UK MAIL/DHL THEFT FROM PACKAGE
A uk mail driver delivered an empty box to my home on 24th september 2020, i noticed it was very light so looked at the box and could see it had been opened from the back and the contents (perfume for £72) had been taken from it. I told the driver and the driver just told me to contact the company of which i did within moments providing a picture as evidence. Im now fighting to get my refund through my credit card company as paypal closed the case because id recieved the empty box and there is no way to report this theft to uk mail or DHL. I have however reported it to action fraud as a crime because that is what theft is.

First time I have used tackleuk and was very impressed, managed to find the items in stock compared to other well known tackle shops. Delivery was within two days and well packed. Liquid items were sealed in bags to prevent leakage. I will definitely use again
Reliable business
I've used Tackleuk for sometime now; originally for my sea fishing tackle, but after receiving excellent service on a consistent basis, I am now using Tackleuk to supply a complete set up of course fishing equipment. When you are about to spend thousands of pounds, it's critical that you have full trust in the company you are dealing with. Also, I cannot fault DHL; the driver is always on time, and the communications i have received when delivery times have slightly changed; is second to none. overall, a magnificent business partnership; well done, Im more than satisfied.

Worst service iv ever seen
Firstly on Mon the tracking said will arrive on Friday 18th which is not a problem . Then it was attempted to be delivered on Tue 15th with no warning. No card put through the door the only reason I knew was my security camera activated. So I booked a slot for Wed 16th and nothing arrived after waiting in all day.
They don't answer the phone just an automated answer machine telling you what you can already see on the not helpfull tracking site.
Please avoid using them.

I have back problems and since coronavirus pandemic started your drivers have an excuse not to bring it to my flat's door, property has a lift. I made a complaint before and I was told that it's in a 'DRIVER'S DISCRETION' to decide if they will bring the item to your door or not and the answer is 'NO, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED, CORONAVIRUS'.
I was just dragging the box of 20.5 kg, my back hurts now.

Carp Reel Purchase
Being new to carp fishing, I spent some time trawling google to find a suitable reel. Having taken advice I purchased an Okuma Carbonite 155a from TACKLEUK. The web site was great with lots of choice and easy to negotiate around. Unlike some other sites which offered the reel at similar price only to find they had none in stock. Having found TACKLEUK, I shall be using them again. The reel and other bits were dispatched quickly and arrived within a couple of days. Great service, delivery and product. I would recommend the company.

How this company is still afloat ill never know, as someone who uses UKMAIL to send to customers. they turn up hours late EVERYTIME and some times dont bother coming at all.

The service from UK Mail is absolutely shambolic. They have lost or damaged thousands of pounds worth of my parcels which they won't insure because I sell food. The courier often does not collect my parcel which means I have to drop it off at the depot myself.
I have a business account with UK Mail and i'm sure you're asking why don't I change company. Well I am in the process of attempting to do so now. I do have to make a cost benefit calculation though. Will the potential savings in less lost goods outweigh the cost of the service.
I suppose you get what you pay for, cheaper parcels, crappier service.

I am absolutely shocked at how long it is taking for simple mail to get to the USA from the UK over the past few months . Birthday cards for example are taking 4+ weeks from Wolverhampton to Jacksonville Florida . This pandemic has been used as an excuse for simply shoddy Customer Service & there have been no apologies or reduction in price for this . Extremely disappointing ..... since it is taking 4-5 times as long to get mail to the USA at least for now the price should be reduced considerably ..
Irresponsible
Had a parcel sent by a relative through DHL/UK Mail. It was the 8th time they sent a parcel to this exact same address the exact same way, since I moved to Scotland due to work weeks before the quarantine started, and am now needing some house and personal goods. The last parcel contained, among other things, an air purifier valued at 80£ and an item of high sentimental value that does not have material value but is completely irreplaceable and belonged to the love of my life that is now deceased. I was informed that the parcel would be delivered within 48h. 48h have passed and no message or attempt of contact was made. Checked the delivery status online, and it stated "we haven't been able to locate the delivery address". The same address that was used 8 times in the past. I tried contacting UK Mail to give the address that is written in the parcel, and got a reply saying that I cannot change the address. ???? I was giving the address again, that was suposed to be the issue witholding the delivery. There wasn't any attempt to deliver the parcel or to correct the issue, they updated the status and that's it, the end for their service. So now I'm just supposed to shrug my shoulders and forget about the parcel and its invaluable contents? This is supposed to be a serious delivery company, not a roullette game!! It is also very interesting that the only parcel that gets lost is the one with an air purifier during an airborne pandemic. UK Mail, get responsible with your service!!! People don't just forget about a parcel!!!

If you can send your parcel with other company- do it. This company completely have no respect. We were using them for months, but the last 2 months were absolute nightmare.They collect your parcels, and then can't alocate them next day. Customer service tries look for that, but how you can find parcel on the phone?Parcels are missing or stolen and thats the end. As they rejecting all the claims. Or offering you £10 per kg with claim fee of £55. The manager doesn't provide phone number just email. For response need to wait for few days or more. And then they sending you letter ,no matter that you choose to communicate via emails.
Its very comfortable steal parcels as there is no compensation system. We allways ordering next day delivery, but just 50% parcels arrives Next day. The last day we ordered collection, and just 70% parcels were delivered. 20% lost or been stolen. Company do not care about customers, and if you can, avoid using them.

Whilst on vacation in somerset in july 2020 decided to purchase a new pole.
After a serious web search decided on buying the said pole from Tackleuk.
At the time I was unaware that they were only 20+ miles away from me and asked them if a collection would be ok and also to save there postage costs,the emails were answered promptly as phone service not operating due to covid19.
My request was accepted and they kept me informed all the way along from start to finish with updates as to when the pole was being delivered from manufacturers and a collection date.
Which turned out to be 3 days ahead of the original delivery date.
The service was absolutely excellent from all concerned at Tackleuk including the guy's in the warehouse who had my item ready and waiting for me on collection,using social distancing measures of course.
I can only say what a pleasure it's been doing business with Tackleuk and from my experience would have no hesitation to use them for any other items.
Taking into account the delivery time from manufacturers and the designated delivery date to me using couriers or mail they would still have been on or before the date first est.
Excellent service.
