It would just be better to use epic games launcher
Ubisoft is genuinely one of the worst gaming companies I have every used, Ubisoft Connect is extremely unoptimized on Xbox and on pc will randomly log you out. The application will bug out if I try to change the email address associated with my account and wont let me change it. Also games don't update unless the application is opened, even if you got the game from steam.
I would give 0 stars if i could
Wanted to verify my phone number
Wanted to verify my phone number, it didn't send a code and then just blocked me for a whole day. Absolute garbage.
Absolutte shit customer service
Absolutte shit customer service, using cheap AI responsen and being no help at all. Shame what this company has become
Absolute dogwater platform.bought…
Absolute dogwater platform.bought riders republic through steam and ubisoft asked activation key,i had to buy one for 8 euro, worst platform OAT
Kez Leven is lying
Kez Leven is lying because my account got hacked and they were very nice and not rude like what Kez said. They even upgraded me from a bot to a real agent to help me out and it only took 2 days just for them to kick off the hackers.
WELL DONE!
Terrible "support"
Terrible "support". They wanted to verify my ID to reset a password, but I did not have access to an older email for at least 9 years. I gave them all kinds of proof of who I was and how I'd purchased one of their games, and they kept giving me the same non-answers.
rude, dismissive and ineffective
They are rude, dismissive and ineffective .
so i ask them to change something on my account was told they couldn't and then belittled by telling me it wasn't possible, thing is it been changed before . it comes across as they are basically lying to customers to save work ..
Ubisoft
Ubisoft, most stupid company ever which takes stupid decisions against their players. There is a lot of loved series from them, and every is killed. AC, Far cry, R6, Prince of Persia, Beyond. Especially R6S, which i loved so hard but they decided to bring colorful skins with bunch of monetization

Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless, you can buy games but not play them,
Ubisoft Birth Date Change Issue
If I have to be honest about Ubisoft, their video games have really good games but their customer support is lacking and unprofessional. They're not able help to me change my birth date due to them accusing me of fraudulent activity and account sharing when it was given to me by my father who and he doesn't care about gaming and online in general. If there's improvement give us the option to actually change our birth date and not just the emails. If this keeps up i will no longer buy games from Ubisoft due to their unprofessionalism. I have been playing ubisoft games since late 2000s and up to this year while playing on PS3, PS4 and lastly PS5.
AI support at its best…
Case:
24558916
A purchase via Steam for an Ubisoft title.
Bought a game for £3.49 (with discount )… on clicking to play the Ubisoft title asked for Activation Code.
Spent weeks dealing with Ubisoft support. Asking for all sorts of log files, screenshots of purchase etc. that should be enough you would think…but no now screen shot of error messages !
Let’s not loose sight of this Wapping £3.49 purchase!… they can keep it and add it to their list of successful resolutions…
AI support…hopeless!
Customer service is useless
Customer service is useless and claims its human but its so obviously ai, ive been trying to play watch dogs 2 and followed all their trouble shooting steps and still just crashing at startup, worst experience ever.
Ubisoft connect ... ruining your gaming experience
Imagine if they actually fixed the issues with Ubisoft connect!? It's not worked for me for about a year now, probably longer. all workarounds (there's a lot of them on reddit!) don't work either... not that you should really need a workaround for a simple application to play a game you've BOUGHT!
Shame they aren't as good as steam.
Actively avoid games tarred with the Ubisoft name
Lost/Deleted Ubisoft Account + All Games
Buy at own risk! Your game is not owned by you.
Trying to replay some older HoMM games using Steam, they fail to authenticate with Ubisoft Connect. Somehow my original account is lost/deleted. I think due to inactivity.
Result: Lost access to all legally bought Ubisoft games currently in my Steam account.
Customer service are instructed to blow you off.
How in the world is this legal?
Useless AI support that claims its a person.
Lost all my seige progress and items, asked for support, got served by an AI that tried to convince me it was human.
(Even though it had multiple spelling mistakes, and kept telling me to do the same things.)
Kept asking for pictures that I had already sent before, and somehow expected me to keep pictures of my inventory and levels on me.
Why would I just randomly take pictures of my menu screen?
Absolutely useless, would give a zero if I could.
Do not contact their support.
Poor customer service and account retrieval methods
Updated Review as of November 4th of 2025.
I am glad to report they did in fact help with issues in a ...very delayed manner. However I will still advise strongly enable 2fa onto your account. Ubisoft's "Support" is a jumbled mess. They will not address your points more often than not and the only way to breakthrough is to constantly make support tickets until one of them is escalated and when an actual human at the support teams takes a look...Which is a complete mystery if any humans work in the offices in ubisoft any due to the amount of AI automated messages you will get for every support ticket.
Horrible services and programs
