Really excellent service from Aaron today. He was knowledgeable, and gave very clear explanations of gait analysis and shoe options. Wasn’t in a rush to make a sale. Will come here again when we next need running shoes.

I visited Nottingham's store to get my first pair of quality running shoes with no knowledge of what to look for and Emma was so helpful and found me a great pair for my first race. Thank you!

I went to the branch in Basingstoke today as I’m new to running and was recommended Up & Running by ChatGPT.I was welcomed by Nicola who was extremely helpful and even though I had no intention of buying I ended up leaving with a brand new pair of running shoes that I’m more than happy with. Nicola wasn’t pushy and even though I said to her I wasn’t planning on buying at the shop she was more than happy to help me find the right fit and off the back of it made a sale.

Dropped in for a gait analysis on a Saturday afternoon. Probably 5-6 others seeking the same but the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient - really nice atmosphere with customers chatting together. Aaron explained the process and findings really well and also explained clearly and helpfully why you shouldn’t correct gait for under 16s (I had my son with me). He helped me choose the right shoes for me, first run today and it has made such a difference! He also gave us a discount because I didn’t massively like the colour of the only pair in stock 🤣 a really great experience from a knowledgeable and friendly team.

This is the 3rd time we have purchased running shoes from Up and Running in Chester. Each time we have been impressed by their helpfulness, range of items available and their knowledge. Two of the three visits we have had the pleasure of having Sarah serve us.
She is friendly, warm and doesn't rush you to make your purchase. She makes sure that you're 100% happy with your choice before you buy it and talks through the alternatives with you. You don't feel like you're just making a purchase, she seems like she genuinely cares about your running journey and wants to help you.
Thank you for your great customer experience today. You have our loyal custom due to the way you treat us.

Up & Running have a great range of products and delivery is fast and free. I used to live near one of their shops and now that I am over a hundred miles away they gave me advice over the phone. Excellent service.

As someone who has only recently started running, walking into a specialist running shop felt a little intimidating... but the team at Up & Running Oxford couldn't have been more welcoming.
They took the time to understand my history, including previous surgeries and injuries, watched my gait, explained everything in a way that made sense, and helped me find the right pair of trainers without any pressure.
I was genuinely surprised to discover I have a neutral gait (possibly the only neutral thing about me! 😂).
What stood out most wasn't just the expertise, though. We ended up chatting about dogs, dads, football and life in general, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal rather than just another shopping trip.
I'm now training for the London Marathon 2027 in my new New Balance trainers and feel confident knowing I'm running in shoes chosen specifically for me.
If you're an experienced runner or, like me, a complete beginner wondering where to start, I'd highly recommend popping into Up & Running Oxford. Brilliant service, knowledgeable staff and genuinely lovely people.

I was pointed in the direction of Up and Running by a family member after complaining of knee pain after longer runs… Sue in Milton Keynes branch was so helpful and knowledgable, giving me advice (who knew I had been running in trainers that were too small?!) and helping me to stick to my limited budget. I now have a pair of running shoes that feel like air on my feet and I’m looking forward to hitting my progress goals! Thank you ☺️

Great experience! Wholeheartedly recommend shipping from smaller suppliers like this. Price was great, shoes are great, service was great, delivery was great. Awesome all around.

The team at the Barnet shop were really helpful, friendly and professional.
It took some time to try on a good few shoes and repeatedly going back to the treadmill to ensure a proper fit, but the team was patient and I never felt rushed or pushed into buying a specific shoe.
After going through about 5 pairs of, I found the right shoe and grabbed a couple pairs of socks.
I wish I had 2 more arms so I could give them 4 thumbs up, way up!

No problem with availability regarding good delivery and quality item but I need a wide fit shoe and these always seem in short supply at anything like a reduced price.
