Tuff Shed has taken $7,000 of my money for a deposit on a build and will not return any calls or emails. They have completely ghosted me and I am now trying to cancel my order and will most likely need to do a chargeback since they have absolutely zero interest in following through on their end of the deal. All I have been asking for is a simple status since I am now over a month past the time I was told it would be delivered when I ordered but all I get is crickets from them. Absolutely the worst company to deal with. Stay far away from Tuff Shed!

From the day Carolyn and I walked into the TUFF SHED showroom we found the Company to be unusual in its outstanding customer care. We originally wanted to replace our old 30+ years 10' x 10' aluminum shed. Although we really want to get a larger sized shed, it was our understanding that the city would not permit anything larger that a 10' x 10'. Fortunately, the sales person was knowledgeable and knew that larger sheds could be permitted. With his experience and knowledge he helped us design the perfect shed, and handled all of the permit applications and the installation. Additionally, he kept us well informed through the entire process.

TUFF SHED is an unusual company. In this day and age it is one seldom finds a company that is dedicated to its customers.

We had wonderful experience with Tuff Shed’s representative Tom Lichon. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He made our decision very easy.

At the very least make Tuff Shed be responsible for permit, especially if you don’t know what your doing. That way Tuff Shed is responsible for concrete, garage, etc. They will never tell you this so make Tuff Shed get permit.

Mike black did an excellent job on my moms building! He kept in touch with me and let me know what all was going on! I received my building in a timely manner and when he was done I was able to use immediately!! I def recommend these guys and I will be purchasing another building soon!!

I purchased a Tuff Shed January of 22. After looking closer, I found the Majority of the Nails were shot below or through the siding. There were areas with the siding not nailed to any studs vertical. At the joining seams of the siding, nails were shot on the edges not securing the overlap board. I was told by the manager, this was one of the better builders. Also he informed me a coat of paint will cover it all up. I took pics and videos of all this.

I was so tired of paying for storage that I went to Tuff Shed and met with Neil. He was helpful, and professional and made a ton of suggestions that helped us decide on the perfect storage shed. The team that came out to build our shed was professional and we LOVE our shed. Thank you Tuff Shed. We will definitely recommend you to our friends and family.

I talked with the guy in Dec after Christmas set up the paperwork account had to wait a week called & paid for a 10x8 building the guys came out week later took about 3 Hrs to build in our back yard very happy & they did a 40 ft building at my Mom's 7 yrs & is still in good shape

We initiated a purchase with Tuff Shed through their website as there wasn't a local rep / retailer in our area. I was contacted by the Columbia office. Gave them the dimensions we wanted and never received any more communication from them.

Reached out to the rep in Charlotte and had a miserable experience with him. He sent the quote three times and each time something was wrong. Finally got a corrected quote and it was just one thing after another. I ended up cancelling our order and going with a different company. It was a pain to get the termination of contract from him and I'm still waiting on my $3k down payment refund.

Got a 12x16 tall barn from them and the installation was a disaster. Crew was here on site untill 11:30p the first night and left the job unfinished. What they did finish was sloppy and incorrect. I would never use this company again.

Crew came to put up a shed. Left with an uncompleted shed with a huge hole in roof and gaps in roof that was installed. No contact from Tuff Shed on when it would be finished. Finally, after two weeks, I contacted Tuff Shed. Crew scheduled to come out on a Monday. I took time off work only to have crew cancel. What a waste of my time. Again, no contact from Tuff Shed on when it would be completed. I finally contacted Tuff Shed again and was told they would make good on the shed. I'm very skeptical. We will see. Meantime, I have a shed with a huge hole in the roof.

I thought I could save time by contracting Tuff Shed to complete the building rather than build it myself.
Was I ever wrong. It wasn't worth the frustration. Never again.

Absolutely the worse purchase in my adult life. Very poor construction techniques by unskilled labor. If I hadn't spent $6000 on this pile of cr*p I would pay someone to demolish the shed and haul it off. You have been warned if you choose to do business with this company you are going to be very disappointed. Half of floor was not even secured to floor joist, unlevel wall plates, walls out of plumb, rafters run out past wall. You can stand inside the shed and see daylight through the wall. The roof ended up being a complete disaster. I am having to pay a local roofing company to replace a roof that is only a month old.

Do NOT get a TuffShed if you want any remotely decent degree of workmanship. I had them install a garage and from Day 1 it was a disaster. Garage failed inspection for the structure 3 times. The overall cost of the garage was about 60% higher than the original salesman estimated. When they charge extra to "prep it for insulation" that means just a vapor barrier. I ended up having to get spray insulation as the studs (which were uneven and off by about 4" in some places) were not deep enough for regular insulation. The quality of the build was so poor that the spray insulation leaked out between the roof and walls and dripped down the side of the building. STRONGLY recommend against working with these people.

Had a great experience with Tuff Shed and especially with the sales rep, Elliot McCullough, who kept in touch via phone calls, e-mails, and messaging during the entire four month process. Elliot was always very courteous, polite, knowledgeable and understanding. After deciding to go with Tuff Shed with an initial designed, we were informed by my association of the needed construction changes. Elliot assisted me in the material and color selections and after finally getting their approval scheduled the construction date. Because of weather delays we finally got a crew scheduled and the initial construction was completed. Material delays caused the crew to have to come out the next day to complete the job. They added anchors needed to satisfy village requirements at no additional charge. The final crew was pleasant to deal with and I couldn't be happier. I am sure I will be the envy of the neighborhood, and can now safely and securely store all my lawn and snow removal equipment for years to come. Thanks guys.

