My first visit. Doctor and staff were quite pleasant, helpful, and professional.

Unbelievable!!! You make an appointment through the call center… you go to the appointment and there is no one at the desk when you walk in. So I sat and waited and then an older couple walked in and asked is there was anyone around. Apparently they were booked the same time as me. Since no one had acknowledged us, that didn’t seem to matter. I decided to start hollering to the back with all its closed doors. Finally someone appeared and said they would be right there. She said she was the only one there and couldn’t manage the front desk and do her job. Whatever she was doing was unknown at the time since there were no patients there at that time. About 1/2 hour later, she came out and checked us in. The older couple had left a sick dog in the car and even though I was there first, I volunteered to have them go first. I went to the grocery store and came back and hour later as instructed. They were still not finished their appointment. After about another 1/2 hour, I was finally seen. I had my main procedure done and then had some scelertherapy done on my left left leg and foot. He was working near the ankle and his needle hit a nerve that went all the way to my big toe. I jumped and be said “ hit a nerve, did I? I figured okay it wasn’t that big of a deal but two months later, I have numbing and shock like pain in my toe and foot. Now, on to my follow up appointment. I had changed the time of my follow up appointment with the call center to later that day. When I arrived, the doc was sitting at the front desk and indicated how lucky I was because he was about ready to leave. In other words, he never got the message about the change in my
appointment. Okay, second follow up appointment…. I arrived about 15 minutes before my 10am appointment and the door was locked. I called the call center and told them no one was there and the door was locked. Once again, there was another patient scheduled at the same time as me waiting in the parking lot. Finally, the doctors assistant arrived at 10:20. The other person walked in about 1 minutes before me and she started taking his info. Not a word was mentioned, no excuse for lateness and not even a hello, or I’ll be right with you. She took him back and I waited another 1/2 hour and another person walked in and wanted to know if there was anyone there. I explained my situation and frustration and she started to yell to the back to get someone’s attention. The assistant said she would be right out. After about another 1/2 hour, I took a piece of paper off the desk and wrote that I was leaving and would not be back. I called the call center and said that I left and explained why and they suggested that I reschedule. I said I would not do that until I spoke with a supervisor. Still waiting for that call. If my foot does not remedy itself in another month, I plan to bring suit against this organization and/or the doctor that treated me.

Since USA Veins Clinic has taken over you can’t speak to a doctor or nurse assistant at the office. All calls are routed to a call center who are no help for existing patients except to make an appointment. Before this buy out, you could call the office where your procedure was done and ask for a nurse to call you regarding complications your having. I had before what turned out to be trapped blood after my procedure and called and was able to get seen the next day. Now I’m having what I think is the same problem and I can’t get past the call center. I had to make an appointment 2 weeks from now. Very disappointed with the change.

I started with in May of 2022. Although my insurance had given me the wrong information. They rectified the situation, paid the 2600, and I had paid $425 out of pocket. This $425 was to be refunded to me. September 20th, they said Jose the Supervisor stated the refund was due back to me. So here we are 2/6/23 still no refund. the run around and BS. i WOULD NEVER, AND WOULD NOT RECOMMENDE ANYONE TO GO TO THIS BUSINESS. I sent in numerous mail correspondence, over 20 emails. still no refund

This company holds over $4k of my money that they overcharged me and refusing to give it back. The worst customer service ever, I never thought in my life that this kind of theft would be allowed in the United States. They are not disputing the fact that I have a huge credit on my account, just simply making up excuses for 4 months now why they are not ready to refund.
Avoid them like plaque!

Horrible company to work for.. If I could give them a zero star I would . They are never reliable on communication..they are a corporate company located in Illinois. The owners Dr
Flora Katsnelson and her partner/husband are some of the worst employers I have worked for. I honestly do not know how they are still in business. They work fraudulently to make sure people get treatment that are not necessarily qualified for due to their condition. IE: when the ultrasound texts are trained. They are trained to just make the vein look bigger than it is to have it covered by insurance. In order for their company to make money, they are falsifying numbers to have insurance companies pay for procedures to be completed.. it is a very shady business. I had the unpleasant experience of working with this company. They also send you to different states for training which they pay for. However, you are in charge of paying for all of your meals and travel and then are reimbursed at some point which can take 2 to 3 months to get that reimbursement done. It's just not a good company to work for. The doctor's and US techs are all working for this one company that is making them do things they shouldn't be doing.

