UK Digital Cameras 

Just over a week ago I posted a glowing review for this company and said their service was 'as good as it gets'.
I was wrong. It is even better.
Without boring all with the intricate details I was not happy with the specification of the camera that I ordered and then with the alternative camera first recommended by ukdigitalcameras.
Holly was INCREDIBLY patient with me as I discussed the ins and outs of why and helped me return, receive credit and identify a suitable replacement.
So, as the title states, the service from ukdigitalcameras (and Holly in particular) was 'as good as it gets and then some!'. Superb.


My original order was lost by the courier.
When I contacted UKDigitalCameras (Holly) the problem was dealt with immediately. They processed the enquiry professionally and had a replacement camera sent out the same day delivered over night by Royal Mail Special delivery. Top notch.
Things can always g wrong with online orders but how a company handles those issues is a mark of their true quality.

UK Digital Cameras have incredibly polite and helpful staff (Holly was one of them). They dealt with my order very courteously and had what i wanted in stock and got it to the courier on the same day as ordering.
Also, they (UK Digital Cameras) beat everyone else on price... by a considerable margin, and I am not just talking by a few pounds- this was impressive!
Then when my camera arrived, they had very nicely included a free mini tripod. I had actually meant to order one of these but forgot, so the free gift was a very pleasant surprise.
I cannot praise this company enough.

I bought four cameras and part exchanged three cameras with UK Digital and I cannot fault them.It's a shame some other companies can't give the same service.I would certainly recommend this company as you will not be disappointed.

Holly was very helpful via live chat, email and phone. I was very impressed by the way they called me back when they realized that they had missed my call....how many companies do that!?!?

The website is easy to use and very informative, it has plenty of camera choice for all levels.
Ordering and delivery were both simple and hassle free, I ordered on a Friday and it was delivered the following Monday via DPD, DPD are the best courier service by a country mile!

I needed a camera for a family wedding and looked around before buying. I finally decided which one I wanted but been a man I left it far to late to order and get delivered on time, or so I thought. When I went on line to order it the delivery dates given were after the date of the wedding.
As a forlorn hope I rang UK Cameras. Holly who I spoke to was excellent. Not only was her style of customer service first class she actually went right out of her way to help, and managed to get the camera delivered to me by courier within two days of the order. In addition although I had paid for speedy delivery she actually got that cheaper than she had quoted and gave me a refund.
All in all the service from Holly was brilliant and I would recommend this company to any one.

Never used this company before but the reviews were good and they offered the best price for the lens I needed. I was given a delivery date for the item but circumsatnces changed and I need a quicker delivery. Unlike many companies I could communicate with them quickly and despite it being a bank holiday w/e they organised a next day delivery. Nothing was too much trouble and I was impressed by a high level of customer service and care that is increasingly difficult to find with internet purchases. I will certainly buy from them again and would highly recommend this company

What can I say!
I've been looking for a camera for some time now. I initially wanted one for when I was going away for a few days but my indecision meant I went without on this occasion. I seen the Canon SX510 online, and the prices UK Digital Cameras were offering were very competitive.
I'm awful at making decisions as it is, and with being a new customer and not knowing a lot about photography, I thought I'd email them before paying out a lot for an expensive camera. Probably didn't need to after reading so many positive reviews.
So I used the online 'message' facility I message UKDC.
My message was sent on 17 April, the day before a bank holiday but after their closing hours. So I didn't expect a reply until atleast the following Tuesday (22 April). However by the 19 April, I'd had a reply back (very good customer service - Thanks to Holly for the prompt response).
Still, I couldn't make up my mind so the search continued (not due to the response received, just me and my inability to decide on things).
Eventually after I returned from my break, I decided I had to make a decision at some point.
Still unsure about the camera (again due to my lack of knowledge), I decided to use the 'live chat' option.
Using this, I got an immediate response to my questions (within seconds of pressing 'send')and also had alternatives suggested that met the criteria of camera I was looking for (again, thanks to Holly for the replies and advice).
Following this, I needed convincing no more and placed an order for my SX510.
I ordered this on Thursday lunchtime (12noon). As my break had gone by, there was no urgency in getting the camera, so opted for the cheaper delivery, but still expected within 1 week (very reasonable). An email confirmation of my purchase was received immediately.
By 2:15pm, I had received an email to say my purchase had been dispatched. Then by 3:20pm, the courier had emailed (and text) me to say my item would be delivered the very next day. I then had a text this morning to give me a 1 hour time slot for delivery. Very impressive process all round.
Not had chance to play with the new camera yet, but then again, not knowing what the different settings will do just yet, I suspect I will be using the 'auto' mode quite a bit for now!
Would definitely recommend this company, and would use again myself in future!

