Misleading and Deceptive Return Practices

I recently purchased a laptop hard cover from UniqFind. Upon receiving the item and observing various imperfections with the finishings, I contacted customer service to return the item. The company's policy states that returns are allowed within 30 days unless the item is "used."

Instead of processing my return, the customer service representative instructed that I try the case on again and to provide video / photographic evidence of the case applied to my laptop. I understood this as meaning they wanted evidence of my concerns with the finishing so I complied with their request. This led the representative to reverse course, stating that because I had "tried on" the case, it was now deemed "used" and ineligible for a return.

This seems misleading at best and deceptive at worst because the customer service representative explicitly advised me to try on the case and submit photo evidence, knowing that I was looking to return the product. Why else would they advise that other than to void my return eligibility? Also, UniqFind's return policy is far from clear about this. I don't think everyday consumers equate a momentary fitting to "used".

Disappointing, flimsyproduct

This was a very disappointing product. I bought an attractive case, that fell apart and ripped with minimum wear. I do not recommend cases from this company.

Item and packaging arrived damaged

Item and packaging arrived damaged beyond use because they use a simple envelope to mail a sticker that is supposed to lay flat on a computer. Completely unusable and when I reached out the company they told me their packaging was fine and that it was still usable despite the photos I provided. Completely useless and defective.

Don't buy from Uniqfind

I had heard enough bad reviews about the uniqfind case to not make the mistake of buying it, but I thought getting the skins for both my iPad Air 11" and my Apple Pencil Pro would be fine underneath a reliable case.
Besides the fact that the shipping took forever, with my package just sitting for days, when my skins arrived, the iPad Skin I ordered didn't even come because they sent me the completely wrong color.
I had waited too long for my skins to arrive, and just decided that the leopard skin they had sent me (instead of the cranberry and cream stripe skin I ordered) would have to work. I put it on, and while the skin fit the back of my iPad fine, the small border strip they sent was too large by a few centimeters, so that I would either have excess hanging over the edge, or make it fit the edges and have my camera covered. Besides this little detail, the border strip is also entirely incompatible with a screen protector, unless you like your whole screen to be a big bubble.
Finally I put the skin on my pen, and all I can say is that the sticker is junk. It's been like two or three days and it's already coming off.
Because of this, I tried to contact Uniqfind, hoping for at least a slight refund for the inconvenience of receiving the wrong skin and not having it measured to fit my iPad. When I did this, they asked for me to send them pictures of the case and to make sure I ordered the right size of skin for my iPad. While I could do both of those things, and show the fault was entirely on their side, I don't feel like jumping through hoops just to get a probably miniscule portion of what I spent. The bottom line? Do not purchase from them. Easily the worst fifty dollars I have ever spent.

Poor product, waste of money

I purchased a Macbook matte case a few months ago. It looked great, but started chipping apart within 6 weeks without cause. As others have reported here and elsewhere, the cases are extremely poor quality. Customer service sent me a new case as a "one time" exception, but I anticipate it's only a matter of time before it falls apart too. Lastly, there is no where to leave this review on Uniqfind's website, which suggests all of the positive reviews there are fake. Avoid this company, otherwise, you're wasting your money on a cheap, short lifespan product.

Ordered the crocodile case

Ordered the crocodile case. It is cheaply made and the bottom part of the plastic is jagged and scratches my arm. When I reached out to them, they said that's the way all cases are made and there was no remedy.

Nice design BUT I DON'T recommend

Short version: Bought a Matte MacBook Case
1 month in and it cracked in 2 spots and a small piece fell off from VERY gentle use. I DON'T recommend. But design matches images online.

I bought a laptop case and received it about a month ago. I was motivated to try the company because the design is done in Canada. I was aware that the manufacturing happened elsewhere (China) but still wanted to support a business that employs Canadians. In the past I've purchased other laptop cases from other businesses such as amazon and the quality of the materials is unfortunately better in the ones I had gotten from them (amazon). The advantage with Uniqfind's laptop is the design, but it has already started to crack and some small pieces have fallen off, which seems ridiculous considering the use I've gotten out of it. The texture of the case is interesting but it accumulates fingerprints that are quite hard to remove. Also the Apple logo is cut out, which means the laptop is susceptible to scratches in that spot.
Additionally, their website shows reviews, however you can't leave one on it (even with an account)... So it seems they pick and choose the reviews they show on their site...

