Great selection of carpets. We chose one for our bedroom which we had just been refurbished. Carpet fitter was booked and came on time. Carpet fitted with no issues and we’re very happy with it.
Fitters were courteous and tidy in their work.
Had a number of carpets from United and always get a good deal.

The sail person was very helpful and worked out how much flooring was needed.The fitter that did it with the cut out that was allowed for saved three boxes which they refunded me the full amount which they was not obliged.

I was initially happy with the showroom…
I was initially happy with the showroom experience, lots of choice and competitive prices, however when the carpets were fitted I was left with between three and four hundred pounds worth of carpet that was surplus,,,no one could ever convince me that with all of their years of experience they couldn't have measured up more accurately.Therefore in the end I couldn't help feeling that i was ripped off.

Dreadful experience
Dreadful experience. Turned up want enough carpet. Disappeared off site. Carpet fitting for a TINY flat took 2 days. Only used because my regular carpet fitter was away. NEVER EVER AGAIN !!!

Excellent service and choice
Things happen for a reason.
After recently giving United carpets a one star, only due to not receiving our rugs . I am delighted to give them a 5 star rating as the rug that wasn’t done wouldn’t have fit any way.
A lovely gentleman called Daz came out and measured the rug we wanted for our front door and due to there not being enough room for the door to open if the rug was down we decided not to have the rug . We are delighted with the other three rugs that were made to measure and whipped and would highly rate people doing what we did as you can choose from the range of carpets and have your very own rug made .

Flawless Flooring From Start to Finish
From the very beginning, the process was relaxed, thorough, and supported when needed.
I started my flooring journey in-store, where I was welcomed to explore at my own pace. I wandered happily through row after row of carpets and vinyl, taking in all the options before deciding to ask for advice — which was kindly offered, never pushed.
By this point, I already had a clear vision: I wanted to match the existing flooring in other parts of my home. Thanks to their system, my previous purchases from eight years earlier were quickly retrieved on the computer, confirming the exact carpet and vinyl names — which made everything so much easier.
Next, I booked a home estimator to measure the areas, which included stairs, landings, and irregular-shaped rooms. The Managing Director arrived exactly when promised, provided a clear quote for materials and fitting, and we agreed an installation date that suited me perfectly (even offering an earlier slot, though the following Friday worked best).
Two days before fitting, I removed the old flooring myself and disposed of it at the local council recycling depot — a small task in the overall process.
Come installation day, the fitters arrived on time and worked efficiently and professionally. Within just a few hours, they had fitted new carpet to the bedroom, stairs, all landings, and even inside a small cupboard. The bathroom and toilet had brand new vinyl too. They left the area tidy, taking away all their tools and equipment.
After clearing the surplus offcuts and waste myself, I was left with stunning new floors and that wonderful ‘new home’ feeling.
I couldn’t be happier with the entire service — friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and expertly delivered.
