cousin's credit card and December but…
When I call back for refun after 2 months they told me it takes up to 6 weeks which it was past 2 months and they try to claim Turkish airlines then they said we refined the credit card back $532 back in December but they were never able to give me the date with data was refund it then they said no we made a mistake we overcharge you cousins credit card 2 times for $172 then we have to refund back less money so everything comes out of their mouth it's a lie and they make me so sick what kind of company is this all the companies they will to work with you to give you full refund back or you can use the ticket for one year from tha day off purchase this travel agency day are not honest day dont tell the truth is the worst company ever to purchase tickets
Choose Another (any other) Travel Agency
For starters, I am on my fourth passport and have traveled extensively, yet this was by far the worst travel/booking experience I have ever had. In summary, we had to purchase another ticket for my wife to fly overseas because the Travelpod agent who booked our travel asked for travelers names which was different than my wife’s name in her passport. Once at the airport, it was either pay for another ticket ($976) or delay my wife’s international travel for 1 week or more while my toddler son and I flew to India without her; that was Travelpod’s idea, not mine! But even after we paid for the extra ticket the fun did not stop there and was far from over. Then once in New Delhi, India, we waited several weeks then were told by Travelpod to visit the Turkish Airlines office (this is downtown New Delhi, not at the airport) to fix my wife’s return ticket at their office. We tried doing that but once we reached the airport the travel ticket itinerary was still not resolved which demanded more time yet at the ticket counter at New Delhi before they would allow my wife to leave/travel.
This whole problem started during the initial ticket purchase process and booking, I was asked by Travelpod booking agent for our names, not those in our passports or I would have provided my wife’s maiden name. Travelpod’s confirmation e-mail explicitly asks for travelers names, it should ask for travelers names as listed on passport or travel identification. I was never once asked for any of our names in our passports…told Travelpod same and suggested they review those recordings of our conversations. They either do not have recordings or never reviewed them. Reminded them, their team are the travel experts not us as travelers. We get on airplanes and travel, their team needs to ensure these bookings are accurate. The Turkish Airlines folks who assisted us at their New Delhi office said as a travel agency Travelpod (or any travel agency for that matter) are supposed to review our passports, which obviously did not occur. The only hope we had was for our first/departing airline to review my wife’s green card and connect the fact she had name change through marriage, an option which failed to no avail. Every other ticket agency I have ever used (and there have been many since I have held numerous subsequent passport) have always required passport info, date of expiration, and issuing country. Turkish Airlines not only agreed with this statement, they said Travelpod must be taking short-cuts and are not following protocol. Travelpod, however, simply skips all those steps and while it saves their team time and money, look what happened to us here! I already know for sure this name mistake their booking agents make (actual travelers name vs passport name) has happened before and it will certainly happen again so their company needs to start following protocol and make changes to confirm international travelers book their tickets accurately.
After returning home from our travels and reviewing some of their less satisfied customer ratings, I now feel even more foolish having booked our tickets with their team in the first place. I gave them numerous opportunities to reimburse me for this extra $976 ticket but in the end they tried offering me a $100 credit on a future ticket purchase which I refused before positing this review.
In closing, this is an honest and regrettably unfavorable review to include all the hassles and headaches we went through from being delayed at first US airport, to traveling with our 2-year old toddler, to buying an extra $976 ticket, to waiting almost 2 weeks once in New Delhi to hear back from their team re return trip action plan, to having to travel to Turkish Airlines office once in New Delhi, Turkish Airlines ominous feedback on Travelpod’s failure to follow protocol, to arriving at New Delhi airport to learn name change problem was still not fixed, etc. Choose a more reputable travel agency to purchase your tickets so you don’t end up like us.
They are robbers
They are robbers. Charged my credit card twice once from Travelopod and 2nd time from Air Canada. They have spon to to my bank and Air Canada and confirmed there is only one reservation done through travelopod. I am still fighting with them for my USD 3000. They have fake names like Steve, Hazel and what not. These fakers who does not even use their real name how can they be genuine. Travelopod US start taking more responsibility. You lose trust every time you call Customer with the answer there is nothing we can do.

Advertisements on Facebook and on line say Lowest price guaranteed. Up to 40% off by phone. Called and got higher price than I found online by myself. ☹

Beware!!! this company sells high-priced tickets and don't provide accurate/important information when you book the flight with them. Very poor service. If you call them to resolve any issues, the wait-time is very long and they are not helpful at all. Their whole intention is to steal your money by changing or canceling the flight and keep your money for their own benefit. Never buy ticket from them...it's trap. Buy the ticket from the airlines itself. Highly unethical people!

Horrible, horrible, Horrible! Never book with them. I got to the airport and I was told I had no reservation because they never confirmed with the airline. Then I had to pay to book a later flight because I missed the flight I had originally booked. I paid and additional $449 per ticket for the three tickets I needed. Then I didn't even have a return booking and I fought with them on the phone for the whole time I was on vacation to book my flight back. I kept on being told I had to talk with the airline to book a return flight. They also had horrible costumer service was told would be called back in 15 minutes and I would always have to call back 45 minutes to an hour later because I would never get a call back!! They also didn't want to book me a flight back home because they were telling me it was the airlines fault. Absolutely ridiculous you're better off somewhere else.

Poor service /poor company policy
I was on line shopping for a flight to Norfolk there are several sights and travelopod was always cheaper I called and chatted with them about the flight and it was available I then booked. Everything looked fine it come up correct and I was satisified then I was contacted by them and told I was being given another flight I told them I did not want it . He said he was sending over an email which he did It has all my flight information and the additional flight He wanted me to return it with my approval. I do not approval the additional flight I did not send it back He called me again and asked for it back and I refused. I checked and I can see my flight on KLM with the additional flight today I am on line with travelopod customer care to get assistance but all I get is passed around I have booked with several companies on the internet and never was asked to send an approval you pick a flight and you pay for it I tried several times to send an email via thier web page but the submit button does not work I am trying to get answers but they stall me in less than 20 minutes I have spoken to 3 people and they just stall me After 24 hours my flight is finally corrected. Now I find they processed 2 payments on my credit card which caused my account to go into the negitive. After getting that corrected I noticed the flight had dropped another 40 bucks and I asked them to match the dropped price which they refused and stated they only match after 4 hours This place is terrible customer service and resolution Please do not use them They will consume your time and energy I had posted here before and they asked me to remove it as they resolved my issues but the issues kept coming up and they are of no help Plus they seem to shut down in the afternoons so I assume no one is from the USA

Unprofessional and pricy - STAY AWAY
Hi used Travelpod and though I was happy with the booking but all hell loose broke when I needed to reschedule my mom's ticket. I was charged a whopping $463 ($200 change fee + $263 fare difference) as a change fee for Monday, Oct 17.
The agent - Roger David (Officer Post Sales) was extremely rude, raised his voice when I asked follow up questions and seemed irritated. Not the right person to be in customer service role.
Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Will never use their service again.
Never book with Travelpod
I had very bad experience with travelpod...I have resceheduled my journey due to unavoidable circumstances..They told that reschedule will be charged only 350$ + fare difference... At the time of new ticket booking they told me some weird stories and asked me to pay the price which is equivalent to a new ticket, Never ever book a ticket with TravelPod. Use online website they give you very good offer than Travelpod..
