1st engine fail no compression and call warrant to replace it… took them 1 more month to resend to my mechanic shop and it was fine but when I ask them for the warranty refund for the mechanic installation , they just play soccer game and said I need to notify the supervisor and they never responded back… it’s been a month past. I have notify them again that I will take legal action against them if They don’t respond back with the refund

Verified purchaser - DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SHYSTERS! ZERO STARS! Purchased a used engine from REMANNS.COM 6-13-22 & it was the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The used engine sent was DEFECTIVE enough that the Licensed Auto Repair Facility REFUSED TO INSTALL the engine received from REMANNS.COM. REMANNS "Warranty Department" stated I had to provide PROOF in the form of a compression test in order to receive a refund. I paid the Licensed Auto Repair Facility to perform the compression test - IT FAILED MISERABLY (and without reimbursement)! They have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT (contracted out to cs## at autopartsemail.biz), NO WARRANTY DEPARTMENT (contracted out to autopartsemail.biz), NO SHIPPING DEPARTMENT (contracted out to shipping at autopartsemail.biz), & after (at least) 23 emails & phone calls sent to EVERYONE listed above as well as multiple entities @remanns.com has FAILED to have a response as to HOW I CAN GET THIS UNUSABLE JUNKYARD ENGINE OUT OF THIS LICENSED AUTO REPAIR FACILITY - REMANNS IS NOT CONTACTING ME AT ALL as to how to GET THIS UNUSABLE JUNK YARD ENGINE BACK TO THEM. This company is the most useless company in the world. I bought a used ford E350 from them and didn't read the fine print about the 10 day return policy. I recently called them to check on the warranty policy and that is why I found out about the warranty gimmick
I could tell every person i spoke to there was happy to rub it in my face and i had a sales girl there hang up on me when i was trying to tell her that the overwhelming negative reviews they have. I called her on 888 284 2773 to see if she could reinstate the warranty in case i needed to use it. I called a manager yesterday at 4144352376 and he was so rude also.
Horrible company, bad engine, no return calls
I purchased an engine in February, didn't receive it until April. The engine was bad and no one will return my calls. I have talked to the warranty department several times and left numerous messages for Sancho Pike, Customer Service and Warranty Manager and have not received a call back. Now they are saying my warranty is void.

I bought a 2003 Honda Pilot engine but they sent me a Honda Odyssey. The engine was malfunctioning so I took it to the dealership to get the engine check. They said the engine was no good and all 6 sensors were bad. The engine came with a warranty but the will not honor it. The supervisor is hiding and will not take my calls. I have been trying to either get it fixed or reund and they will not do either. This company is bad and will send you cheap merchandise hides from you and will not honor the warranty that come with it. Do not I repeat do not buy your engine from here they are bad business and will take your money. They sell bad products and merchandise they will not send you what you ask for and will play games with you. Bad bad bad bad bad

I purchased a motor for an 04 tundra. i recevied it with rust all over the motor, broken bolts, cracked oil pan. I was told it was an exact match for my vehicle. I had to remove and replace so many things from my original motor it was nonsensical. Once the motor was in there was some noise coming from the motor. I contacted the warranty department via email several times and I did not get a response. I put a dispute in with my bank over the charges. THAT is when they decided to contact me. after sending them pictures they denied any wrong doing, then my bank denied my claim due to the rules of their warranty. fast forward 10 months.. the ticking is getting louder and is now a clunking. I record video and send it to the warranty department no response, I emailed several times and received nothing. Then will about 100 miles away the engine stopped running. I contact the warranty dept. I am asked for a diagnostic report. cant to that as the motor isnt running, asked for pictures of the heat tabs. I looked on the motor and there were none, i even sent them original pictures from the motor and asked them to point them out to me. they told me they never installed them. Then after over a week of the run around I am told my warranty is denied due to the act that i disputed the charges when i purchased the motor and that voided my warranty. Here I am now with no truck, no motor no way to work. all i can say is STAY AWAY!!!

The transmission was broken it's been 8 weeks since I contacted them for a refund and my labor for the bad transmission. This company is unreceptive to customer service and helping the people, they do take your money and run!!!!

