This product needs to be publicly shamed

I genuine get pissed whenever I see a 5 star review for these. THEY SUCKKKK. The connection is so bad, it now takes me multiples try’s, multiples charging sessions and then multiple “leave it alone’s” for it to finally connect. Then, only one earphone will connect, then only the other one will connect. Not to mention one earphone is much louder than the other. You guys must actually hire high schoolers to build these crappy pieces. Please take a good hard look at your self in the mirror and find the reason why you feel the need to make terrible earphones. Thanks. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING BETTER (LIKE AIRPODS OR ANYTHING ELSE!!) 🤮🤮

I wish I could give them zero stars

I wish I could give them zero stars. Their headphones are okay, a bit plasticy and cheap but the worst is the app. It is completely useless, just like their support. It doesn't work at all, it refuses to recognize the headphones even when they are connected and working fine.

No order updates after 3 weeks

I ordered my headphones on the 30th of January (order #10115) - today is the 22nd of February and after emailing them numerous times the last answer I received a week ago that the headphones were already shipped and they are checking the tracking number - what a terribly hard task that takes over 3 weeks to provide a tracking number, and no idea if it’s ever going to be delivered. Honestly, this is the worst customer service I have experienced in the last years. I don’t want the headphones anymore - please refund my money!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! Ordered headphones on the 4th of January (2024) and received a tracking from them saying the estimated date of arrival will be January 9th. The item was shipped but never delivered. When emailing them they just told me to just keep checking the tracking. However UPS doesn’t provide any updates and as a customer it’s not possible to contact them either. I know the sender is able to do this but when I requested this they didn’t give me any answer. The tracking showed the item was in my city without any other information. Every time I send Urbanista an email, they basically told me just to be patient. Eventually the tracking said the item will be returned to the sender. I was baffled as it had already arrived in my city so even if they were unable to deliver it, I could’ve easily picked it up myself. All this time urbanista didn’t provide any update whatsoever. I had to constantly email them, only to get incomplete answers after days. They told me upon checking there was no problem with my address so once the order has returned they would resend it. The order was returned to their warehouse on January 18th. Upon asking why the order wasn’t delivered, when I can expect the new delivery or just telling them it’s very cumbersome to send the item back to Germany and then to Spain again, they didn’t reply at all. Now on February 5th I still haven’t received it nor have been giving any updates. They have not replied to my last email for a week. I also send them a DM on Instagram without any answer. I told them if I won’t receive my order soon I will unfortunately feel obliged to write a bad review.
Please save yourself the trouble: DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

No updates and awful customer service

3 weeks after ordering I still have not received any update on the status of my order which has not been shipped yet. Poor customer service that justified the longer wait with a "system update" and lies on the fact that the object was shipped when it doesn't say so on the website. Do not accept a request of refund.

Faulty Product Disappointing Customer service

I recently purchased Urbanista earbuds (Landon) from the OPTUS store located in Westfield Shopping Centre, Melbourne Narre Warren. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of disappointing.
From the very first day, one of the earbuds was non-functional, and it refused to charge. Determined to address this issue promptly, I visited the OPTUS store where I had made the purchase under a monthly instalment plan. To my surprise, I was directed to contact Urbanista support to raise a case for the faulty product.
Urbanista refused provide a replacement and asked me to destroy the product and send them photos.

This entire experience has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with OPTUS. Not only did the Urbanista earbuds fail to meet basic functionality expectations, but the customer service response from Both OPTUS and Urbanista has been frustrating and unhelpful. I expected better support, especially considering the product was clearly faulty from the start and the proof of purchase was readily available.
I urge OPTUS to reevaluate its customer service policies and ensure that customers are not left without proper resolution for faulty products, regardless of the purchase location. I am disappointed with the entire experience.

Disappointment and Frustration + Awfull Customer Service

I recently faced a frustrating situation that I'm sure many can relate to. It began with a simple purchase at the Cape Town airport. I bought a pair of headphones, swayed by the salesperson's assurance of an international warranty.
However, my real disappointment set in five months later. Despite careful use – I never worked out in them, only using them during travel – the cushioning on the headphones tore apart. This seemed unreasonable for a product of their price and supposed quality.
Seeking a solution, I contacted the manufacturer, expecting the international warranty to cover such a defect. To my dismay, their response was far from helpful. They outright refused to replace the cushion. When I inquired about purchasing a replacement separately, they informed me that such an option was not available.
Now, I find myself in a peculiar and frustrating predicament. I own a pair of headphones that still function well – the sound quality remains good – but they are essentially unusable due to the damaged cushions. It's a stark reminder of the gap between product quality, customer service, and the reality of warranties.

Absolute Expensive Rubbish & No help from Urbanista or the Retailer

I purchased a set of Los Angeles Solar Powered Headphones from InMotion (WH Smith) on a British P&O Cruises Ship in December 2022. These headphones are 10 months old and have hardly been used. They are cracked on the band and are useless. I have carried out a lot of research and found that there are many instances of these Urbanista headphones cracking/breaking in the exact same place, which shows that there is a fault with this product.

On October 30, 2023 I emailed In Motion, they replied with an email stating that they only give a 6-month warranty and told me to contact Urbanista. On November 1, 2023 I contacted Urbanista and they said they had a 12-month warranty and told me to contact InMotion again. On the same day I again contacted InMotion and once again they told me to go back to Urbanista.

