Received Dead Flowers Twice!

I’m posting this because I never leave reviews but I just couldn’t let this go.

I ordered flowers for my wife for Valentine’s Day. They came nearly dead and with no card. I reached out to customer support and they apologized, and offered to resend or credit. I chose the credit.

Last week I ordered flowers for my wife for her birthday.
Flowers showed up a 9p off a delivery truck. There is no real-time delivery updates so all you get is “out for delivery” which they posted at 9:30a.

Once again, the flowers showed up dead, So, they have successfully ruined two occasions for me and my wife. Delivering dead flowers at 9p on a birthday delivery is just poor business. I was willing to forgive the first one as every business makes errors, but this is obviously a pattern with their quality and reliability.

If you want your occasion ruined, or want to pay $120+ for flowers that looked like they were trampled and stolen from someone’s garden, enjoy! I only wish trust pilot allowed me to post the pictures of them here.

They can keep their credit for future purchases as I won’t be doing business with them again.
Save your money and aggravation, shop elsewhere.

Update: I see the response from Urban Stems and it’s the same message they sent to me when I emailed them.
First, I’d like to say I was immediately in touch with their customer support team several times on the day the flowers were supposed to be delivered, and all I received were AI generated responses but no live agent to help me. The next day I sent pictures of the flowers and complained, and a live agent sent the same thoughtful, scripted empathetic response I received after Valentine’s Day offering to resend the flowers or give me a credit.
So unless they intend to refund my money (which they never offered to do), there is no resolution to this problem and I would have to absolutely be insane to give them a third chance resend dead flowers to my wife or a loved one again.
I hope your experience is better than mine but fool me twice, shame on me.

Hi David,

Thank you for your feedback, and I am sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. I totally understand how frustrating it is to receive dead flowers, especially during special occasions. I understand we dropped the ball on this.

We'd love to work things out with you, so if you have been issued a resolution, please send us an email with a photo to care@urbanstems.com. Hoping we could turn your experience around.

Warmly,
~

Exceptional customer service

I placed an order for flowers and somehow they ended up being delivered to the wrong address. I immediately got onto the customer service chat and was connected with Laira who resolved the issue completely and to my satisfaction in less than 5 minutes. What exceptional customer service, not to mention incredibly beautiful flowers. This is really a company to do business with.

I am new to this company

I am new to this company. I received simple gorgeous flowers yesterday with no gift note. Carol, at your company, was extremely helpful in quickly finding out who had sent this lovely blossom. Very grateful for her quick response

Lucille was incredibly helpful and…

Lucille was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout the process. I placed a same-day delivery order at 12 PM ET, hoping the bouquet could arrive at a business before 4 PM. She went the extra mile by contacting dispatch to check if this was possible. Although it ultimately wasn’t, she handled the situation with understanding and promptly processed my refund. I really appreciated her professionalism and care.

Delivery address error = 1 star; intelligent Customer Service = 5 stars!

I ran into an illogical error while placing an order on my smartphone. I was told the delivery was not possible to a residential part of Brooklyn! I was frustrated enough (and did not want to shop elsewhere) to switch to my laptop and contact Help via Chat. The AI triage was not intrusive, and I was assisted by Renelyn very soon. She said that message was often resolved by using a different browser, so I re-did my order on the laptop with no problem at all. She offered an apology discount for free shipping, which I appreciated. But being on a fixed budget, I asked if I would *also* be able to use the "welcome" 20% discount code. Renelyn was very forthright, that the order could only accept one discount. She wrote she would have the shipping charge credited back to my payment after I placed the order using the discount code. I followed her instructions, and the email notice from Urban Stems of a credit came through at lightening speed. When I replied to thank her, I met Angel who had taken care of the credit because Renelyn was offline.
Oh yeah, I like the website, too. The Filter is a little glitchy but I got it to narrow down the selections.
