I wish we had sought the advice of Troocost (via CLA Energy Services) before having our new electricity supply and meter installed.
The capacity on our new connection had been over-estimated resulting in sky-high bills. Gavin at Troocost helped us to reduce the capacity, set up supplier contracts and save money.
If we had involved Gavin at an earlier stage I believe we could have saved a lot of unnecessary expense.

I recently contacted Aaron Lee at CLA Energy Services, over a problem I was having getting an electricity meter replaced. He was most helpful and efficient in resolving the problem. The new meter has now been fitted and is working.

After a bitter experience with the similar company Bionic who, without my permission extended by a further 2 years our company electricity contract at an increased rate when prices were actually coming down (costing us approximately an extra £700) I was sceptical of using a similar electricity supply agent. However, before we realised our contract with Bionic had been extended beyond the agreed one year period I spoke to Rachel Robinson at Troo who was very helpful and gave me a far more competitive rate. Troo also say they do not automatically extend the contract so I will be happy to use them once our existing contract eventually ends.

We worked with Troo after they contacted us to offer their services. At first we were dubious I won't lie! However, our energy costs were massive and we were struggling each month, we were having such trouble with our previous electricity supplier we decided to give them a go.

We are extremely glad that we did! Both Gavin and Cassie are extremely easy to talk to, sympathised with our situation and helped us escape our nightmare contract as it had been missold to us. We are yet to move on to our new tariff but we are chuffed with the result. Possibly the best result from a cold call we've ever had :)

There was an error over the term of the contract. Otherwise the service was adequate.

We run a small timber and fencing business in Essex and have had to change energy suppliers. We had such luck when we were approached by Craig Portsmouth of Troo - he has been so thorough and helpful during this process we couldn't have asked for more, it is a minefield at the best of times. Craig has managed the entire process for us and has gone to great lengths to make things work smoothly. I can't recommend him more highly!

Negotiating energy products has become more difficult as the years go by. The new technologies involved in producing a reading and a bill have become frankly ludicrous, both non-responsive and incomprehensible.
It is sad that we need an advocate to help us negotiate getting a reading and producing and understanding an energy bill. Some people do not, so to have Aaron Lee at CLA Energy Services has been a brilliant God send.
