Travel to Greece
We used TrueTrips to plan our trip to Greece in September and October 2022. The itinerary was well planned, consistent with our feedback. The accomodations were almost all excellent and in cases that they weren't, the staff addressed our feedback. We tjhoroughly enjoyed our excursions, which were enhanced by the quality of our guides who were knowledgeable and great teachers. Our drivers were also professional and prompt. We had one missed connection with a driver, which the staff also addressed with a refund. Thoughout our trip whenver we had questions or concerns the TrueTrips staff were prompt and responsive. We would recommend using TrueTrips to other travellers who expect top notch travel experiences.

Fabulous itinerary with flawless execution!
Our itinerary for 16 nights in Greece was fantastic and all of our trip logistics were executed exceptionally well! Communication with TrueTrips was easy & efficient. The TrueTrips team was very professional, knowledgeable, and responded thoroughly and timely. Their portal made it very easy to understand the details of our trip. They provided information about every place we were visiting and even included restaurant recommendations. All of the hotels were excellent including great coordination by hotel staff. We had anywhere from amazing to spectacular views at all of our lodging.
One driver, Dimitrius, for the land portion of trip was outstanding! He was personable, professional, very flexible and made sure that all of the logistics worked well and to our liking. All of our guides were outstanding - knowledgeable, informative & personable. The sailing trip in Santorini was superb! We will definitely use TrueTrips again!

Trust Truetrips for your trip of a lifetime to Greece
Truetrips was a wonderful agent for our trip to Greece. For me, planning a trip is almost as much fun as going. Truetrips created a trip of a lifetime for my husband and me, by taking into consideration our budget, our wish list, and our physical abilities. They proved their worth especially during and after Covid, when I was hesitant to travel. One of the agents sincerely told me, "No problem. We want you to be able to enjoy a memorable trip. Let's just put the deposit towards next year." Again, 5 days into the trip, bad weather canceled our ferry from one island to another - Truetrips took care of all the hotel, ferry, and transfer changes so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. Their choices of islands, hotels, activities, drivers, and guides made this trip a 5 star experience.

I have used True Trips several times
I have used True Trips several times. I have always been extremely impressed with the accommodations they have arranged and also the transportation. It is so nice to get off a plane and have someone waiting for you. The drivers speak fluent English which we do not expect being in their country and they give us an introduction to the city where we have arrived.

True Trips Was Great!
We just spent ten days in Greece with True Trips. They were fantastic! They delivered exactly what they said they would. We went to Athens, Meteora, Santorini, Nafplion, and Mycenae. All drivers and tours went off on time with military precision! Demetris and all the drivers were friendly and very professional. Always in a new black Mercedes E Class or Mercedes van. All of the guides had college degrees and had tremendous knowledge. Iris in Athens and Niki in Kalambaka were outstanding! The hotels they recommended were first class and included Electra Metropolis in Athens which had a perfect location and Secret Legends in Santorini which was luxurious as well as a super value. I feel that I was lucky to find True Trips and will use them again!

In Mykonos, Paros and Athens, everything went perfect with True Trips. The staff from the CEO Christos to Irini to her team are exceptional, always responsive and always willing to say yes to get the job done.

Worst travel company. Don’t let them scam you!
We arrived yesterday to Mykonos, to what with thought would be a luxury villa TrueTrips booked for us as part of a 10 days vacation, but not only the place was nothing like in the pictures they provided as part of our itinerary, but it was a horrible place, with furnishings extremely old and dirty and jo AC. This is supposed to be a nice experience for what we are paying more than €50,000
The coordinators and manager in charge are only reachable through a general email address and the phone numbers on their website are never answered. Luckily, we were able to book a villa through Airbnb that is 1000 times better and for a fraction of the price, and with a host that has been super helpful in helping us to get situated, from meals to activities. Still haven’t heard from True Trips. Hopefully we can get most of our money back.

Exceeded our expectations planning our dream vacation to Greece!
I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about the amazing team at TrueTrips, who helped plan and execute our long awaited trip to Greece to visit Athens, Santorini and Crete. They definitely exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to help organize my marriage proposal on a private sailing excursion!
Irini and Demi provided excellent communication and were ever so kind and patient to answer my many questions! All of the transfers, hotels and excursions were perfectly planned with no issues throughout our trip, however, I would not recommend taking the ferry…very disorganized and you’re treated like cattle! Their affiliated team of private drivers and tour guides were top notch and very accommodating.
If you want friendly and experienced travel experts to handle all aspects of your trip with ease, TrueTrips is your solution!
Thank you all for giving us the adventure of a lifetime! I will definitely use your services again!
All the best, Michael & Matt!

