very bad customer service

very bad customer service. I had some questions so i did call them no one answered if someone picked the phone we have to wait finally hung up the phone. Very rude behavior. not even trying to listen to the customer questions. Pl do not book the ticket through them.

All I did was change the date of my…

All I did was change the date of my flight. I thought I paid the price difference come to find out I paid them and they also went on the airline sighting did the exchange put in my card so the airline also charged me. Nobody wants to admit that I was charged twice and someone owes me money. I'm passed off.

Do not Trust Travelpod!

While Travelpod offers good prices, they have the most stiff and stringent self imposed cancellation and change policies even when the airline is flexible. Travelpod makes money by making you pay through your nose for changes and cancellations.
I booked a ticket pre-covid and then the flights got cancelled so I got a 1 year period to use my monies. Few months later, I called them to get a refund as I was in need of money but they kept saying that the Airline doesnt allow cancellations. I called Air France (my carrier) and they were happy to refund the money - 2 months and counting, Travelpod keeps telling me that they are checking with the airline

Never do business with these people.

I booked flights with united. the flights got canceled. and united no longer flies there. They will only book a flight back to the same city. So basically I'm screwed. Never do business with these people.

Well I wrote a review about a refund…

Well I wrote a review about a refund that never came but they were referring to the airline ticket. I made reference to the hotel reservation 3 times with the concerned department. I spoke with someone and they stated that if I gave the required information they would refund the money to my account only after 15 days that it's been received. I will wait the 15 days "like they say" to receive the $780.00 into my account and if not then legal action will be required. Until then I give only 2 thumbs up and will let you all know if I was successful.

Travelopod is the worst people to deal…

Travelopod is the worst people to deal with period. My name is Mary Smith and I live in Montgomery Alabama. My pops John Devlin purchased ticket to go to South Africa worth over 5000.00. But when the virus hit travelopod told us if we send them 1900.00 more dollars they would send us back half of the 5000.00. That’s when I told them he’ll no. So to make a long story short, all you people that has dealt with them call you Consumer Affair office to file a complaint please. My pop John got every penny of his money back. Please do this before it’s to late. Thank you. Mary Smith

Unfair services

***The agent cancelled my reservation then rebooked the same exact flight that was originally reserved and charged me full price AGAIN for it****
My flight had changed and I called in only to inquire and change my flight back to the original nonstop flight i initially reserved *if available* (the nonstop showed available on google but was no longer available on Sun Country website). The agent failed to mention that flight was not available before cancelling and failed to mention I would be charged again and/or not refunded the cancelled flight.
He said “you did not give me time to explain, you cut me off”. He should not have cancelled my reservation without confirming the new flight details to book, he should NOT have charged me AGAIN for the same exact reservation he cancelled, he should have explained the costs of “cancelling/changing” the reservation. He would not give me a reference call #, his employee #, said no manager or other persons were available to resolve it.
Weeks following, I spoke to 2 agents to request a refund of the charge- one claimed "hmm he must have charged you the difference"- no I was charged the full amount again + a service fee for travel pod. Then I was transferred to another agent- "did you use the flight?"- I responded of course, how else was I supposed to travel back during this pandemic !? "Because you used the flight you will not receive a refund." I requested a supervisor/manager call back and that did not occur either. Unfair services to their customers.

T E R R I B L E

T E R R I B L E! - DO NOT USE!
I booked $1500 worth the tickets in Dec 2019. I just called to get credit for the tickets so that I could use them later due to the current world pandemic declared by The WHO. I was told by the a man (who barely spoke English), that I could not do this because I booked too early to receive credit. Then he told me that I should be able to travel because my destination has not problems with the Corona Virus!!!
Not to mention I had to call twice because once I got someone on the phone they told me they were too busy.
Since when customer service representatives can give medical advice ? I will never use this company again!

Worst Service ever

Worst Service ever. They suck all the money if u have to change ur travel dates. Never ever book with them. Go to them only if u have no plans to change ur flight.

Avoid this company like the plague

Avoid this company like the plague. I encountered this company by mistake thinking I was contacting Southwest Airlines. That was one of my mistakes which will not happen again. The Lady on the phone was hard to understand and told one lie after another starting with the type SWA fair I could only use in order to upsale. I had a credit with Southwest and they told me they work closely with them and would apply the credit but upcharged an additional 140.00. SWA said I could have used any fair they offered. I called back within 24 hrs and was initially told I could cancel but 10 minutes later with a so called supervisor, she said I couldn't because I used a SWA credit ( Made reservation on 02/20/20 approx 3p. called back 02/21/20 @8:30 am). I would give a -1 star if they had it.

Travelpod is the most horrible company…

Travelpod is the most horrible company to get tickets. Dont ever use them just book with flight company yourself.booked ticket with travelpod for oneway from hawaii to cali for 198$ they spelled my last name wrong. Couldnt get on plane so they bc of wrong spelling. They tell me they give a a ticket for 500 additional dollars with no refund. Had to figure out on my own. Thank god southwest cared so much and felt so bad for me got e onnan for 198$ and got me to my wife and kids. When i asked to talk to a manager they refused to call or answer. Told me four times i would have a call back and nothing happened no call back no answer. Just refused to answer questions

Ultimate disappointment

If you are reading this, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE TO BOOK TICKETS. Your reservation will be cancelled and they will not help you. They are very incompetent. They will come up with the most ridiculous, non sense excuses.
My flight was cancelled. They sent me an email letting me know the fare was increased
When I called them, they said it’s because maybe someone else on the same time was booking with me online. Total nonsense!!!

Run away! Close that tab right now and look for any other website.

Seems like a scam

My boyfriend tried to book us a flight from PDX to Vegas round trip, hotel included, with a quote around $490. Once he agreed, the travel agent Clay Roy said it would now cost around $900 instead. When he tried to cancel the flights, the travel agent said it would be a cancellation fee of $75 each. The whole conversation lasted over an hour. When my boyfriend got frustrated after answering the same questions from the travel agent over & over again & hung up the phone, the travel agent repeadetly called back multiple times & spoke in a very aggresive manor. Did not seem professional or legit. He sent an email where my boyfriend needed to "confirm" the cancellation, & the email was riddled with gramatical errors, misplaced punctuation, etc. Seems like possible phishing. Do not use this company!!!

My $800 round trip ended up costing me…

My $800 round trip ended up costing me $1300 when i needed to change it! Then they changed the wrong card twice!!! I told they i wouldnt be using the card on file and entered the new card in a email. When i still didn't have my tickets I called and spoke to some of the rudest people in customer service i have ever encountered.

Ask for Leo

Booked a ticket for my dad with Leo. This guy actually gave me better rate than what was showing on internet. Ask for LEO and you won't regret it.
