From the moment Martin and Jack got to the house to do the work, I knew it would be an excellent job.
First of all they explained the process again and everything that would be involved.
The length of time to do the work and what to expect.
They have been professional throughout, explaining each part of the job as they were going along.
For the amount of upheaval, drilling, plastering etc, they have endeavoured to keep as much as possible the level of dust and dirt to a minimum.
They have cleaned up after themselves every day and been incredibly polite.
Their standard of work is to the highest level and they constantly checked over their work and ensured, as a family, we had the least possible disruption to our daily routine.
Their level of work, attitude and finished product is something to be desired.
They are a credit to the company they work for and I'm more than happy to recommend them and their company

Have had a lot of issues with this company from when the heating was installed at the start of the year. I will however only explain my experience with my most recent issue with the company.
I reported my complaint via the website as advised by an agent at UKEM. My heating and hot water stopped working. This complaint was sent off to UKEM and I got a call from an engineer who worked for the company the next day to see if the issue could be rectified over the phone. It could not. We were then left for 8 days with no heating whatsoever. Took them 8 days to send out alternative heating so me and my daughter could stay warm in our house….in the middle of winter.
We were told numerous times it had to be us to contact the other companies about the heat pump as it was a part in it that had broke and that UKEM couldn’t do anything about it. To then be told by those said companies it was in fact UKEM that had to organise an engineer coming out. So essentially wasted time, time that could’ve been spent organising an engineer to come out.
We were told by UKEM that a part for the heat pump would be sent out as a priority by the evening of 02/12/25, at the very latest 03/12/25. This part was not delivered until 05/12/2025, 3 days after being promised this was getting sent out ASAP. The initial engineer that was supposed to come out to fix the issue had unfortunately broke down. These things can’t be helped, but no other engineer was sent out for another 4 days. Took a total of 12 days to actually send out an engineer to fix the heat pump. 12 days without the heating that was installed by UKEM to be fixed and 12 days before we had any hot water again.
We were told over and over again that it was being looked into as a priority. How is waiting 8 days for alternative heating seen as urgent, and how is 12 days to actually fix the heat pump seen as urgent?
The engineers that eventually came out managed to fix the heat pump, but they have since found out that the engineers who originally fitted the heat pump, did the wiring wrong. So I am now having to wait even longer for someone else to come out to sort that.
This company doesn’t seem to communicate well as there were multiple people involved in this complaint, some of those who weren’t really sure why they were being contacted. UKEM even asked if WE were willing to ask the sub contractors if they were happy sending the invoice to UKEM to be paid. How is that at all professional.
Have since been told that other customers have been experiencing the same issue as myself, the heat pumps breaking, and it taking a silly amount of time for it to be fixed. To live in a house with a nearly 2 year old and to have no heating or hot water and it not to be fixed for nearly 2 weeks, it really shows just how little this company cares for its customers health and wellbeing.
I have made a complaint about this to the company.
An apology is nowhere near acceptable enough for the stress I have had to go through with this company.

20th october had work done on EC04 grant , where to start .
Damage to my roof was left for 6 weeks with water coming into my loft from the broken tiles and the lead flashing lifted to instal solar panels fob off for weeks deny they did the damage 7 crack or broken tiles.Solar storage heaters !! 1 was installed but not set up correctly the other one was put in my bedroom where it was sated that storage heaters are not suitable but they did put one in the room and not a Solar powered heater which did not work at all and till the Elnur gabarron engineer came and checked the heaters only to be told that again not a suitable bedroom heater and that it was an obsolete model that they no longer make and not solar powered , I have had to switch it off as so expensive .
Scaffholding was left up for 5 weeks covering my and my neighbours windows constantly asked for them to be removed only to be fobbed off !!
Terrilbe wiring done on 2 extractor fans the kitchen one was wired from my main light with 3 pieces of trunking ziz zagging across my ceiling , the other 1 in the bathroom was wired directly into the mains and runs 24/7 so that is now also switched off .
Customer service advisors are inept due to lack of knowledge and understanding of the job .
4 different people on my complaint no one knew what the other one ahd said previousley.
The outcome is that we have paid for a private roofing company to do the repairs and as I am writing this an electrcian is in my house correcting all the bad wiring .
My feeling is that i am very grateful to the goverment for the grant to try and help me keep warm during the winter and it annoys me that UKEM are getting paid 1000s of pounds of tax payers money to do such a terrible job .I have had weeks of e mails and phone calls mostly made by me which has been very stressful I am a 75 year old lady living alone it is not right to allow UKEM to continue EC04 work .
Update since writing ths review as if by magic UKEM are now trying to contact me by txt phone and e mails finny thing is in over the last 7 weeks they could,nt do this i made 11 phone calls totaling 125 minutes and 26 e mails to little to late in my opinion !!

The process was explained throughout and people turned up when they were meant to.
This has helped us achieve something as a family we would never have been able to afford. It’s meant our home energy rating has improved and we are not worrying about running out of oil.

9 months ago they installed a new hatch as part of a bigger project. Today my loft is being decked by a carpenter so it can be used as storage. He went up to start the work and whoever had fitted the new hatch had also cut through supporting beams and just left them. Which means that if anyone had attempted to get up into the loft, they would have just fallen through the ceiling. I’m so vexed and will be on to this company on Monday when they open. It was shoddy workmanship and frankly very dangerous. Resulting in me being another couple of £100 out of pocket trying to correct it
