Didn't explain ypu loose 80% if you cancel. In past have paid at hotel butbyhis time was asked to.pay up front.

Great company to deal with. Booking system was quick and easy. Caladonian Hotels are great value for money, with friendly helpful staff. I’ve booked holidays with them very many times and am never disappointed.

The hotel I stayed the Nelson great Yarmouth was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful especially Nikki the manager she made us very welcome she went the extra mile to make all the guests have an enjoyable time and when it was time to leave she gave us a lift to the station which saved us getting a taxi thats why I recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay in great Yarmouth.

The booking was very easy and the advisor with Ukbreakaways was very helpful. We arrived late to check in at the Burstin hotel, Folkstone, due to severe traffic congestion. I had my 90 year old Mother with me and upon arrival, I aprked the car outside reception in readiness to get my Mother inside the the hotel, bring our luggage through and finally check in. It was at this point chaos ensued, I queued for at least half an hour to be seen and when I presented my paper work, the Receptionist hurriedly processed our check in and was reluctant to answer a couple of queries I had. 1. As we were self drive, I asked where I can park the car. She quickly said straight ahead of reception and follow the signs. What she didn't tell me was the hotel charges £5 per day for parking. I naturally assumed staying as a hotel guest. Subsequently, we got a £100 fine a few weeks later, The Hotel is a very good mid range place to stay, I feel the reception staff should be more engaging and not in a hurry to move you on. The trip notice board could be more evident and have a better presence. Its tiny and not very clear, we only got more detail by talking to a coach driver outside. I appreciate the additional cost, but perhaps have a dedicated person who knows the trips, coach times and what to do in Folkstone and surrounding areas.

Booked with UK Breakaways many times now. Only ever had 1 problem & wanted to change hotels & was sorted straight away no problem, wasn’t any fault of UK Breakaways either.

Had a very good holiday break at the Bursting hotel Folkestone , however due to a nasty fall getting out of the bath the only place I could hold onto to was was the boxing on the top of the cysten, this was sealed on two sides with mastic but not secured. On holding the corner this collapsed ( due to faulty workmanship) . I collapsed on the floor wedged between the basin boxing toilet, bath and door, aged 83, it took me about half an hour to crawl out of the door. I Reported this to reception , they filled in a form gave me a plaster and cup of tea. Whilst the repairs to the bathroom were carried out immediately, there was no follow up by the hotel as to my well being. Apart from a cut,heavy bruising, pain, there was no other injuries
