Below zero stars

Below zero stars! Unprofessional and dirty office. Customer service indifferent and uncaring. Billing is awful. I paid my balance and continue to be harassed and threatened due to a “computer glitch” that they have no idea when it will be fixed.in the meantime I show an outstanding balance since January. Awful experience.

AVOID.

I cancelled before going in for a procedure because all of my experience leading up to the actual surgery date gave me a very bad feeling. So, while the doctor in the KS location may be good, I have no idea. What I can say is that my first appointment took 3 hours - 1 hour in the waiting room because they couldn't let me in until they got approval - they had to wait for some approval from corporate that my credit card went through even though they could see it went through. I was the only person in the waiting room and the only patient in the offices. You cannot really deal with the treating office directly because they are only open 2 days a week. When you call the local number, you go to a general customer service center where no one can really help you and (1) get disconnected, (2) are put on perma hold, or (3) get zero helpful information. They are SLOW to submit paperwork to insurance companies for pre-approval. Even though they claim they do it immediately, they really take about a week and then they have to re-submit because they missed filing requested paperwork. Oh, they also submit using FAX, an outdated method that insurance companies kick to the bottom of the approval pile. Don't even try changing your appointment times even if your doctor says customer service can do it for you. Nope, customer service reads off of a script and can't or won't help you. After spending HOURS on the phone with these folks, I punted - with USA Vein Clinics, you are a merely a number with a pocketbook, not a patient. I can't believe my primary doctor referred me to this outfit! Do yourself a favor and save yourself anxiety by avoiding this company.

Absolutely Awful

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is, unfortunately, what I believe is coming to health care in America. The physicians have no control over anything. They work for corporate goons, who couldn’t care less about you. When you want to make an appointment, you can’t do it at the office. You have to call the call center, which is staffed by morons with room temperature IQs. I doubt it’s even in the United States. Trying to make an appointment is excruciatingly painful. I have an insurance plan that is accepted anywhere. While that’s unique, it’s certainly not unheard of. I was a patient of Vein Clinics of America, and had treatment by USA Vein clinics before they fired all of the old employees. When I tried to make a new appointment to finish my treatment, they told me they don’t have a physician that is on my insurance plan.Run like hell. Don’t go here. This company is a disaster to deal with.

This company deserves a 0

This company deserves a 0. I cancelled 2 appointments with the clerk at the office on Wells Street in Chicago. Imagine my shock when my debit card was charged $250. For a "no show" fee. I called numerous times and still nothing has been done. Said it was in review and a supervisor would call. Didn't happen. Also, they call like "stalkers" to try and get you to rebook. I didn't like the doctor and will never return. It used to be Vein Clinics of America and I never had a single problem with them in 30 years. This company is bottom of the barrel and my advice is to go elsewhere. I will also file a complaint with the better business bureau and advise BC/BS how I am being treated.

Update: I did sent an email to the email noted in their reply. Haven't heard a thing from them. Nice try.

Update: I have not heard from this company, despite my atempts to contact them. Stay Away!!!

After I filed a complaint with my state Board of Health, and the investigation was complete, the bill was considered to be paid in full, since "I was so unhappy with their service".Customer Service is non-responsive. I made the appointment thinking it was Vein Clinics of America, who provided fabulous service. I found out it was not the same business when I arrived. I was taken for my scan and then told to wait in a room for the doctor. A technician came about 15 minutes later and said the doctor was busy and it might be a while. Another 15 minutes passed, and another technician came in and said he was probably not going to be able to see me today. Ok, it's a medical office and emergencies can happen, I left. The office called to schedule appoints with me, but they had already made the appointments and were just telling me the dates. I was not available on some of the days so the person said ok and she changed them to other days I was also not available. They did not seem willing to make appoints with me, just for me when it suited their schedule so
I cancelled all appointments. I decided to find another provider. I received a bill for the scan AND a Doctor visit. I called to ask for my medical records and the customer service agent said she would get them to me ASAP. I said I would not pay the bill for an office visit when I did not see the doctor. She promised to look into my situation.
One month later I have received the bill again. I went to the office and asked for my records, I was told I had to request them from the medical records department and that it might take a while. I was also told I could not pay my bill in cash.
Today I called customer service, and they would mail me my records, it might take a month to get them to me because that department is overburdened with work.
I told them I would pay my bill when I received my records, and they threatened me with a bad credit report. I was told I had to pay for the doctor visit portion of the bill even though I never saw him, and he never called me, as it was how the bill was divided into a scan and an office visit with the doctor.
They were quite willing to set up a payment plan.
They also kept repeating the same phrases as if they were reading from a script, not actually talking to a live person on the phone.
Think twice before using this company.

