I had an awful experience with this…

I had an awful experience with this company in their products this isn't the first time so I ended up doing my hair I had it at a level 10 which is like blonde very blonde which they say to be when you use their toners I bought the 10v toner mixed it with a 20 developer left it on for 10 minutes as it stats and my hair was blue/green afterwards I sent a picture to this fraudulent company they kept asking me questions I kept answering them I sent them pictures like I said they kept giving me the runaround asking me over and over the same damn questions in the end I asked for a refund because my hair didn't come out at all like they State I'm telling u go to sallys get the t18 or t14 those come out perfect I'll never ever again order from these people there name is true ugly it is and ugly the customer service is especially Diana

Dear June, I am truly sorry for your experience. The blue if it is light will wash off naturally in a couple of days. Our 10v toner does of course contain plenty of purple pigments - which is why it tones so well. Hair varies, and it is possible that yours is very light and fine and just tones very fast. In which case, I would suggest that you tone with 10 Vol next time. Our liquid toner works very well with 10 as well as 20 Vol. If you are seeing green, that would suggest that there was a lot of yellow still in the hair before toning. In which case, you may like to try the 10a natural ash blonde toner next time. It will be more suited to your situation.

I wanted to tone the gold tones in my hair so I used the blondify 10A Natural ash blonde with 20 volume developer & it did nothing at all to my gold tones. My hair was an 8 to begin with so I don’t know why it didn’t work. I was wanting a very light natural blonde with no gold tones. My natural undertones are gold so when I do go lighter, it brings out some of the goal times, especially by my roots, and I figured this toner would help but it did nothing.

Thank you for your review. It was really most helpful. The toner that you used is a non lifting toner and as such it needs to be applied on hair which is level 9 (yellow) or lighter. Looking at the product description we do accept that the instructions were not as clear as they might have been. To lift out very strong gold, may we suggest you use intense silver blonde 100B with 20 Vol toner. You would get plenty of lift out of that and you will be able to take your level 8 hair to a level 9/10 with no gold tones.

I ordered products in hopes of…

I ordered products in hopes of achieving the right color. No orange no yellow. That did not happen. I will take responsibility in my part of possibly doing something wrong. My main reason for 1 star is my order was missing a product. I have emailed over and over about this and have yet to get a response or my missing product. Very frustrating.

Dear Theresa, We have gone through your emails with us again. I note that you ordered the unit of 10.2 but we were unable to deliver as we were out of stock. Somehow that got lost among the other back and forth communication regarding your orange hair. We are refunding you for that product now. Please accept our apologies and hopefully you will give us a try again in the future. We are currently rather low in stocks due to heavier demand than forecast, but we should be back with most things next month.

I used the new liquid toner as I read…

I used the new liquid toner as I read it would work on the high lift colour for dark roots. I did exactly as the instructions stated. It did absolutely nothing to tone the colour of my hair. I was highly disappointed in both the high lift for dark roots and the suggested toner.

Dear Lisa, Very sorry to hear that you did not get the results expected. Please note that the new liquid toner you got is not a lifting toner. In general, it is better in such cases to consult with our customer service, uploading your before and after shots & explaining which products you used. In most cases they are able to guide you, troubleshoot and help you get the results that you want. That's what they're there for.

Products not delivered in Mexico (but company still reliable and responsive)

The company was reliable and fair along the process. After my complaint regarding products that were not delivered (in Mexico) the company returned all my money including the shipping. Thank you very much!

I hope to be able to buy again the same products once I visit the US. Thank you again.

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing for the third time to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the non-delivery of the product I ordered from your company. I trusted your company, placed the order, paid and was expecting to receive the product. However, despite the considerable time that has passed since then, the products have not been delivered and I was finally informed that they will be returned to the shipper as follows:

I regret to inform you that the guide contains restricted merchandise for entry into the country by parcel service.
In this case: 11 pieces of skin care products

They sent me the law that not allows these kind of products (liquid or cream) to enter Mexico :

I have made two previous attempts to contact your customer service department to inquire about a refund, but unfortunately, my concerns have not been adequately addressed. The lack of communication, the apparent lack of knowledge about your export markets and failure to provide any updates on the delivery status have left me extremely dissatisfied with your company's service.

Considering the circumstances, I kindly request an immediate resolution to this matter. I expect a full refund of the amount I paid for the product and delivery, as I still trust you are a serious and honest company. I believe that it is only fair for your company to reimburse me for the undelivered product, along with any additional expenses incurred as a result of this ordeal (the delivery fee).

I urge you to take swift action to rectify this situation and process the refund promptly. Failure to do so may compel me to explore other avenues to protect my consumer rights, including  sharing my negative experience through various online platforms and social media.

I can send the confirmation of your courier that your products cannot be delivered in Mexico and that they were returned to you. Please contact your courier if appropriate. I would appreciate your acknowledgment of this letter as soon as possible and a confirmation of the refund process.

I trust that you will take this matter seriously and handle it honestly. I hope for a prompt resolution that will restore my faith in your company's commitment to customer satisfaction.

It is very unfortunate that your order was refused by Mexico customs. This is new to us, as we have previously supplied customers from Mexico. As a precaution, we have "turned Mexico off" as a destination country, and will no longer ship products there.
Please don't worry about your product return. We do believe in treating our customers fairly. Our returns team do follow a process. As soon as your goods arrive at the warehouse, customer service will be notified. They will in turn notify you & reimburse your purchase.

Perfect Blonde Bombshell Color

I had tried for months to achieve the platinum blonde bombshell hair of my dreams, only to end up with damaged, rough lengths with crispy purple ends! Until I came across Ugly Duckling Color's offer of a free tube. I tried the intense pearl toner. My hair is now soft, silky and looks like-you guessed it-a pearl! After such outstanding success, I bought the bond protect shampoo and masque to care for my Jean Harlowesque locks, and I'm not disappointed. Thank you for making these amazing products! It washed out quickly and my hair…

It washed out quickly and my hair pulled a lot of the undertone in some areas but others than that I loved the color

Responsive and helpful service

Good responsiveness through all the issues I had ordering product.

Cant really put the whole of the wait time on you guys as FedEx messed up and then later my package was held for inspection.

Good products, wish you guys still had the little pack advertised in the white-blonde hair guide on the website but I made due without.

LOVE THIS!

Shipping was typical, which was nice. I love the product. My hair NEVER pulls or tones blonde. It's always an orangey yellow. I am now ash blonde, like I wanted. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!

Didn’t tone my hair and my blonde is a level 9/10

The intense silver blonde with 20v developer did nothing for my blonde. My husband doesn’t see a difference and neither do I. The one good thing is it doesn’t have a strong odor. I guess I’ll go back to T18
