Cervelo R5 Di2 purchase, zero customer service

Purchased a Cervelo R5 DuraAce Di2 in September 2019 from Tri UK Yeovil. RAT Axle broke in March ‘20, DuraAce crank cracked in August ‘20. Both replaced at my cost and expense whilst waiting for warranty authorisation (appreciate Covid effect). Warranty approved reimbursement, still waiting payment after endless chasing and excuses. ‘New systems in place’, ‘accounts team will call you with a refund’. Incredibly poor, woeful customer service. DA, Lytham St Anne’s.

Overall a great experience!

I had bought some cycling shoes form another site and paid £93 for them. The order was cancelled due to stock shortage and I found them on this website for £52... No issues with the postage and they arrived in good order too! Thank you!

I recently purchased a swimming wetsuit…

I recently purchased a swimming wetsuit from Tri Uk and had to return it due to the sizing being wrong for me.

I have experienced similar situations with wetsuits over the years as they are notoriously difficult to fit!! Previously, with other online retailers , returning an ill fitting wetsuit has always been a troubling experience , with significant delays and arguments to overcome before a refund was agreed.

The experience with Tri Uk was a breath of fresh air , their customer service was exemplary , they were friendly , quick to act and nothing was too much trouble.

The particular member of the customer service team that I dealt with (who I probably shouldn’t name) was professional and attentive throughout , it was without doubt the best customer service I have ever encountered.

If only all online retailers were so accommodating . Tri Uk have a customer for life in me!!!

AMAZING CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL

I am quite delighted to have bought my Cannondale SystemSix with TRIUK. My interaction with the mailorder team and in particular Ms. Davina was such an amazing experience. The bike was being shipped from the UK to Doha, Qatar and the team made sure the bike was well built and arrived in Doha in great shape.
There professionalism was amazing! I am would highly recommend TRIUK

Superb customer service

Due to the high demand during the pandemic, this company have struggled to keep their online stock availability in line with the actual availability. However, despite the running shoes I ordered being out of stock, the customer service I received was quite simply superb. I received an email 2 working days after I placed the order to say it was out of stock and I would get a full refund in the next 48 hours. I then phoned them to see what shoes were in stock and got straight through to Davina who was so friendly, apologetic and helpful. She checked the stick there and then called me back straight away with options for me to choose from.

Awful avoid

This company are awful. Ordered a pair of Tri shoes on 28 July and was notified on 20th of August that they were out of stock. Payment was taken on 3 August and paid by me on my credit card! I just don't know how companies think they can treat people like this. They certainly won't be getting any more business from me! Not good enough Triuk!!

Can only write a review on my personal experience which has been fantastic. Ordered some swimming training aids on Thursday arrived Friday unbelievable as I need them for tomorrow. Very happy satisfied customer thank you Tri UK 👍🏻

No customer service at all

Tried to order two wetsuits for weeks, but an error on the homepage prevented the order.

Tried to contact triuk on both mail (three times) and on Facebook, but no reply at all.

I found a way to order it at last (on my own).

Still without any reply or communication, I just received the package, but only with one wetsuit.. (without informing me, they just crossed out one wetsuit with a pen and just send me one wetsuit)

As we are two, who wants to swim together, this is pretty much a deal changer, so I find the customer service triuk delivers as the worst I've ever experienced

They can not be trusted with simple orders.
In 2019 I purchased some triathlon gear with delivery to London. Should be easy to fulfill yet they changed the house number from 23 to 24! How is that even possible? Do they address parcels manually?
Because I was traveling a few days later there was no time for the gear to return to their warehouse and then reach me. I was left without trisuits for my partner and me.
Their manager told me that they have the best customer service and that this never happens...

In August 2020 I thought I should give them another chance. Especially because they have good prices. I ordered a couple of trisuits and some other gear. Thirteen (13) days later I got a confirmation of shipment and a notification that a third of my order has been cancelled because it was out of stock.
Nobody asked if I still want that order.

Adding to that, they have ridiculously expensive shipping for EU. I purchased tri gear from Sigma on the same day and they delivered in 5 days for under 9 GBP. Triuk charges 30 EUR for Royal Mail tracked! This is twice more than any other retailer in the UK and I buy loads on the island.

This is not a serious business!

Woeful. Avoid like the plague

I purchased some MTB shoes on 9 August, and by 26 August received an email saying that they were out of stock, undergoing a significant upgrade to their stock management system and some other excuses as to why this company is just woeful. They used covid as an excuse for their poor performance.

Avoid like the plague. I expect I will see a refund in a months time later, too.

When you find out that this company is owned by the sports direct tool then you realise you should have avoided them at all costs.

Late but turned up.....

Ordered a pair of Fizik cycling shoes at a great price on 29th July, tried to contact TRI UK several times but not very successfully.... managed to get 1 reply on 15 August saying 10-17 working days dispatch time!
Then one 22 Aug I received a email they were being shipped, they arrived on 27th August..... long wait but at half price. Poor customer service and slow delivery but they did arrive.

Worth the wait

Ordered two pairs of trainers. Confirmation email said there would be a delay due to COVID so I wasn’t expecting to arrive them immediately. They did arrive within the timeframe given, very happy to get two new pairs of my favourite racing flats for a great price.

Couldnt fulfill order even with 2 week delay

Ordered item. Noted the statement on the website about the delay due to covid-19 being 10 to 14 days. Waitied 2 weeks with no news so sent an email asking what the progress of the order was only to be told item was out of stock and they could no longer fulfill the order. Refund given but massively disappointed as had i known they couldn't honour my order i clearly would never have bothered.

Order confirmation 29th July still no delivery or communication.Don't answer phone, voicemail full, don't respond to E-mails or their own contact facility on the website. Absolute disgrace, steer clear!

Complete Shambles. Negative score if I could

What an absolute shambles of a company, cancelled my order with an email a week after purchase due to "issues with stock" even though they had 3 in stock when I purchased. Non contactable by phone on any of their numbers. Don't reply to email. Don't reply on social media. Then to top it off they haven't cancelled with the finance company so I am £150 worse off with payments due to come out each month for a bike I don't have. Seriously do not buy anything from this company. They are a disgrace and take incompetence to another level. Also seem to completely ghost their customers with no way to communicate with them. Really quite shocking.

The worst delivery times quoted for…

The worst delivery times quoted for dispatch, ten days! then missed their own unnecessary lengthly deadline. They refuse to answer numerous attempts to contact them on the phone, They dont reply to emails. If Basil Faulty went into this type of business, this is what FaulTRI towers would look like.
