Dangerous and Decitfull
Please see below the exchange which is my review on trip advisor and the dive centre's response. Trip advisor does not allow me to respond back to the dive centre's requests for me to answer.
You will then see the dive centre has the engaged one of its employees to pose as a tourist asking me for answers about its view of my review.
It then becomes clear that they are actually employed by the dive centre, this is done purely in their own commercial interests and deceitfully so. They only admitted they we employed by the dive centre after I spoke to you.
Dangerous operators, don't use them if you value your life.
Review of Skopelos Dive Center
Reviewed 26 May 2019
I went diving with them last yes and had poisonous air, i’m Guessing their air filling intake was near the kitchen or some other toxins, however once I got below 20 mtrs my vision went fragmented, and I was about to pass out, I carried out a safety assent, the assistant (dive master to the instructor) saw my eyes / pupils were dilated but didn’t even connect with me and assist me to the surface, I was in and out of consciousness, instead he waited for me to reach the surface and then began to blame the experience on me being dehydrated!! I wouldn’t put my life in their hand again, ps I was previously an instructor not a novice.Show less

Hello Sir or Madam,
It is very important what you are mentioning!
Could you please give me some more details about your dive? Which day was it? What was the first name of the Divemaster being with you? Which was the diving site? We are a small business and not many people work for us, I trust them all, and I am sure if something like that had ever happened I should have been informed.
Obviously it was not the air quality since we use the same procedures for filling the tanks five years now and no one has ever complained for something like that! But just the fact of someone surfacing from 20m is something our Dive master's/ Instructors would have reported to me because such a thing is very rare.
Please let me know some details.

Hi mate i saw your comment on trip advisor and im looking to go there. Is the only one diving center..

I think there are others on the island, I was probably unintentional but I was then how they dealt with it that was worse. Do a search for dive centres on skopelos through google, I can recommend any others as i’ve Not used them.
Enjoy

I search for it is no one on the island and i call them say about bad reviews and ive been told is fake reviews... So i dont know

When you dove with them? This year?

When you dove with them? This year?
10:31
I went diving with them last August
16:36
2018?
16:38
So maybe they better now.. But i saw they answered on reviews why don't reply?
16:38
You remember the name of the divemaster so i can check if is there the same guy??
16:41
Today
You can call the dive centre, ask them about the review and find out how the dive master was at the time, they pretend not to know me from my review but they must have a record of my diving with them if not they are worse than i said before. on their response on trip advisor they ask me to tell them the dive master (his name I can't remember) and the date. They should know all this if they keep records for safety as is required of PADI locations.
They say this should have been reported to them, i agree but it seems they chose not to record it. As the instructor how's group i was with was fully aware of it as i split from his group to ascend, he didn't follow the rules either as he should have aborted the dive and taken the whole group up with me for safety. He spoke to me about it when he got on the boat after he finished the dive with the rest of my original group.
I have a witness that i was diving with called Chris (and their could not have been many divers called Ashley in September last year. I would respond to their review on Trip advisor but it won't let me as I've not visited the dive centre again since.
08:13
Oh ok this is really important but you also must have your logbook and the divemaster sign up for you so you have his padi pro number..but before you tell me last August now you saying September
11:22
Hi I get the impression that you are from the dive centre, if so, you should have the details of the dive, the dive centre did not ask for my log book and did not complete it, if they are following the PADI procedures they should have logged all dives and all divers and all staff that conducted those dives.
i was sent pictures taken by the instructor on the previous dive, they do know who i am.
As fir you correcting me about the month i dived the it is obvious that you are from the dive centre.
11:55
I do work for the dive center but its not very important me personally i need to no the truth cause im servicing the compressors this summer and its not to a kitchen change filters when its time etc.. All my questions was personal
Maybe you should have mentioned that before you started to pretend you are an impartial party or a tourist!!
I wrote good and bad reviews
I wrote good and bad reviews. my bad reviews were taken down... just another fake company. i also noticed that 'businesses' with good reviews are in real life very bad businesses... how come? fake reviews. absolutely unreliable. 5 star reviews businesses and you go get a 1 star experience. strange huh?