Tuff shed 17500 W Valley Hwy, Tukwila, WA 98188. I would give them a zero if I could. I lost my very large, 2 story shed to a fire in February of 2020, I was looking to replace it with the exact same building but due to changes in building codes in my area, a shed this tall would not be permitted unless I had it grandfathered in within a year of losing it. I spoke with a salesman at Tuff Shed in Tukwila, told him the situation and was assured this would not be a problem. I signed a contract and paid 10% down in August of 2020 which was around $1800.00 I then approved the preliminary plans, mind you, this was not customized beyond what was offered on their website but I still had to pay a fee for the drawings, almost immediately they started making excuses saying it may take a little longer to get the final drawings done due to Covid but still assured me the final drawings would be done before February of 2021 so I could send them to the city for the building permits along with my site plan that I had already prepared. Well the date came and went even though I was writing them asking what was going on, then they made more excuses, saying the salesperson I was dealing with no longer worked for them and it fell through the cracks, then they said they would expedite my order and make it a priority, then just last month, September of 2021 they sent me a new invoice and added over $6,000.00 to the cost and still no final drawing until I approve the new cost. Unbelievable! I signed a contract when I paid my down payment, submitted that to my insurance and was paid out the depreciated cost of replacement of the building based on that amount, they were the ones delaying my order, I did my part, just because cost of materials went up, wasn't MY fault, they never admitted that was the case, but I'm not stupid, I know that was the reason they kept putting me off, they couldn't make enough profit with their bid now that they waited so long. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, they lie, they are obviously incompetent and they screwed me out of getting my building replaced.

Worked with the Orlando representative on Colonial Drive. Emailed him (Neil) for basically for two years as wasn't absolute certain due to the Pandemic. Neil was very courteous, patient, and answered all my questions. I finally decided to go with the purchase and couldn't be happier. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and was completed in one day.

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. I took off work for delivery, and was notified the evening before that my delivery would need to be rescheduled, after the delivery was rescheduled I was told a "new" delivery window. That time had come and gone, I asked the customer service rep about this and was told it was loaded and they would be there soon. Shortly after I received a call from the installer stating they were 3 hours out. I then asked if delivery could be made without my presence and they said yes, I marked the area and told the customer service rep about this, to my surprise when I got home, NO shed delivery was made. Now, two days later I still have not received any communication from them. I am in the process of contacting Home Depot to cancel my order with this joke of a company.

They should change the name to Tuff Shoot because after they get your money well..
In my 60 plus years I have not gotten worse service ever and that says a lot.
The company must actively discourage communication with the customer.
The shed was scheduled to be delivered in 5 weeks, after 5 weeks and multiple attempts to contact anyone, I went back to the Home Depot thru which I made contact originally with TS and they began the process of putting me in touch with the regional agent. who contacted Chicago, who arranged for me to speak with another person in Colorado and back to the first gentleman finally the date for delivery was moved back 3 more weeks.

At the end of the time I received a call from a TS rep and told me that the next Monday the shed would be built since that was July 5th. I had my doubts, and sure enough the next morning I had a call from a young lady saying that the crew would be there in a half hour. Whoo Hoo.
the crew met with me and I asked them if they had everything. Yes , and they were to put the second coat of paint on to make up for the 3 extra weeks? well OK. and they had the vent screens to keep the mice out from the flooring? no.

After several hours of work they let me know that they had a problem that the metal roof to side wall trim was the wrong size and that they would need to return to finish the job.

So Three weeks later I was able to get in touch with a TS rep and they sent out a crew to finish the job. The trim they installed was the wrong color but it fit so now I have a circus tent looking shed.

I am supposed to sign off on a form stating that I am the owner of a shed for warranty purposes. however the form I am to sign states that I have a loft which I don't and I can't get the TS folks to change the form which they keep sending.

So to sum up if you have nothing better to do with your time or money and don't care about the final product then TS might be the ultimate experience.

Good Luck but seriously stay away from these folks.

What a joke, both my daughter and I went to tuff shed and what a nightmare. Starting with the permits. Got worse from there. We both have sheds that we can't use due to the waiting for someone to come out for the 3rd time to fix all the screw ups. This has been since June. My grandsons could have done a better job. Now lets talk about service there is none. The only service we got is we were having to pay for the shed before they even built it. I have had to hire an outside source to fix the shed so that I can use it. The shed is a 16X30, so yes I spent good money. My daughter her shed if that's what you want to call it, is a good size shed also, and has to come down and needs to be re-done. There is so many issues, don't know if the builders drink while they build. I have nothing good to say about tuff shed and would not have them build me nothing again. All I can say a nightmare!!!!! WISH I WENT SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT. THEY ARE NOT THE ONLY SHED COMPANY. tuff shed doesn't deserve the one star

Beautiful and well-built shed —- even matches my house colors. Gave at the Jacksonville office was easy to work with and very responsive. Would definitely recommend!