Worst company customer service

Worst company customer service. I don’t know how this company was able to take over another company, especially one that actually knows how to provide customer service and a very streamlined operation. Calling their customer service line is a joke, as you get passed around with no resolution. Cannot get medical records. Office personnel cannot help with anything as they just tell you to call their 800 number and the circle of frustration continues. When I went for treatments I was never given an estimated out of pocket before treatment was given. Office personnel asked for my regular office co-payment without ever saying that the actual amount owed will be determined AFTER the service is performed. That should have been red flag number one. They apparently only do “paperless billing” which by their definition means you get no bill, rather an email months later stating you have an unpaid balance (email doesn’t even do you the courtesy of stating amount) and the card you provided will be charged. So not only do you NOT know how much you are estimated to owe for the procedures, but you are notified months later that you owe money and they are charging you….but don’t state how much you’re being charged! I called in to get an itemized bill statement that shows all of my payments, and that I have a zero balance on my account only to be hung up after 40 minutes of waiting to get it. I will be going somewhere else in the future, as even the treatments I received did not help. So a waste of my money. This company is a JOKE. Go somewhere else.

I went to the USA VEIN Clinic in…Everett

I went to the USA VEIN Clinic in Everett WA, Doctor and most of the staff were awesome.. Went I started going in May of 2023 they were in network with my insurance until June 30, went my insurance said they dropped my insurance. I was billed $2800.00 for 3 visit after my insurance paid there for the out of network part. USA Vein saying they are still in network and the balance is my responsibility. They harass me constantly on the phone and not have taken money from my account with out my authorization. I have asked many of time why was I not informed they were no longer in network, per USA Vein Clinics they are still in network. I have been trying to deal with this for months now.. STAY AWAY FROM USA VEIN CLINIC unless you want to go through constant harassment and stress. Betty

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Their call center is clearly not in USA. They took over from Vein Clinics of America, fired all the existing employees and closed down all the clinics - or at least most of them. They will not give you your medical records. Email requests are ignored and phone calls are immediately disconnected. They are dishonest and shady. Do not go to them.

It is worst than it was before treatment! Horrible place!

I went for treatment of a varicose vein on my right lower leg on August, 31st, 2023. first of all I had to wait a long time. the Doctor didn't use numbing topical anesthetic, the injection hurt a lot!
I was told to wear the compression stocking for three days only.
My leg hurt a lot. when I took the stocking off my leg was black and blue with bump's. I went for my follow up and it turned out I have a blood clod!
No instructions were given to me, other than to take aspirin.
My leg is worst than it was before and the vein still there but with bumps and bruises!
That place is terrible!! Don't waist your time and money.
I have an appointment with a specialist to get a second opinion and see what needs to be done to get rid of the pain!

Go to a doc’s office, not USA Vein Clinics

This company “USA Vein Clinics” has the worst customer service of any “doctor” I have ever used. If you need help with your veins ask your primary care physician for a referral and go to an actual doctors office. When you call these guys isn’t a doctor’s office, it is a call center. I stopped my care here because I couldn’t get a straight answer about my care’s cost. They will send you text messages about billing that seem scammy. When I called them to confirm the text was real, they started harassing me for payment. They were not kind. They didn’t express concern for my health. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Belmont location

Belmont location. By Far the worst experience ever!!! Went in for treatment of the right leg(GSV). Started treatment on June 6th. June 20th, treatment #3. My leg became severely infected. My leg grew twice its normal size because of the swelling. I could not walk or sleep because of the pain. I went in to the doctors office on June 27th for a pain visit. I was told, this was normal. I had a fever, chills and extreme pain. Instead the the wound is cleaned with iodine, and says, the swelling will go down. I was prescribed an antibiotic. When I get to the pharmacy, the pharmacy technician tells me the prescription was incorrectly written. The pharmacy tech tries calling the doctors office, but the doctor’s office doesn’t have a direct line, all calls go to a call center. I waited, and waited and no one ever got back to the pharmacy tech. I decided to drive back to the clinic near Milwaukee and Belmont from Pilsen. I get to the doctors office and explain the situation, and they say, you could’ve just called. I said, how am I suppose to call if there is no direct line to this office! They tried writing another prescription, but they didn’t have a prescription book at hand or could not send the prescription directly to the pharmacy. Finally customer service calls me from Vein Clinic Center and tells me that I can pick up the prescription the following day at a different clinic location. Keep in mind, I am in serious pain, can’t walk, I’m burning up with a fever and chilis. That same day I ended up in The emergency room. The ER doctor reacts with, what the hell happened to your leg! I was there for one night. I was hooked up to an IV immediately to help bring down the severe infection and swelling. The Following week I went to see the doctor, AGAIN, to show what happened and how I ended up in the hospital, and to ALSO show my leg, which was still swollen and in pain. Again, I was told this was normal. It is now July 29, YES JULY 29th, and I have a huge lump about 4 inches in diameter, which I was told is healing tissue. I went to see my primary care doctor. She said this needs to be seen by a surgeon because it might need to be drained. THIS DOES NOT LOOK NORMAL.This is my experience and I’m not here to put anybody down or give a bad reputation to anyone, perhaps this was just my bad luck. Good luck to all of you that read this review and are thinking of varicose vein treatment. Do your research, and do it well before going to any clinic. I would add photos but I don’t think anybody wants to see a severely swollen and infected leg. Too graphic!!!

