I was after a special Pearl Anniversary gift for my parents,and came across this,once looking threw all options and making my choice i placed my order,simple,quick and easy..
delivery was quick and packaging..when opening up i was not disappointed..
i gave it my parents on the day and to say gobsmacked would put it lightly,they was overwhelmed with the whole package,couldnt believe it.so to my this was the perfect buy,it was presented well,packaged well,they love the paper weight,an documentation,certificate everything...so Thank you very much.

One bug bear, the postage and packing was not clear. Only found out the cost when you had decided on your product and then had no option but special delivery.

We purchased this star, to mourn the loss of our baby boy, i am a mother of four children so i am sure you can understand money is tight, so to pay £50 for something you expect quality, i was disappointed with the overall product. the packaging was excessive for what it was,the the certificate was poor quality and the frame was poorly fitted, and the engraving on the paperweight was shallow and heard to read . If i had known what the quality would of been like i would of most certainly bought the cheapest option instead of falling for the sales pitch and paying more for added so called "luxury extras".

Myself and my partner and were looking for the perfect gift to give his father and the best way to remember his mum who is sadly no longer with us. The name a star fitted in perfectly and lets us memorialise his mum in something that will last a lifetime and beyond. Thank you for making it do easy to purchase this gift and thank you for helping make our day even more special. I will definitely be recommending the site to anyone who wants to name a star and also will be using again in the future.

I didn't feel this star registration product was worth the money paid.

Firstly, the star I registered was part of the Canis Minor constellation. But when the pack arrived it contained errors in the paperwork - the registration certificate said Canis MAJOR, not Minor, while the cover note said Minor. This was awkward as this product was a present and I had to get the certificate replaced.

Secondly, a CD is included with some star-finding software. But there are no instructions provided on how to find 'your' star which has been purchased. The software's own instructions are unclear and I was unable to work out how to enter the star's co-ordinates in a way that enables you to find it via the software and then in the night sky.

Basically, a bit of extra effort on behalf of the company in terms of a simple, step-by-step guide to finding your star is needed, otherwise the whole pack is pretty useless.

I bought a star for my boyfriend for his 21st as I had no idea what to get him!! He loved it and is such a unique gift!!! So happy with it!! I got him the silver pack and the paper weight is fabulous!! A great piece !!

I found this service brilliant! The ordering, and receiving of the documents were both simple and fast. The receiver of this gift especially loved the certificate and the old fashioned style of the papers. Already planning the next gift!

everything promised was recieved, however I tried to contact the company as I needed help but there was never any answer! I ended up buying another gift and not giving the star! :o(

I named a star after my nan when she died in February 2012, I used Universal Star Registry as it was one of the first sites that came up in my web search.
The certificates were lovely, although £5 per extra one I thought was a complete rip off.
The CD ROM thing that came with the certificates didn't work so was a complete waste of time and the seat didn't come with anything else. Overall I thought it was totally over priced and took advantage of peoples good nature in wanting to remember loved ones.
I bought my husband a star gift set a few years ago from another online retailer which was much better value for money.
I wouldn't recommend Universal Star Registry at all and I would suggest giving them a miss and using someone who actually provides you with something of value for your money!

I registered a star for a little girl i know, to celebrate her Christening and first birthday. I wanted to get her something unique and this was a lovely gift that she can keep forever. I selected the bronze package which included a certificate and an engraved keyring. Super speedy delivery, ordered on a Thursday night and it arrived Saturday morning.

The only trouble I had was when I wanted to log in to the website to review my order, my username, password and reference number were not been recognised by the website. I emailed customer services to see if there was anything I could do and how my order was.

I received an email back in about 30 minutes saying the numbers I had were correct so they couldn't think why it wasn't working but they said my order was been processed and should be sent the next day. It was and I received it a couple of days later.

I had no other problems and was very impressed with their quick response.

lived up to expectations - and the person who recieved the gift was over the moon or should I say over the stars! :-)

the set was package nicely and the certificate looked expensive. It came quickly and was exactly what i had hoped for. i only wish it contained a picture or a star wheel or something to make the star more real.

The star package purchased was sent on time to the right destination well wrapped as promised!

Ordered this for my Girlfriends 21st birthday and was delighted with the speedy delivery and quality of the product.

Everything arrived as described, and in perfect condition.
