellation

Dear Travelgenio

I am not sure if it’s fair to rate my experience with Travelgenio at this time. But I am very anxious about the ticket status.

When I purchase the ticket, it included cabin luggage and checkin luggage, but the mail received from Travelgenio after payment doesn’t have any luggage allowance.

I have checked on the airline website, the booking is there, but the ticket is not issued. Only a few left before departure, airline website gives a warning of cancellation at any time if the ticket is yet to issue.

It’s a ticket for a student. Please look into the booking and issue the ticket now. I am anxious about my lateness to my new Uni. I must catch the flight.

Please check and release the ticket ASAP.

Our flight was cancelled but we did not receive our money back when we requested a refund

Our flight was cancelled but we did not hear from Travelgenio that is had been cancelled, we had to learn on our own. We requested a refund through a cancellation request CA-137356 they said "We will contact you in the next few days via this channel to inform you of the next steps to take." but to no avail. Why don't they have any way to email customer service? Why are customer phone numbers not available? What are they hiding other than our money.

I have booked my flight from BRUSSELS…

I have booked my flight from BRUSSELS to JOHANNESBURG and iam trying to get hold of them as my email address has been entered wrong and I need my booking confirmation and nowhere can I find their customer service numbers. I need to print my ticket and how can such a company not have a customer service number?

No refund, no responds

In June 2021 I was supposed to fly to Senegal to see my husband, from the Netherlands. Last-minute the airline, Maroc airlines, cancelled my tickets without another option available. I had to book last-minute an expensive ticket with another airline. I could not get a refund but some voucher which, if not used within the year, I would receive a refund. As I don't live in the Netherlands I never used the ticket. I have been e-mailing multiple times over the past weeks to get my money back. Of course no responds. BIG SCAM!

Travelgenio solve this Issue

Bad experience with Travelgenio

In february 2022 I booked 4 return tickets Amsterdam - Bangkok with Swiss Airlines.
Total amount was 2250 euro!

Return Arrival August 26 2022
Booking nummer 19998487

Recently I received a new iternary in which the departure tickets Amsterdam via Zürich to Bangkok were cancelled.
Than I started to call their customer service every 2 or 3 days. All the time I got the same answer, I have to wait and I should not worry.
Well I do have worries reading these bad reviews.

I even contacted Swiss Airlines if we can fly on a alternatieve date August 7th. Swiss confirmed that there are seats availlable.
The same day I informed also Travelgenio.

This is not the way how you should treat your customers.

Travelgenio resolve this issue !!!

If only 0 stars was possible

If only 0 stars was possible. Absolute SCAM. Our flights were cancelled by the airline and we got $0 refund. We lost $1600. I contacted the airline and said I was entitled to a full refund but Travelgenio wouldn’t pass it on. What a horrible scam of a company. I hope someone files a class action against them.

This is a fradulent website. Never buy tickets from here, if you don't want to be scammed.

I feel like the websites of this travel agency has been hacked and serving for a scam operation.

I had bought tickets from this site before and all operations went smooth like 3 years ago. I have bought 3 tickets on June 11, and I have got a confirmation email in my inbox that the purchase was successful and the money was withdrawn from my bank account, but I have never received the eTickets. I have realized this 3 days ago, and tried to login to their 'so called' customer service site 'My Trips' and I couldn't. I have used an email alias with '+' sign in it, and I think this has caused the issue, and sent an email to the customer service email address which I could find from tracing tons of posts in different websites, requesting the email address to be changed. The response I have got (the next day, not on the same day) was: 'We inform you that in order to manage your request, you must direct through the form that you will find in the MY TRIPS section from your bookings.' The issue is about not getting into this portal. How am I supposed to access the form?

One day later, I still don't have a response. That's why, I feel like this website is a scam. My 956€ has evaporated.

Go buy your tickets elsewhere.

EDIT: If you noticed on TrustPilot website, it's indicated that Travelgenio responds 97% of the negative reviews. Looks like I'm one of those in 3%. No response whatsoever. No emails for my emails to their customer service. Looks like it's a real scam now.

Customer serivce said they would help and no help

NOTE: It is now almost 24 hours later...and no email in our email box from customer service!!! Please help us! Please reply...record in your system: IC-173968; booking ref 2008-5416.

We received notification that the airline cancelled one leg of the flight (from the airline, not Travelgenio!) so was put on a flight 24 hours later, in a country where I would need to leave the airport to find a hotel for my family. This would require a visa and an expensive hotel. I logged into Travelgenio and there is no way to call customer service. The only thing you can do is select one button, I do not accept the change. You can not add anything as to timing, date, etc. I therefore searched and found the customer service number which is not published anywhere. After waiting 15 min on the phone the girl said there is nothing I can do. I just have to wait--maybe up to a week--to receive an alternative flight. And if I don't agree with that I can only respond by email. I asked to speak to a manager or someone who could help me change the flight and she said there is no one in the company who can help me. This is the worst customer service! (record in your system: IC-173968 )

Tried to contact customer service to…

Tried to contact customer service to correct a mistake in my e-mail address @gmail.nl instead of @gmail.com. Waiting time was mentioned to be 7 minutes, after 20 minutes i gave up. Since I did not receive emails and cannot use mytrips, please contact me to correct the e-mail address.

Scamming thieves.

Booked flights, extras kept getting added on. Was not able to add checked baggage while booking, stated i needed to buy extra package that covers baggage. Emailed several times over 3 weeks, no response, called waited 35 minutes to be told the extra package i bought has nothing to do with baggage. And that it was going to cost me $700 for two bags as that what the airline charges, spoke to airline and they charge 65 per bag. Complete scam site. AND website does not allow you to log in to ¨My trip¨

***Still waiting for the email they claim to be sending.

Company with fake services and non-compliant terms

Due to the COVID situation and the new measurements from the destination country, we were not be able to take the flights and cancelled.
Our cancellation request was not accepted and no refunds were provided even though the airline confirmed to us, that we will be refunded.
After we realised that the customer service is fake. You can not contact them since provided email adresses and phone numbers are fake. We never got any answers on our emails. In the checkout the data data protection laws and general terms and conditions are empty and therefore do not comply with regulations. That is not a serious company. It violates legal requirements and screwes customers.

Scammed

I booked a ticket through this website and I am yet to receive an official ticket through the airline. scammers!!!!!!!! Abuse them on Linkedin! they are more than 190 people working there. Full-time as a scammer. what an organized loot!
