Great Software

I've been using Tune Up utilities for 10 years now. This is, by far the best software for keeping your PC up and running at its best. it's easy to install and use. Cust support is always there, but not usually necessary.

not intuitive for this novice!

Firstly, the offer to buy was for a sale price of $24.95, yet it billed my credit card full price- how does that happen. Secondly, I've been attempting to kick start the tune-up but it's been "uninstalling for over an hour now and nothing has happened. I've shut down until I hear from tech support which is unwelcome 24 hours or more away. I am an admitted novice when it comes to technology but I can usual follow instructions but not this time.!

Tuneup is our new bff!

We were about to buy a new laptop. Then we read a review by the Schwabachers in our local paper, The Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
We immediately installed Tuneup. Immediate results noted, particularly speed, easier everything. Thank you Tuneup. You are our new best friend!

Couldn't sell a burger to a starving man

You might have a good product but the service is so shocking and useless you might as well not be in business.

So I buy the product. No problems. The money goes out of the account pronto. That is the most efficient part of the service for the company. They grab the money.

Now comes my end.

I copy and paste the key code. ****WRONG FUCKING CODE**** Input the right code.

So I cannot activate the product. I write to the support line to solve this problem. Here is their useless answer:

"The software publisher offers excellent support for any questions about the product itself. Many inquiries can be cleared up quickly and easily, so that you can use the software you purchased to the fullest."

Gee well that solved the problem quick smart.

I can smell bullshit and a scam when I see it. And this is just bullshit.

I will try to get a refund but I have so little trust in this company that the chances are this is just wasted money. Thanks Bill Gates for thieving money off poor people. It must make you feel really good scamming others to so you can live a flash lifestyle.

Tuneup is there to help you when your system bugs

The quickest way to solve appearance of windows and to clean register and get rid of broken short cuts.
Optimization of start-up and shutdown is an excellent feature, tries to help you understand the process.
Live optimization I never tried, sorry.
I love the undo function, that's missing in a lot of windows system programs. I have been using tuneup right from the beginning in 1997, a rudimentary program from Tibor Schiemann and Christoph Laumann from Germany. But it performed much better than Norton, and it made less unrecoverable mistakes in disk defragmenting, at that period!
Today there is only one draw back: it is slow in starting, to many features opening at a time.Checking performance is nice but who needs it at every start up???

So Far So Good, My 'Puter Seems To Be Rockin'

Just like my header indicates, so far so good. Now, when customer service returns the purchase price for the older version I accidenlty ordered and paid for prior to completeing the trial tune up, all will be well. I am an inexperienced user of these services and tend to stumble around with things. We shall see what we will see. I have made the request. Time will tell.