I have been a patient of a wonderful doctor of the previous Vein Clinics of America and could not have been happier. Unfortunately this new merger with USA Veins is a living nightmare. I was scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of next week for follow up injections and got a text yesterday to reschedule my appointments that they changed WITHOUT EVEN CONTACTING ME!! Here’s the best part, they scheduled me for 2 Sunday mornings at 9am and let me know in their text that the clinic will be closed on those days. What the heck?!? You cancel my existing appointments to days that the clinic won’t even be open and ask me to call and reschedule??? I called back yesterday and of course it’s a general call center and I can barley understand the gentlemen on the other line. I ask him to cancel my appointments and I will call back when I’m ready to reschedule. Lo and behold, today I get a text an hour ago that they have scheduled me for 2 new dates plus a follow up that AGAIN don’t work for me and was I not contacted before they scheduled the appointments. Who does that? I also get a phone call and a voice mail today asking me to reschedule the Sunday dates that I had already canceled yesterday. Wait, what?!? I call once again and ask that all appointments they have scheduled for me be canceled and I’m pressured by the guy from the call center to reschedule right now. I’d rather have a root canal than work with this company. Absolutely the worst customer service. I asked him to send my medical records and to not call or text me again. We will see if that happens. I’m done with this inept company and will move on to a new doctor especially since the doctor I liked so much when it was VCA is no longer working there. I don’t blame him. Save yourself the time and irritation of working with USA Vein and work with a more professional company.

If I could give them a zero, I would. The worst medical practice I’ve ever dealt with. The staff in the Woodlands was not polite and can’t answer any of your questions. They don’t return your calls. Even when you’re there you can’t get a clear answer about treatment schedule or payment. They went through a transition from vein clinics of America to USA vein clinic. That happened right when I went for my consultation. Even so, it’s a bad set up and I would not recommend anybody go there. I wasted $400 on the ultrasound, but I can’t get a clear answer on how many treatments I need and what the total cost would be. Nor could I get a message to the doctor to ask another insurance question after speaking with several people, mostly who didn’t speak very good English. I think my first visit was in August, but I’ve stopped by there several times since then and called several times still with no answers. Do not go there!

I am not sure what started happening to this place. I began to go when it was Vein Clinics of America. I had been going there for some time now and the doctor seemed clueless as to whom I was every time I went. Repeatedly asked how my kids were and I always told him I had no kids! He never explained thoroughly why and what he was doing either. The best nurse I had there for the sclerotherapy treatment was Inga (Brookhaven, GA location), but then she left. Then things got worse when this company got bought out. Absolutely HORRIBLE! I had bought a package of 4 treatments for spider veins before this company got bought out but the customer service representatives continued to tell me I had to go back to the location where I got this package at but that they did not have a nurse. Then I called again and they told me they had a nurse now. I asked if I could go to another location and I was told no that it had to be the location where I had bought the package at. (I moved so had to drive over an hour), and when I get there they tell me there is no staff there! WHAT!? They had scheduled another patient who was there for the same reason. The girl in the front desk was clueless as to why they had scheduled us there. Every time I called they gave me a different story. I continued to call and ask to speak to a manager and even left an email in their site for a manager to contact me and they NEVER did. After MANY attempts of trying to get the last two treatments I had already paid for they sent me to another location. Every time I called the person told me something completely different. If you are thinking of going here let me give you a piece of advice....DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Please go elsewhere.

The Worst Customer Service I’ve ever encountered. They ruined many of my weekends, they will keep calling you none stop, on 01/12/2023 they called me more than 6 times and texted me when I told them I do not want to confirm my Appointment and I will do it at my convenience via text, they have horrible customer service and I ended up canceling my Appointment because I cannot deal with them anymore, be aware of their billing department people have the the worst customer service, I had to block their number and I’m glad I did😊
I’m looking for another clinic because I can’t stand USA Vein Clinic Service.

This company is the WORST - they lie, mislead, refuse to provide services that have already been paid. I was a Vein Clinic of America (VCA) patient until it was sold to USA Vein in October - that is when everything fell apart. Calling them is USELESS - no one takes ownership. They have put my health at risk. I paid $2,636 out of pocket in July 2022 and want my money back NOW. They make appointments just for you to show up and they say they do not have you on the schedule. The entire waiting room shook their heads in agreement as they had the same story! Twice I went and the doors were locked with a note on the door to call for a new appointment. Even their doctor quit.
UNACCEPTABLE. They belong behind bars - they have violated security and HIPPA laws as well. They are predators on seniors and those needing medical care. I am beyond words....it is just impossible to articulate sufficiently. I need someone with an authority position to contact me to resolve ASAP. I am in the Dallas, TX metroplex.
UPDATE - I have replied to the wecare@usaveinclinics as you suggested - but I have little faith that this will accomplish anything. Your response magnifies why your organization has such poor service. You put it on me to make further contact rather than you taking ownership of the issue. Incredible and sad.
UPDATE - Still no response. They don't care about their patients and have no regards for ethics. You get nothing but canned responses and no action. Seriously, they belong behind bars just like other thieves.

