My wife had a seizure and was rushed to hospital and I forgot to pay the toll that day. I disputed this 3 times and although I was unsuccessful they put my fine up after stating this would not increase whilst I appealed. During this time period I was sent another 2 fines, when checking the dates of the journeys were not showing in my app and I had money in to cover them. I rang them up and they accepted it was a mistake, what if I had not rang and went ahead and paid these, I can see online now there was an app glitch that day. It seems they are able to make mistakes and send threatening letters out yet the people using the tunnel can not. Avoid at all costs.

Absolute joke. I have the app, I top up the app. I had a return journey through, didnt register on the app, so payment was not made. Sending me fines for something out of my control, they wanted this automated system, they want to charge people. Tax payers paid for a tunnel used by a private company to charge tax payers who are doing all the right things. Disgusting.
