We all really appreciated Dan & his team at the Darlington store, stopping after normal opening hours to host a club night for Teesdale Athletic Club. All the team were very knowledgeable about their products and helpful with trying on kit. The freebies and discount on kit made the evening even more special. Thanks from TAC.

Have visited the Barnet store twice and both times could not have received better service. Max was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and put time into making sure that I got the correct footwear for my needs. A brilliant experience and would highly recommend. The other member of staff was also helpful and great too. A brilliant find!

Went into the Bristol Westbury park shop today to find a new pair of running shoes - Thomas was so helpful and so patient, you can tell he really cared! I ended up with a great pair of trainers that fit perfectly!! (after trying many😂) Would definitely recommend 😁😁

I visited the Milton Keynes store today and Marine was incredibly helpful. I tried on various running shoes. We checked sizes and did some gait tests. There was no hard pressure sell and as they didn’t have the colour I wanted in my size I got a discount code and ordered them when I got home. Marine was great and took the time to listen and understand my needs from a running shoe. Thank you

I had a conversation with the manager of York U&R and what took me hours of research online and still feeling I hadn’t got a clear answer, took him a few minutes.. he really listened to the issues I was having with trail shoes and went off to see if he could solve, only to return with a make I hadn’t heard of before and AI had never mentioned to me.. they felt like gloves on my feet in the shop, and I am hopeful for the outdoor test before an event in a couple of weeks. AI will never replace that quality conversation with an expert if that expert really listens to you, in my books anyway. Thankyou!

Brooks Ghost 17 are awful :( I've been wearing Ghosts for 10 years and they've always been perfect easy/long run shoes but the 17 gave me blisters after 2 miles - terrible waste of money - do not buy!

Excellent experience at Up & Running Leeds thanks to Corrie! He took time to understand what I was looking for, listened to everything I had to say, and talked me through a range of different options/ let me try on so many pairs without making me feel rushed.
He was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the differences between shoes in a way that helped me understand what would actually work best for me. I also really appreciated that there was no pressure or upselling.

Visited the store in Nottingham. Emma provided excellent service helping me buy my first proper pair of running shoes and some additional bits and pieces. Very helpful and friendly staff all round.

Highly recommend purchasing your sports products from Up and Running.

Two weeks ago, I purchased some trainers online which were failed delivery by DPD. Due to the fact I hadn't been in the UK to pick up the delivery and to monitor it correctly, I tracked my parcel 3 weeks later and found that the package was never re-delivered. Upon contacting DPD, they notified to me that the package had gone missing and since I was outside the 14 day notice period, there was nothing that could be done. However, Up and Running's customer service team saved the day. I want to personally thank you Gilly for her help in resolving the issues which meant I didn't loose out for DPD's mistake and was granted a pair of replacement trainers as an act of goodwill.

Absolutely brilliant service with just the right amount of advice to help me make my choice rather than just be ‘sold’ something which might not have been right for me. Elena in the Barnet shop was so patient! I’ve come away with a pair of New Balance shoes which I’m really happy with.

I visited the store in Milton Keynes for a gait test and to get a new pair of running shoes. Marine was exceptionally helpful. She was very patient and responsive and helped me understand my requirements and made several recommendations, all without being overly pushy. I managed to find the perfect pair.

Exceptional customer service. Great advice given. A good selection of running shoes to choose from with no pressure to buy (but I did) I would definitely recommend Up & Running in Darlington to anyone looking to buy new running shoes.

Brilliant service, Sarah in the Cambridge shop could not have been anymore helpful. Clearly good at her role and a great understanding of what the customer needs.

Went in to get some running shoes fitted and have my gait checked. The store was fairly quiet so I was able to try on a bunch of different pairs to find the ones that best fit me. Very happy with my purchase and very thankful to Thomas for helping. The staff were all very nice and the store stocked a wide selection along with many sale items. Highly recommend.

I needed a new pair of Brooks running shoes & chose Up & Running as they have good reviews.
I was not disappointed.
Marine was really helpful. Got me some shoes to try on, offered advice. Marine helped me find a belt to keep my phone in whilst running.

Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever had at Up & Running Darlington branch. Returning runner after 20 years out the game, had gait analysis done, talked through shoe options, tried on a number that were recommended and walked away with the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned. Nothing was too much for the staff. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