If I had the option to pick “0 stars,” I would have. BIGGEST waste of my time. Horrible horrible horrible organization. Wouldn’t wish them upon my worst enemy.

Reply from USA Vein Clinics
Sadly, if I could give them 0 stars, I would. I originally went to what I thought was Vein Clinics of America. When I entered, they informed me they had been taken over by USA Vein Clinics. They didn't seem to know what they were doing and rushed me through different questions, telling me what I "had to say." At the end they could not give me an estimate of how much their services would cost. They told me to contact my insurance. Upon doing so, my insurance told me that USA vein should have given me codes for which procedures would be done so they could determine that. But upon calling, USA Vein could not give me any codes. Finally my insurance called USA vein for me and called me back after trying for an hour, saying they could not get any answers from USA Vein either! Despite my misgivings, I went to a second appointment to do the ultrasound. This appointment ended up taking over 2 hours while I sat there and we went through the same questions as the first visit, but this time on an Ipad. They told me on the first visit that I wouldn't need to wear compression hose for insurance to pay for it. Then the second visit they told me I would actually need to wear them for 3 months. I left confused and unsure what I was supposed to do, but figured I would wait three months and they said to call them at that point. This clinic is 30 min from my house, but one day several weeks later, I happened to be driving past it and when I looked, they had shut down! No notice, no letter, nothing. I am not sure how long I would have waited before trying to figure out why nothing ever happened to treat my problem! I have now gone to a new clinic, where they did everything in 1 hour that it took USA Vein to do in 2 appointments and 3-4 hours. The worst part is that you can never get a hold of anyone at USA Vein! If you call, they transfer you to multiple different people, but no one knows anything! I am still trying to get them to refund the money my insurance paid them so that I can go get the ultrasound done at my new clinic since insurance won't pay for the same thing twice. The first time I called, after explaining my issues to multiple different people, they finally told me I had to call back after Jan 2, 2023 and that no refunds would be issued till then. When I called back, after talking to multiple different people, the one who said he would help either hung up or dropped the call. Upon calling back, I was transferred to multiple different people again, even though I always asked for the same guy by first and last name and extension. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place.

I visited USA Vein Clinic in Hallandale Beach, Florida and after going to about 10 - 12 treatments I'm left very dark veins in my legs which are permanent. It's almost a year since the treatments and the veins are still very dark. Mind you, I started with no dark veins and ended with my legs looking worse after all treatments which on a scale if 1 - 10. The pain during the treatment was 10+. I would NOT recommend this company at all!!! I won't even go into how they try to overcharge you as the patient!

I do not recommend this provider. USA Vein Clinics, why did you have to go and mess up a good thing? It seems like the level of service has gone down. Suddenly they aren’t required to sonogram my legs unless I report pain… so why was I called to schedule a yearly check up if you’re not going to do anything? They also said they would have to send me to a location in another state to get spider veins treated. On top of that, the cost of the procedure went up. I received high quality treatment prior to the merger. The doctor and staff were wonderful. Most of the previous staff left after the merger, which I think is extremely telling. I’ll be looking elsewhere for treatment and I hope anyone reading this does the same.

I was told insurance would cover my treatments and when I got home after the consult the paperwork said i would have to pay $8700 out of pocket. I cancelled all the appointments and then they charged me for a no show. I called numerous times (at 10 so far) and everyone assured me my appts. were cancelled. I just looked at my cc statement and there are over $500 in charges that occured within two days of one another. I DIDN'T HAVE ANY TREATMENTS!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND I AM CALLING MY LAWYER!

DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. I had 3 vein surgeries with this company. Their scheduling department and billing departments are a HOT MESS! Example- I would get 2 reminder phone calls in the same day, about my appointment the next day, only to get a 3rd phone call that said we'd have to reschedule. Well, I had already taken a 1/2 day off of work for the appointment. NOT OK! A couple of the times I was told it was because my insurance wasn't approved yet. I finally called my insurance, out of frustration, and they told me they had approved it a month prior!! After things like this kept happening over and over and over, I was fed up. I decided I was going to look elsewhere. I called and told them I no longer wanted to complete any more treatments. I told them to cancel all future appointments. I was done!! Then, days later, I received a text alert reminder, about my next appointment. It said to click yes to confirm. Obviously, since I'd already canceled over the phone, I replied NO, immediately. (Notice how "no" wasn't even an option in the automated text.) 2 days after that, I received a reminder phone call, for my already canceled appointment, for THAT DAY. I told her I had already canceled over the phone with a representative and also replied NO to the automated text. She said "ok". The next day I received an email for a $75 late no show fee! WHAT?!?!? So, I immediately called the billing department to tell them what happened. I was put on hold so she could check it out, and then I was disconnected. I tried calling back, it happened again. I called the next day, happened again. THIS CONTINUED TO HAPPEN THE NEXT 3 TIMES I CALLED. I finally had to open a dispute with my credit card company to get my refund. So, between the scheduling department repeatedly canceling and rescheduling my appointments, then getting charged for an appointment I had canceled, then being intentionally disconnected when I try and dispute the charge with them, I would not give this company any business!!! Go to a doctor or practice who is legitimate!! THIS COMPANY IS SHADY!!!

Besides the ultrasound technicians going above and beyond, the corporate aspect of this company is an absolute disgrace. Undervaluing it’s employees is putting it mildly. Not only does the call center send you to clinics that no longer exist, but they overbook patients as well. Furthermore, it’s employees are underpaid and do not have any health benefits package. As a woman who is nearly 80 years old, this is unacceptable. What happened to word equality? Humanity? USA Vein Clinics will be hearing a lot more from me. I hope this review has helped at least someone realize they can receive better care elsewhere.

Do not go here!!! I was a patient of Vein Clinics of America and had an absolutely wonderful experience with each appointment, so organized and easy to work with. Ever since they were bought out by USA Vein Clinics every appointment has been a total disaster! Things like confirming my appointment to then show up and the office is closed, not transferring my medical records over between companies and not knowing what procedures I was supposed to be having done. The other day I showed up for an appointment and was there for 2 HOURS and never even got taken past the waiting room. When I call their customer service number, I speak to a different person every time and am told the exact same thing (that they are sorry for the inconvenience and can reschedule my appointment). I was supposed to have this appointment back in October. It is now December and still have not been seen because of the company's complete lack of organization! I plan to tell anyone who asks to definitely not go to USA Vein Clinics!

Worst medical experience of my life.
While the Doctor was good at doing the initial job on one leg. Imagine having appointments that you scheduled months in advance cancelled within 24 hrs and within 30 minutes after you have already had one leg operated on.
The office told me it was important to schedule the second surgery as close as possible to the first surgery. Now, after the total screw up, I confirmed with the doctor that it is not necessary to have them scheduled so close. It would have been really nice to know their office was going to be closed the day my 2nd surgery was scheduled on (less than 24 hrs after the 1st surgery) instead of finding out immediately after they did the first procedure.
Then, when you talk to their foreign call center, they actually lie to you and tell you information that is totally inaccurate, like you will have to start the process all over with a new doctor.
Also, telling lies about confirmed appointments and saying they spoke with the physical office in Kennesaw, when they didn't.
After paying quite a bit in money, taking off work for initial appointments, and having half of my legs operated on, it is definitely not worth the stress.
I probably had a new varicose vein pop out due to the stress!
If you have a job and need to take time off work for these appointments, just know you look like a fool when the time you have scheduled off months in advance gets cancelled within a day the procedure is scheduled on.
Then, it may get cancelled AGAIN within 30 minutes of the procedure, as it did to me.
Lastly, you receive actual confirmation that their call center actually lies, blatantly lies.
USA Vein Clinics- Two Thumbs down
I wish I never would have went. A total waste of time and money.
Also, know that some reviews prior to 10/1/2022 are for Vein Clinics of America, which was awesome. Now, many of those have transferred over to USA Vein Clinics and by "USA" they mean much of the staff you communicate with will be outside the USA.
It looks like based on other reviews this is happening to everyone. Their response is so generic too as they want to resolve issues as a collective, but take no responsibility for the damage done and or losses incurred.
What great proposed resolutions! They want you to call the people and talk to them, when it is their poor ability to handle calls, communicate, and manage that has caused the situation. Rather than exacerbate the problems, just give up and stop screwing people over, please.
I get a enough scammers calling me everyday. I don't need to solicit them.
*Update 11/30: So, no call was received from this so called company yesterday. I did email them, without a response. I called them and spoke with someone who told me the issues I experienced were related to their system not being updated.
Great!
In my opinion this company has based their model on the Mike Judge movie Idiocracy, when Luke Wilson goes to the hospital.
