Terrible service for the return pick up were told it would be 20 mins as traffic was bad, this is after it took 6 calls before they actually picked up,4 different parties waiting were all told the same even ones that arrived 20mins after us!
Several of us phoned again to be just told about traffic when we could clearly see others phoning taxis and being collected within minutes!!
1hr and 45 mins later a beat up
Old mini bus screeched into the car park the guy jumped out and immediately started shouting and swearing at us telling us to blame Manchester Airport not him… he was very irate and rude stood back and gave no help with luggage… or with trying to get the chair forward so people could fit in the back which was difficult due to the best up nature of this vehicle!
He then screeched out of the car park like a lunatic and in the 8mins it took to drive back to the car park he had 3 incidents of road rage!! On the nearly traffic free rds.. so 95mins it took them to come on a 8 min journey!!!!!
As we were told on the way to the airport by their very pleasant and helpful driver they have only 2 drivers and it’s carnage for them in the afternoons the traffic excuse was never going to wash with us….
On collecting our car the key was on a desk along with 6 others for anyone to come and take, I could have picked up any key and taken their car…. As the only other guy in their ‘office’ was on the phone probably lying to another customer!!!
My car had clearly been used they taken the time to change the dab radio and left sweet wrappers, a pill box, bus ticket and paracetamol pack in my car!
I will never use them
Again and would not recommend to anyone!!!

Having booked and paid for parking (via SkyParkSecure) at Manchester Vacation Care Park & Ride Undercover three months before our holiday, I called the car park 15 minutes before we were due to arrive there, as instructed in the booking confirmation email. There was no reply until my third call, when I was informed by the man on duty that the car park was closed because it was full, despite the fact that we had booked and paid for parking. I eventually managed to speak to the night manager, who confirmed that the car park was full, and that we would not be able to park our car there. When I asked him what he suggested we should do, given that we had a plane to catch, he advised me to go and find a layby in the airport premises, leave the car there for the fortnight, and said he was sure the car wouldn't get clamped or towed away, and we wouldn't get fined. Needless to say, we didn't follow his advice. This was all extremely distressing for my husband, disabled son and myself, and we were very fortunate not to miss our flight and have our holiday ruined. After a very stressful hour driving around various car parks, we eventually found one that agreed to take our car, and we arrived at the airport just as the last call for our flight was announced. We could hardly have had a worse start to our holiday, and nearly didn't have a holiday at all. Manchester Vacation Care Park & Ride Undercover have not replied to the emails I have sent them since our return, although they have admitted in an email to SkyParkSecure that their manager told us that the car park was full.
I am shocked that Vacation Care Ltd can get away with breaching consumer law and potentially ruining their customers' holidays. In my view, this company is a rogue operator, and should be shut down.

Waited two hours to be collected from airport Ourselves and another party had phone slammed down on us when we rang the contact number to find out what was happening.
You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife when we got back to the car park, staff not talking to each other, very unprofessional. Been ok in previous years but not good this time, outbound or return.

Definitely avoid this car park service. I really don't know how it is being promoted by reputable sites.
It absolutely stinks of cannabis and seems to be run by a group of half stoned teenagers who have the foulest attitudes I've ever encountered. Then there are a few disinterested older men answering the phones who have an equally bad attitude.
We weren't told we had to pay extra for the shuttle to the airport as it seemed most weren't as there were a lot of complaining people. The girl behind reception shouted to her colleague "well if they don't want to pay tell them to f off and get a taxi"
As it happened we did get a taxi as there were over 30 people waiting for the shuttle bus to the airport.

Would not use this company again. They parked the cars for you and drove them like they were lewis hamilton. Office smelt like cannabis. The van taking us to the airport felt like the seats werent secure. Every time they hit the brakes the seat rocked back and forward. The transfer from the airport back to the carpark we had to wait best part of an hour when they said they would be 10 minutes and could smell cannabis sat behind the driver. My advice pay the extra and park at the airport. If I could give no stars I would.
EDIT: Review also left on Vacationcare review page and they have replied with one word "nonsense". I only ever leave accurate reviews of my experience and am not led by others. I like to find things out for myself and give companies the benefit of the doubt. My review is an accurate account of my experience with Vacation Care and no one elses. I personally will not use them again and their responses to customers reviews is downright disgusting

This car parking service is shockingly bad. Tried as main airport services were stated to be full. The shuttle bus is rickety and driven carelessly. The man receptionist is as rude as they come. Most unprofessional. On return from vacation kept my family waiting for nearly an hour before another equally rickety badly driven bus showed up to take us back to our car. Very rude staff. No apologies. I was so relieved our car was in one piece that the incandescence of my rage at this sloppy service melted away. Avoid this horrible service. If there is an ombudsman regulating these services this one needs scrapping. Never to be used again for sure.

Brilliant service booked just the day before my holiday drive to car park got took straight airport then waited 10 mins to be collected car waiting to jump straight in 5 star for me .. thanks very much
Cars are being used for entertainment
Friendly staff and reasonable cost for a week's parking.
However, after handing over my keys while waiting for the minibus to the airport the staff openly argued about a driver who could not get out of bed and that they would have to use an unqualified driver to transport us to the airport due to lack of staff. The minibus was very poor with very wobbly seats, After returning, the pick up was efficient and had no problems. When we picked up our car the radio was set full volume on a rap music station and the car smelled of cannabis and continues to do so two days later. I think cars left with this company are being used for entertainment and would not use this company again.
Just Book Directly with Airport Instead!
Problems:
1. Company trading under different names on comparison sites ('Vacation Care' & 'Simply Park & Ride Manchester'). I had booked the latter, and there were no signs for it which was a nuisance, but more importantly just seems dodgy.
2. Their office stinks of cannabis.
3. Charged an extra £10 on arrival for airport transfer (apparently due to drop off fees at airport, however this is nonsense as the bus was going to the airport whether I was on it or not). At the same time as charging me extra, guy in the office rubbed my nose in it telling me how much money I'd wasted by not booking directly with them.
4. Your car is not parked on site, they take it down the road, and the drivers are far from careful.
5. Minibus driver outbound was sensible, inbound driving it like he stole it, minibus was battered, seats, & seatbelts in poor condition, door would not shut properly and inside handle missing.
6. Staff attitude on the phone.