I booked some months ago with…
I booked some months ago with TripAdvisor for a villa in the Canaries for 2 weeks in November ending 4th December. There was no notification that the booking was made through their company, holiday lettings UK nor that there would be a 14.5% booking charge added to the bill. I only discovered all this after I returned home and made contact with the property owner.
Also, there is a breakages deposit of 100 Euros which is held for 10 days after end of rental and subject to access by the property owner if required, and that is OK by me. However, this is now 19th December and I have had no notification that the 100 Euros refund has been actioned by Holiday Lettings.
On the basis of the above details I can only express my dissatisfaction with the TripAdvisor experience, but not the owner's property which was very good, and that if the breakages deposit does not arrive into my credit card by tomorrow 20th December, then I will take the matter further.
Fixed
Fixed! I cannot leave a poor review about a hotel. Tripadvisor will not say why! Clearly they don’t allow genuine reviews.
FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE
AI looked on a programme about finding houses for people and googled about fishing in the area , and seconds later Trip Advicer had made me a customer and added me to their mailinglist ???

This is a totally unreliable review service
This is a totally unreliable review service. We own a small country inn and have been reviewed by lots of people, 99% good, but the few negative reviews have come from fools who haven't been to our pub, or fools who don't read the signs. How can this company justify the fact that anyone, anywhere in the world can leave a review, without actually using your business or services.
Any little keyboard warrior can write a review about any business on this crappy site.
Do yourselves and favour and don't believe anything on it....
The sham of tripadvisor - unless you leave a 5 star review
All about 5 stars reviews, although I’m pleased the mail are publishing a Dec 2019 review that I’ve written about the shams of 1 or 2 star reviews that aren’t published due to clear endorsement payments via various establishments... we should all boycott trip advisor.
Recently tried to write a review
Recently tried to write a review , about Villa plus.
Had it rejected on the basis that they let out on a weekly basis.
I thought that TripAdvisor by its very name was about experiences had by normal people, about experiences over trips .
Obviously not....
I’ve Concluded that the Trip Advisor reviews are a sham.....
As background to this review, watch the YouTube video “How to become Trip Advisor’s #1 Fake Restaurant”.
I’ve used trip advisor on numerous occasions to get ideas of good places to eat when travellling abroad. I have generally had a good experience using the site though have been unable to get my reviews - albeit always good - published, notwithstanding the fact that I have reviewed more than three restaurants which is the minimum requirement for publication. I was very excited to book a lunch time date with my mum at the No1 rated Lebanese restaurant ‘Madito’ in Paris last weekend but was appalled by the whole experience and logged an honest but bad review feedback on the trip advisor site - on the lines of the meal was meagre and bland and not worth the 28 euro per head cost. There then followed about 20 emails from Trip advisor admonishing me for not turning up to the booking to which I responded that I had. I was then asked to prove that I had eaten at the restaurant but we were asked to pay in cash direct to the member of staff at the till and no receipt was issued. To be honest the experience was so bad that we couldn’t get out of there quick enough due mostly to embarrassment at being conned. I tried to raise issue with customer services at Trip Advisor but am still awaiting a substantive response. The morale of the story is to take Trip Advisor reviews with a pinch of salt as the No1 rating in this case is purely a sham based on all of the bad reviews being inaccessible due to the 3 review rule and bookings being deleted after the meal so any negative feedback cannot be noted.
I had an excellent experience on Trip…
I had an excellent experience on Trip Advisor. I was on a family trip to Paris with my mother. She extremely excited! Since high school she has always dreamed of going to Paris but never had the opportunity. I had an extensive list of museums, tourist attractions, and sights from friends and family who have traveled there. There were a few days where we didn't have anything scheduled. Trip Advisor saved the day as I looked up activities and events around us. It was quick, easy to navigate, and the descriptions were spot on. Easily our best day in Paris.

Not like it was once at its very first steps. Nowadays people knows about it and it's not easy as before to recognize what is really authentic and what is not. Still acceptable btw.