Of course, nobody wants to take responsibility for this, but the headphones are not fit for purpose and have an inherent fault. All of these Los Angeles Urbanista headphones that have been sold should be recalled and people should be refunded. These were not cheap headphones and many reviewers on Amazon have said these are broken and they have also attached photos to show the break.

I cannot seem to get any help from Urbanista or InMotion and it appears that all the resellers of Urbanista headphones are trying to shrug their buyers off without helping them. Come on Urbanista, this is not fair, you are making a lot of money on these faulty headphones.

After sending the research and photos of the many instances of broken headphones to Urbanista, I did receive an email from Urbanista on 7 November stating that the management have agreed to replace your headphones. Could you kindly provide us with your complete address? We will be waiting for your reply. I replied immediately with my details and to date, 13 November 2023 Urbanista have not replied to tell me that the headphones have been sent out to me. I have emailed them again on the 8th and 9th of November and now they appear to be ignoring me. I have no solution for this as yet. If things change and I receive a replacement, I will update this review.

Difficult process when things go wrong

I bought a pair of Miami over ear headphones last winter, sound quality was good but they stopped turning on six months in.

I tried contacting customer service through their website form twice and ringing the number but never heard back from anyone, ended up having to message them on Instagram and it took the bones of 2 months to get a replacement ordered as the replies were very slow.

The agent had me destroy my current pair and send a photo and said they would send a new pair. After a month the new pair hadn’t shipped and when I followed up another agent said that they weren’t able to deliver to Canada. They then refunded me on paypal (which charged me 10$ to receive the refund) the refund was the pre-tax price of the headphones so I’m out about 40$ and they’ve stopped responding to my emails.

From the other reviews it seems like this company is a bit of a waste of space and not worth the hassle if something goes wrong.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I ordered headphones in June 2023. When i received them they would stay on and work for 5 seconds at a time. I emailed customer service they were helpful at first and told me i could send them back for a refund. I returned them and then they stopped answering me. I have been emailing them every month since and it is now November. I mean it’s only $60 but it is ridiculous that they do this to people and hearing how many other people they do this to it makes me want to file a suit in small claims court because this is disgusting what they do.

I ordered some headphone about 6 weeks…

I ordered some headphone about 6 weeks ago and missed the original delivery. I’ve now spent a month and a half waiting for them to re-deliver. 5 emails to customer support and they haven’t replied to any. The website has no number and no live chat feature so there no way for me to try and get in contact with them.

Bring back the Stockholm!

Have had two pairs of the Stockholm and loved them. The first pair lasted 3 years and the 2nd pair 8 months. As they are a discontinued model, they were replaced by the Copenhagen. These are far less comfortable, feel bulky in the ear and I just don’t like wearing them at all. Great sound but inferior style, fit and quality to the Stockholm.

Customer service that leaves you hanging for two (or six) months

I bought the los angeles headphones about a year ago and i’ve had to ask for a replacement twice because of breakage in the same spot.
However, the second time i contacted costumer support it took nearly two months before the replacement was sent out. When i finally got information about the delivery, the package had been at the pickup point for several days and would be sent back the same day.
The last time i had to connect with customer support i got the headphones just a week later, so idk wht has happened.

Also to note: you’re only sent to trustpilot to write a review if you press five stars, otherwise you end up on urbanistas home page. shady lol

Update: its now december and i still haven’t gotten a reply from Urbanista. The errand was sent to ARN (almänna reklamationsnämnden) in around september, and there still haven’t been any replies from the company.

In the space of a month my london…

In the space of a month my london urbanista earphones have-
1. Stopped working in one ear
2. Became so quiet you could barely hear anything

The website is terrible and all it does is direct you towards the manual, which has barely any information

I bought mine from HMV, 1
£100 cheaper (it was a deal).
And I still feel that I have been scammed

broke in less than a year of use!!

I’m so sad about those headphones, they were my first big purchase and I was so happy with them, In less than a year they broke and the warranty says this is used damage! I’m so confused did I just pay this much for them to break so easily, I didn't even drop them they just started breaking little by little 😭 I was a huge fan!

support is TERRIBLE

I ordered a new pair of Stockholm plus back in mid July when my first pair stopped working (I’d had them for two years). The new pair didn’t work so support sent me another new one. Those ones still didn’t work, and I have asked for a refund as I am fed up with products not working. Support only told me a refund wasn’t possible and the only option was to send ANOTHER replacement pair. When I asked why, she couldn’t be bothered to give me an answer, but when I said fine let’s replace them she answer pretty much immediately. Now that I’m asking for more information about a refund, again she is refusing to answer me at all. I need a working pair so I caved and bought a more expensive pair from another brand, expecting to be able to get a refund. Now I’m out $60 plus the $100 I spent on a new pair since these ones DIDN’T WORK. I used to love the company and the product but am now extremely disappointed.

Urbanista took my money three months…

Urbanista took my money three months ago but will never send the headphones. I have sent over 100 email inquiries. I got one or two replies, saying, "I will check on that and get back to you."

They never get back to me. They answer 1% of my inquiries. I will have to dispute the charge with the credit card company.

I don't know...do they EVEN SELL HEADPHONES???