I have yet to buy an engine for my 2002 Tahoe Z71, and I had the unfortunate pleasantry of dealing with a guy named Alan, anybody at all who's ever dealt with this guy please email me, david.cothern @gmail.com, My first impression of him was he did not have time for any customer service and he was a complete ducking ashole, maybe it's just me, but he really was a ducking ashole. Even my wife said so because I had him on speaker while we were driving to my job because my truck is down. Just found out that she might be pregnant so this is even better, if there's any good advice out there about this company please let me know because I'm just trying to find a ducking motor to get my truck down the road so I can at least try to start getting the baby room ready I would really appreciate it thanks.

All negative engine only ran forc just 30000 mile phoned remanns to complain waited for remand to honor their warranty was told they would get back to me still waiting . Had to buy another engine . well , like most other folks on this site I really have nothing nice to say about this company. They take your money and then good luck trying to get through to someone to call you back when the product does not arrive on time if at all . We ordered an engine 7 weeks ago and its still not here. The site and company voice mail says its a 7-10 day, that's a joke. We have received notification last night that our engine should be here this week but even "if" that's and "if" it actually gets here we still need to have it installed so more time of being inconvenienced . The excuses we were given for the delay were such crap. So that's at least 7 weeks with no car. We were able to get the name of the shipping Manager Mr.Jones but he never answers his phone or returns calls. I am happy to share that number with you , I had to really dig for it and I call him daily . That number is 414-856-2063. We have his email too it's dale@autopartsemail.
Its concerning that this company has no company directory on line, they have no GM or CEO listed on line either. If you file a complaint with the BBB it needs to filed in WI. This has been an impossible company to deal with. They will gladly take your money. Sanhco and staff will not call you back and you will wait months to have your core picked up. So these people will hold your core money and not respond to your phone calls for pick up. Their statements to you is no one has the authority to help you. When they transfer you it disconnects. Save yourself the grief of dealing with them. If you have to you will be upset from anything you have to call them for. The sales department people will not help you once you give them your money for the sale. They will transfer you to someone else. Today I will have to stop my credit card payment to receive my core money back. They really have no customer service skills just apologies.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT purchase anything from these people. I wouldn't have even given them one star, but I had to, to write this review. I made an engine purchase through them. During the purchase everyone seemed so friendly, helpful, and professional. They were able to answer any questions I had. They had me convinced that they were legit, so I made the order using my credit card. The next day I received an invoice#, stating the engine would be shipped in 7-14 business days. After 10 days of hearing absolutely nothing from them, I called to see when they thought the engine may ship. I asked them a few questions about the engine while I had them on the phone. At this point I started to realize that I may have been scammed. I asked to speak with someone who could possibly help with the cancellation of my order. They transferred me to some random woman, who knew absolutely nothing about what I was talking about, and was pissed off at me for calling. After several attempts to contact them, I finally got someone on the phone who helped with the cancellation process. After about 10 days, the money was credited back to my account with exceptions of $500.
I tried to contact them again about the whereabouts of the $500. Guess what...you guessed it...Can't get anyone on the phone. They put me on hold and never answer.
Not sure if this is in any relation, but I had to cancel my credit card due to several purchases being attempted all over the country...you be the judge

I had no problems with them. Took a week for them to ship the engine. gave me shipping updates and tracking number. I believe there a broker for wreaking yards. When you purchase a used engine your kind of using Russian roulette. But the one I got was in Pretty Good Shape. I just hope the millage that was given was correct, I'm sure they take it from the car odometer. So am giving them four stars. And they are not a scam business. Engine install in my car and running great.

Remanns.com Used Engines SCAMMED me like most all the other reviewers here.
When I first called Remanns the attendant says, “Yea, we have that engine”. I asked when it would be delivered and the reply was about a week. But the next time I called to get a fix on transit they gave me a different story, 7-14 working days + weekends. (Add 4 more days) for weekends. When I called again someone says “7-14 working days but due to some unusual circumstances please allow additional time”. That’s vague! That could be a month or two and that’s not what the originally told me. I canceled to get a refund because I couldn’t wait that long and Remanns kept over $340. This is a SCAM outfit that BAITS you and SWITCHES!
