Highly recommend - a stress free experience.
Helpful salesman in Mexborough/Swinton Sth Yorkshire store and carpet well fitted and on date promised. This was for my mother and the salesman helped us choose the right carpet for the job. The carpet fitter cut up the old carpet for easier removal for us and offered help moving heavy items back in afterwards. Overall a stress free experience - would definitely recommend.

Staff were super helpful, friendly and didn't make me feel pressured into buying. Fitters and delivery guys were efficient and friendly too. UC were recommended by a friend and I would recommend them to my friends any time. First class!

Advised to clear room for an early…
Advised to clear room for an early morning fitting, fitters turned up at 1830 and told me they were working for the Rotherham store until 4pm... So no way they could have done it as advised.

We've used the Mexborough branch twice now and can highly recommend them.

Consistently 5 Stars!
We started redecorating and re-flooring, room by room, two years ago and have purchased all of our new carpets, Lino and laminate from UC Swinton S Yorkshire. We usually know what we want before we go in store - the colours and textures are as true as they can be in the photos on the website. We can wander round the showroom, unhampered by pressurising sales assistants but I know they’re there if we need advice.
The customer service is polite, supportive and friendly. I have been shown a lot of patience when I have presented my little drawings of our rooms with my measurements!
The fitters have been purposeful, tidy and efficient.
Would thoroughly recommend and will be purchasing again soon for the next room!

Very poor management
bought some laminate flooring from this shop and also had it fitted. After the job was done I have 4 unopened boxes that I wanted to return but the Shop's manager said he can't receive them as that was a special worder. NOBODY has told me from the beggining that it's not returnable (I ordered by my measurements and ordered more to make sure it's enough).
The manager was very rude saying I should have read the signs on the walls..btw, the shop is full of posters and signs. I told him that the staff member that sold me the laminate should have mentioned and then I would have asked for them to do the measurements so I don't get stuck with 10m2 of laminate. It is the first time when I buy something that I can't return! NEVER AGAIN buy from this shop.
The manager's attitude was unacceptable...the lady behind the desk laughing at me being upset with the situation....WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Excellent service
Staff left me alone to browse. I went in 3 times altogether before ordering. I chose a wool carpet which is beautiful. I chose the best quality most expensive underlay as this will help with the feel and wear of the carpet, I know this from previous experience I thought the cost was right for what I have bought. The salesman was friendly and helpful. The fitters were friendly, respectful, clean and tidy. Altogether I am pleased with my carpet and experience. I am going there again for my next carpet.