Hi Michael and Matt,
We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful words you shared for our team! We are over the moon hearing that you had such an amazing time in Greece - we love going the extra mile for our guests, especially for such a special occasion. Our service providers always make us proud, so we are really happy to hear that their high level of service also resonated with you. Regarding your ferry experience, we understand that it can be quite hectic at times during the summer season. Unfortunately, the only flight option from Santorini to Crete is with a stop in Athens which would require much more travel time, hence, the ferry has proven to be a more efficient option for this particular connection.
Nevertheless, we are glad that everything else went without a hitch and that you enjoyed your dream vacation in Greece with us. We look forward to working together on your next trip to Europe whenever you are ready!
Second trip with TrueTrips as outstanding as the first.
This is my second trip with TrueTrips. It was as wonderful as the first. They really listen and take into account what you tell them about your interests. All my guides but one were highly engaged, knowledgeable about what we were visiting, and eager to ensure that I got what I wanted. All the drivers showed up on time and were quite pleasant. I very much enjoyed the hotels Truetrips recommended except one. They were beautiful and comfortable, and all but one had luscious breakfast buffets. Above all I have found the Truetrips staff to be extremely customer friendly, flexible, responsive and genuinely concerned that their customers have the best possible trip.

TrueTrips- A Class Above
Our TrueTrips tour of Greece was nothing short of phenomenal. From the outset we were confident we had made the best choice for our travel partner. TrueTrips takes the time to survey your travel wants and needs BEFORE designing your travel itinerary. You never feel as though you are being plugged into some predetermined package tour. We love the freedom of independent travel but enjoy having first class support during our journey. TrueTrips is a class above at so many aspects of travel but especially: 1.Managing unique hotel/resort reservations (Their knowledge of the Islands is unparalleled) 2.Executive private car transfers with professionals that end all concerns of missing a connection. 3.Private tours that open your eyes to all the hidden places and things that allow you to re-explore on your own later making each Island visit truly unforgettable. 4.Online support throughout your stay, making any last minute changes or desired additions seamless. Why trust the trip of a lifetime to anyone but TrueTrips

We love getting to know you and putting a voice to the words so that we can form a personalized collaboration that serves as the foundation of an unforgettable trip. We are really happy to see that you enjoyed your stays at the properties we recommended for you, as well as your activities – we always choose experiences that speak to the culture and expose you to lesser-known spots that can have you walking in the footsteps of a local.

Mykonos & Santorini Trip
We recently returned from a 12 day trip to the Greek Islands, everything was perfect, all of the pickups and transfers were on time, the excursions were all great, very high quality, enjoyable, and relaxing. The accommodations selected were over the top spectacular. But most of all, the way everyone treated us in Greece made the trip! It was extremely helpful to have TrueTrips help us navigate the entry & exit requirements due to Covid, as well as ensure the entire experience was smooth and worry free. We will definitely use them in the future!

We are so happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time in Greece, Mel! Thank you so much for such kind words – we are truly heart warmed to see that our hard work paid off.
We place great importance on who we cooperate with and have carefully selected service providers that we are absolutely certain will offer our guests an experience to remember. Having maintained an impeccable collaboration with our suppliers all these years, it also assisted us in navigating smoothly the unconventional circumstances caused by Covid-19. So, we are very glad to hear that you had an amazing trip with us without any hiccups along the way.
All of us will be very excited to see you back for another TrueTrips experience, so that we can organize together yet another fantastic trip!
True Trips is simply spectacular!
True Trips is simply spectacular! We’ve used them three times to handle Greek trips for my husband and me, traveling from the U.S. We have been all over Greece and love it. We’ve had True Trips make very unique travel arrangements, none more so than the last trip we planned with them after travel opened up during the pandemic. That was a very unique Greek Trip of a Lifetime where my husband wanted to travel to many of the sites of the Persian Wars. George at True Trips went WAY above and beyond putting an extremely perfect, unique itinerary together for us – complete with guides and drivers, as well as travel to a couple of islands. We’ve always loved the hotels they put us up in – not big chains, rather smaller boutique hotels. When my husband’s health tuck a turn, and we had to cancel our Greek Trip of a Lifetime, we were so very pleased (and quite frankly touched) that True Trips worked to get almost all of our money back! We greatly look forward to resurrecting this trip in the spring because, quite frankly, we HAVE to meet George to thank him in person!

A true pleasure working with you each and every time is, quite frankly, an understatement – thank you so much, Susan and Leo, for sharing such amazing words for us.
As you already know from your experiences with us, we do our utmost to cater to our guests’ needs and offer impeccable services sprinkled with unique activities that you will be able to carry for a lifetime. We were mutually saddened to hear that Leo had a health issue and that you had to press pause on your trip, but, health always comes first and we do our absolute best to have our guests covered and protected, in case of any unexpected trip changes. We were happy to negotiate extensively and go above and beyond to achieve the most favorable terms for you, utilizing every resource we have to bring a better deal to the table, as we would do for our family and friends.
Our team, and of course George, can’t wait to resume your third trip to Greece with us, so that you have the chance to embrace the rich history of the Persian Wars along with our excellent guides - we are sure it will be an experience of a lifetime!