Dr Gina and her staff in Titon Falls NJ are great. The procedures seem to be working well. I must agree with everyone else, the call center is horrible, it makes you want to cancel all your planned visits because you lose confidence in the company, but if you can get past that I recommend it.

I was a long term patient

I was a long term patient. If I could give this business a zero for business practices I would. I received a call from the corporate billing office approximately a week before my next appointment about a small balance due. I was told it was ok to pay that balance on my next visit and that a notation would be put in my file stating that no further contact was needed regarding my balance. In the ensuing week I received multiple phone calls and text messages asking about the balance. I even received a call again the day of my appointment as I was walking into the office for treatment from corporate billing! as promised, I paid my balance and conveyed my unhappiness about the number of contacts that bordered on harassment to a sympathetic local office staff.
After my appointment, I called the person that I was told was in charge of billing to express how unhappy I was at the number of times I was being contacted. Each time I called I was transferred multiple times before being told that the individual I needed to speak to was in a meeting, out of the office, on break... I left messages each time. I
made 6 calls between 7/14/23 and 7/24/23 trying to reach this person without any success. I have never been treated by any company in such a shoddy manner. Save yourself the frustration and get the professional services that you need elsewhere!

Disgusting

It's unfortunate really. The ladies at the office I visited are so nice!
This place is deceptive.... extremely
Any and all calls you make go through a call center and not the actual office. Getting in contact with the office is way more difficult than it should be! On top of this, the amount of notifications sent are disgusting. I would recieve 4-10 text messages and multiple calls for appointment reminders/confirmations. It is very much SPAM.
They also will charge your personal debit / checking account WHENEVER THEY WANT. I had a random transaction for hundreds that I did not authorize. I didn't receive a bill for this. No email, no text, no call. They just took it. Then when you do call and try to speak to someone about it, they are very rude and belittling in their billing department. It is absolutely despicable and disgusting! They do not help at all. This company is money hungry and does not care about the patient. I have canceled any appointments I had in the future and absolutely refuse to return.

I would have given no stars if…

I would have given no stars if possible. For the consultation, the doctor came out to the waiting area and introduced himself as Dr Steven Cohen from Chicago. He did a lot of talking and I found out he was an oncology surgeon. Not vascular. That should have been another clue but I assumed he knew enough to do what I needed done. (Yes, I’m stupid for trusting). I had my initial ultrasound by a very good technician. Dr Cohen came in the room after and briefly described what the plan would be to treat my veins. I received a printed out schedule of 4 procedures and follow up visits. The next week I arrived ten minutes early and waited. I must add that there is no reception desk and the place still looked like it was not done physically. I walked the dark halls looking for a person to acknowledge I was there. I ran into the nurse who told me to go back to the waiting room. About 10 minutes later Dr Steven Cohen came out and told me there had been a mistake in “the system” and 3 patients were scheduled at the same time and I would have to wait over an hour or so.He told me to go shopping for a while. I had taken that time off work so I didn’t feel like shopping. He said I could reschedule, wait, or cancel. He then went back to whatever he was doing down those dark halls. I went to my car and called the main number I had been given 855-444-5975 and told them I was at the office and explained I couldn’t wait for my appointment and was highly disappointed at how I was being treated. I told him I need to cancel this appointment and any others moving forward. They rescheduled me for June 30. I canceled that as well. Now I received notice they charged my card for a “no show!” I immediately called the number again and spoke with Henriquez and explained to him everything that happened. He told me he was sorry about my experience and said they would reverse the charge. I’m waiting to see if this happens. This place is creepy. On the outside it had bright window pictures with also the words “walk ins welcome”? You walk in and a very loud buzzer goes off but there’s no reception desk. You sit you wait. At some point a tech comes out with her tablet and goes through everything with you. Then after much to do about the computer system not working properly, a very good tech brings you to a room and does the ultrasound. Then the doctor comes in and all seems normal. Till you go back for the first procedure. It’s such a disappointment.