I have just purchased another Panasonic camera from them, the new TZ60. I traded in my last years purchase and they gave me a good trade in price against a good price on the new one. Holly is a real star and a credit to the company, she is very helpful and gets things sorted. Great delivery times too. I will always use UK Digital Cameras as should you....I highly recommend you to..you won't be disappointed.

Spoke to Holly in the UK Digital camera sales office, a very easy transaction plus the delivery was made at the time promised. All in all a first class service.

Best customer service ever. I ordered a gopro but misread the delivery info and didn't select express service which meant my new toy would not arrive before i was going off on holiday. My fault completely.

However, an email to customer service later, i had a reply from Holly saying they had upgraded my order free of charge so that i would get my gopro in time to take on holiday.

Would wholeheartedly recommend UK Digital Cameras. It's rare to get such great customer service. I'm still grinning at the thought of my gopro coming away with me :-)

Having researched “super zoon” cameras and decided on the Finepix HS50EXR, I then wanted to find the best price for a UK supplier with good feedback, this led me to UK Digital Cameras.
I have to agree with other reviewers, their service is second to none; I phoned to ask a couple of questions which were promptly answered by Holly so went ahead and ordered the camera.
I opted for the 3 to 5 day delivery but was pleasantly surprised when I found the camera was to be delivered the following day, ordered at 13.00 delivered at 10.00 next day!
Oh yes, the camera is superb too!

After deciding which digital camera to buy, I needed to make up my mind where to buy it from. I'm pleased I chose UK Digital Cameras. I have to give 5 stars all round for value, speed of delivery and communication. I can't think of any aspect of the transaction which even mildly disappointed me, their level of service is excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending UK Digital Cameras.

Google searched the product to find best price and came up with UK Digital Cameras. Didn't know anything about them, but came on trustpilot to see how they fare. Seems all positive reviews. Rather than buying on line, i called through to see if i would get the Magical Holly. Well i Did and she was as good and accommodating as all the reviewers have said! She arranged for special next day delivery, and what a saleswoman, managed to sell me some additional products. First class service from beginning to end...
UKDC are very competitively priced and I would normally expect there to be a catch, but not with UKDC!
My product arrived well packaged and exactly as described.
Although the camera was out of stock at the time of order I was assured it would be with me in a couple of days and sure enough it was.
I was able to track my order on line using UKDC free delivery service and I knew within the hour what time it would be delivered and even the drivers name! Needless to say my camera arrived on time and in perfect condition.
I'm happy to recommend UKDC to anyone looking to make their next purchase.

A very, very competitive price for the Sony RX100, and extremely favourable reviews for UK Digital Cameras, led me to buy the Sony for use alongside my Nikon DSLR. I cannot be more pleased with the compact camera and the level of service I have received from the company. I opted for the economy, free delivery, being quite prepared to wait the extra few days. However, when the likely dispatch date was going to clash with a potential holiday I rang UKDC. The very helpful Holly worked her magic and arranged courier delivery the day after I rang. You cannot better that! I rate the whole online buying experience as absolutely first class, beyond excellent. Thank you. MJM.

Good customer service, but received a non UK spec Sony rx100 from them which was obviously a Hong Kong import (in camera menu in Chinese, etc) Not advertised as such. I sent it back and to be fair, they quickly refunded me. If buying double-check with them that you are getting a UK spec camera and not an imported model, etc.

Despite me having a little problem that was 100% my doing. UKDC came through for me with flying colours.