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Slow and unhelpful responses. Customer support phone number goes directly to voicemail which essentially states that calling is useless. Email response was slow and provided zero support in resolving an issue with my order. This company charges a premium for a product that is offered by numerous other retailers. This is not a unique product and I’d encourage others to shop elsewhere for a better customer support experience.

0 STARS! CROOKED MACBOOK SKINS.

I ordered a MacBook skin on January 15th, and after a long wait, the product arrived with clear manufacturing defects—the pieces were cut unevenly and were too long, making a proper fit impossible. Despite sending multiple photos of the defect and confirming my exact MacBook model, customer support (Maria) continues to stall by asking for video documentation and questioning if other parts fit. I have made it clear that I do not want a replacement due to the quality issues and the long delay, yet they are refusing to process a simple refund. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

THEY NEVER EVEN READ MY REVIEW, INSTEAD...

After promising delivery and not receiving my laptop cover, I discovered that my order was sent to upstate New York! The address wherein I live, and made my order, is in CALIFORNIA! Alas the package finally arrived.

There were no instructions on the easiest way to lay it out on my laptop. I tried my best yet the PAPER cover kept bunching up leaving air bubbles and creases all over. My attempt to carefully lift the paper cover to smooth out the bubbles and creases was futile and incredibly frustrating. In the end I wadded it up and threw it in the trash.
Had I known that, for the ridiculous price, I was sent a paper cover with glue adhesive, I would have NEVER placed my order.
NOW HERE'S THE KICKER:
After this bogus operation received the aforementioned message, it became obvious that they never even read my review...rather THEY SENT ME A 10% COUPON FOR MY NEXT ORDER!!!

Not worth the money

I purchased this case in Dec. 2023, and by Jan 2026, the case has multiple cracks, broken edges, and has simply started to deteriorate. I carry my macbook pro in a padded case, and am not carrying it around an awful lot, so this amount of damage occurring from just carrying it in a padded laptop case inside a larger laptop bag, is ridiculous for the cost of the cover. I would have expected far more years of use before it started chipping and breaking. You can get a cheaper laptop cover of the same aesthetic and quality somewhere else. It also adds a bit more weight to your laptop. It's not worth the cost of the cover.

U.S. customers: return costs are unreasonable

I ordered a Matte MacBook case from Uniqfind, but the color in person didn’t match how it was described online. I then ordered two more, only liked one, and decided to return the other two.

I checked the return policy before purchasing and only saw that I had 30 days to return unopened/unused products, so I assumed a normal, affordable return process for a U.S. customer.

Instead, I was told I had to pay to ship the returns back to Canada, even though my order shipped from Buffalo, NY, and the return shipping was quoted at $50–80, which is a huge percentage of the product cost.

The policy may technically require returns to go to Canada and say shipping is non‑refundable, but this isn’t made clear in a practical way at checkout for U.S. buyers. The high return cost makes it very hard to return items you’re not satisfied with, so I wouldn’t order from Uniqfind again.

RETURNS ARE ON YOU!

Returning this item is EXPENSIVE and on your dime! Uniqfind does not provide a return label nor offer to pay for shipping. Using the cheapest shipping method still costs $50, which is the exact cost of the item. I would not place an order unless you are certain to keep it, otherwise, you are on your own.

Company is a scam

Company is a scam, they shipped my first case in what looked like powered sugar and some weird coating I could not remove they sent me a new case and it cracked within 2 weeks of sitting on my desk reached out to customer service and they accused me of doing it and told me they would not replace it because I damaged it. Doing a charge back through my bank complete garbage and scam company.

Beautiful laptop case but easily damaged

Beautiful laptop case, but all 4 corners broke out within a year. My 16" M4 was stored in a laptop sleeve and only taken out to use on desktop.

Uniqfind support said they had no policy for replacing damaged cases.

Didn't last 3 months

The non-slip texture was useful. However, the plastic cover started to crack and crumble after a few months. I work remotely and I rarely travel with my laptop. Not worth the money. I have to order a new cover.

Hardshell macbook pro cover was fragile…

Hardshell macbook pro cover was fragile and lasted less than a month despite being gentle broke in multiple places with little use - How these have received so many positive reviews is beyond me (especially when you cant find anywhere to actually review the site).