Absolutely awful customer service as a owner!
I had two bookings for November and this afternoon I got a very rude email
from trip advisor stating that they were cancelling m my bookings as it is not a whole house that the guests would get! It never stated it was! It states very clearly that it’s a double with En suite and parking.
Tripadvisor get very upset if you set rules in your home and they also charge a lot more than air b do.
For the same booking with air b I would pay £3.50 with tripadvisor they wanted £25! I’ll stick with air and never use tripadvisor again!
Very very rude staff.
Above the law??
I recently asked Tripadvisor to remove my listing under the data protection act as I am a sole trader. I had been advised that this was my right under the legislation. Trip advisor got me to fill out a GDPR form which they acknowledged receipt of but then nothing more. When I chased it they said I was out of time on this complaint?? But I was waiting for them. Anyway, they’ve given me a new case number and will be back to me at some point, but if they continue to ignore me what then? Kind of ironic when they host reviews from people who may or may not exist and we have to comply with their rules but they don’t comply with the law of the land??
Trip Advisor Is More Corrupt Than Many of Its Fake Reviews!
Sick of this hypocritical, shabby company! I have been trying to, honestly, review The Red Lion, Cromer for days now. And every time I put an host review in, I get the usual grovelling email, saying, ''Well, done, your review is important, thank you'', then when I go to see whether it has, finally, been published, it has not, and it has simply been deleted! So, since I have only just opened an account on that site, and reviewed 10 times, with 6 still remaining, and the other 4 being Red Lion deletions, and all with the same sort of content as the other venues, I have to ask, ''Is Trip Advisor in cahoots with the Red Lion?'' and ''Are Trip Advisor being paid, by The Red Lion, to reject negative reviews?'' This is serious, as Trip Advisor is manipulating my reviewing, and I suspect others, to positively give the Red Lion reviews, and it is NOT publishing negative ones! And for anyone out there, here is the latest review, they will no doubt ban, for simple honesty, and we can all see I am simply stating facts, based on MY experience, and opinion, and nothing is defamatory or slanderous, at all!
''Rip Off Prices
We are locals, and sorry, but having been regulars, know the drinks are far too much, at around £5.00 for a pint of premium lager, and several pounds for an average house red or white! To top it all, they have just increased prices, so even more to pay.
We now drink elsewhere, as many locals and former regulars do.
Food is very average, and again expensive. Staff is usually short of, and management hide in the reception, oblivious to people waiting.
Not good... we voted with our wallets and feet and left.''
So, why is it Trip Advisor deletes, without question or reason, and without any form of notification? Why is it, with The Red Lion, all reviews are positive, with very, very few being anything other? And why is it that Trip Advisor is not contactable, and has no customer service?
This company is corrupt, and should be prosecuted, as it allows and probably contributes to fake, positive reviews, and yet will do what it wishes with true, negative reviews! Why? Simple, the Red Lion pays revenue to them, and I suspect has interfered with due procedure!
Shame on you
No wonder your score is so low on trustpilot, you uploaded a review about my B and B which clearly contains racism and this person was also offended because my wife was caring our 7 months old baby when she opened the door for this guest, also this guest name never ever booked at my B and B. Shame on you tripadvisor
I have been using Trip Advisor for…10 years
I have been using Trip Advisor for years and I know you have to read the reviews with a grain of salt.
But what upset me the most was when I posted a review recently on a B&B in Savannah, Georgia which got a poor rating from me.After all when you visit a B&B you want to sleep well so you can get up and continue on your trip, which in my case was a 7 hour drive. The room was so stuffy because they control the A/C, I couldn't sleep. After I posted my review the owner of the Inn called me on my cell to complain.
I mentioned this to trip Advisor and have not gotten a reply as of yet.I believe this is an intimidation factor and there should be rules for business as to how to react to a critique. They should reply on line and that's it.To search through the reservation form, look up my cell # and voice a complaint of the review personally should NOT be allowed. Trip Advisor does not seem to care so I will continue to inform the public to beware when you put an unfavorable review on Trip Advisor.
What's next, a knock on the door and a punch in the face !!
Writers beware !!!
The firm is a scam fake review site, they remove honest reviews for NO reason
What can i say about this site sponsored by the companies that they claim they DO NOT work for
Recently have posted a review on their site about our woes & troubles with PIA, on 2 separate occasions they have now removed the reviews. Even though they were 100% correct and we had provided ticketing information for the flights.
It seems Trip Advisor do not like -ve reviews about their customers. Whats the point of a site claiming they offer up reviews from real customers yet only want the +ve's rather than the warts & all reviews.
Avoid this fake site, use other sites instead
