Lovely ‘home from home’ hotel. Staff very attentive, professional and friendly. Food great. Beds were really comfy, so all in all a very positive experience.

I signed up for a free trial, got hit with the yearly fee (I was okay with that). Then I emailed the company asking to cancel, life got busy and I forgot. -I have never used any of the services from this company & I had marked them as spam, and didn’t see the renewal email that was sent a month before & when I called and told them that I requested to cancel, they couldn’t find the email I sent. Customer service was not very helpful regarding getting this sorted it and said due to membership terms, they wouldn’t be able to make an exclusion. BEWARE, this could easily happen to you.

The Lawrence hotel was a lovely hotel to stay in. We got a lovely warm welcome from Alison, who couldn't do enough for us. Helping us to settle in and explaining meal times etc. The breakfast and evening meals were truly delicious!!! The bedroom (snug room) was great for us and had everything we wanted. I especially liked the communal kitchen on the 1st floor where residents could store items in the fridge or even help themselves to snacks, tea/coffee etc......very thoughtful. Another lovely surprise was the sun terrace, where we sat after arriving, with a bottle of bubble!!! We will definitely be staying here again.

Had a lovely lunch at Gordon Ramsays Restaurant in Grosvenor Sq, London. The staff were all lovely and really looked after us and it's a real shame we cant upload photos. It was a double birthday celebration for us, me 73 and the wife 70.

Cannot beat the luxurious ambience of The Savoy, London. As always Gordon Ramsay's restaurants did not dissapoint. Had a substantial delicious meal in The River restaurant. A beautiful elegant restaurant overlooking the river.
My partner and I opted for mackerel /rhubarb starter then for main cod with peas / shoots and creamy sauce...the combinations excellent. Surprjsed me with a little rich velvety chocolate mousse fo my Birthday...not a dessert person...but it was meltingly yummy and just the right amount of sweet.

Great food and service

The hotel was lovely - we had a full apartment with kitchen and living room and the staff were extremely helpful. However the hotel requested a scan of the whole voucher before booking, which was not what Travelzoo said we needed to do (they only said we had to give the voucher numbers) so I had to go to the trouble of obscuring the PIN; and we did not receive 'A small bottle of prosecco, a bottle of water, and chocolates in the room' as stated on the voucher.

Another great stay at The Big Blue. This time we booked a Suite for our 1st Wedding Anniversary and even got a card in the room. Thankyou. Suites are definitely recommended for a special occasion.

Amazing collection of familiar and more unusual vehicles in excellent condition. Friendly knowledgeable staff.
Headset was invaluable. Great cafe too.

Just beware if you’re unhappy with your subscription, even if you reach out within a few days of the charge, they will not issue you a refund and you’re stuck with the service for a year. I reached out shortly after the trial ended, based on the website saying you can request a refund within 14 days if you are unsatisfied, and let them know I haven’t used the service and will not be using the service and was told there was nothing they would do so just be careful before you put you’re card in anywhere on this site.

A super, comfy, welcoming pub. The Travelzoo deal has been excellent. Two nights in this glorious part of the world. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and generous. Dinner in the pub was superb. We were given a map of the village and had a beautiful 2 hour walk from the pub. Also visited the canal way in Hungerford. A real treat. Highly recommended.

The sat nav address needs to be amended.
Your post code SG18 9DT arrives at Kingshill Cottages
and the turning there takes you down a 'no through road ' at back of the airfield.
Suggest you amend to Hill Road SG18 9EP and that will take you to the entrance of Old Warden Park

Excellent food served in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the rolling hills. Staff are friendly and the service is good. There is a large car park.

Fabulous displays in the 6 hangers. Not just planes but trucks, cars , buses, carts etc from all ages. The Swiss garden is a fabulous outside space with a fan grotto and lakes and bridges . Add to this seeing light aircraft take off and land some vintage. Great cafe.

Played the Hellidon and Lakes 9 holes and great condition, greens quite fast fir this time of year