Summary:
Another time I would just book airport parking directly with the 'official' airport parking and accept the higher price.

I agree with previous reviews,dirty minibus transfer to Manchester Airport,I was concerned what state my car would be in on my return,it had extra 22 miles on the clock!!! WHY.Driver was happy and chatty but left me to load 7 suitcases on minibus.

There aren't words to describe how bad this company is. It needs to be reported to Trading Standards.
We arrived at circa 5am for our flight, to be told that there were no drivers available for an hour... were we in a hurry, heck no, only got a plane to catch! The guy on the desk told us we'd have to make our own way to the airport. Not even a taxi number! £30 later a taxi has provided our 'free shuttle to the airport'.
When we arrived home, I called and asked to be picked up. We had the luggage in front of us, fresh from the carousel. I called the number and asked to be collected. "have you got your luggage' I confirmed we had, he said 'No you haven't and hung up'!!!!!
I called back, we need picking up "can't hear you pal, signal is to bad'. Hung up.
Called third time and said you can flipping hear me just fine. We were told to meet at a carpark, he's be 10 minutes. We got there just as the minibus arrived... for another couple, so we got on the minibus. The driver then had to call the twerp on reception to tell him that he couldn't pick up from T1 (we were T2) because we'd got there in time, and the the families he'd been expecting to collect at T1 would have to wait longer and the T3 driver still hadn't arrived at T3 and there were more passengers than the driver could take. If we'd arrived at the time he expected us, goodness know how long we'd have been waiting.
Vacation 'care', more like Vacation Couldn't Care. They are a bunch of cowboys and you need to avoid them at all cost, they are a disgrace.
Great Service
After reading the reviews I was a bit worried. We arrived at 4am to be greeted professionally. The minibus was waiting for us, taken to Terminal 1 within 10 minutes. Coming back we rang to say we had landed and collected our luggage and within 10 minutes, Louise, picked us up at 1.45am again with a professional approach and chatty. The car was waiting for us without any damage or additional mileage added. Not sure how people have had bad experiences as ours was great with no hassle and as exactly the same as other companies we have used in the past but cheaper. Would use again.

Best experience I’ve ever had while travelling to Brazil for the week. Turn up with my family thinking I’d be waiting ages but no! There they were waiting for me to arrive, took my luggage (4 Heavy Cases) and loaded them for us, booked in (maximum 3 minutes) got in the bus and straight to the terminal door! The driver was extremely helpful with showing us different landmarks at the airport for us to not get lost when we got back which turned out very very useful! Then when we got back from our holiday which was an amazing time by the way there was massive lines of traffic all backed up and again I was thinking the worst because we just wanted to get home quickly BUT.. We rang them up as instructed too and they directed me to the pick up area which only took 20 minutes to my surprise as the airport was stuck still. We got to our car which was waiting for us outside their office, the bus driver which was super chatty and kept us all laughing all the way back then proceeded to take my luggage and load our car for us! This was 4am and we couldn’t of been any happier as we was all ready for bed! Thank you for being such a great service, we will be back soon!

Racist organization
All went OK with dropping off my car, I even booked it in for a valet for £25.0]..... until my return to the country. I called from the airport to say I was ready, but there was terrible back ground noise, clanging, people shouting, foul language, I couldn't make out what the man on the end was saying. Twice I asked him to talk clearly and loudly due to the noise on their end, and then the attitude started...he started spelling every word of his sentence with a patronising tone, when I told him there was no need for the attitude, he simply said he could hear everything I was saying so he didn't know what my problem was with not being able to hear him. Eventually I got it out of him that we would be picked up. When I asked where? I was told the same place they dropped me off. Nice. Let me try and recall that. When I asked when? He advised 3 minutes. If wasn't there in 3 minutes I would miss my slot. Whatever that meant. I grabbed my elderly mother and rushed as best I could to where I thought we had been dropped off a few weeks before, preventing her from drinking her cup of tea she had been so badly wanting after a 13 hour flight. After 20 minutes, a van, amongst many vans in the preceding time frame, arrived and a man shouted their company name. We dutifully got in. Rest assured, this vehicle was not roadworthy no matter how generous one might want to be.
Regardless, upon arrival at the storage garage, I saw my vehicle waiting, and it looked as if a heard of elephants had flown over and messed on it. Upon entering the office, I now met Mr Attitude. He didn't say a word other than hand me my keys, and said the man who cleans the car has been off sick and literally tossed £25.00 onto the table. At this stage I hadn't said a word. When I looked at him in disbelief he simply said "what?".
At this stage my elderly mother was not in a very good place, I saw I was going to waste my time talking to an imbecile, which would only further upset her, so I picked up the keys, the cash, and walked out, as he shouted after me "have a wonderful holiday ".....because of my accent he obviously thought I was coming on holiday, and couldn't process that I had left my car with them in order to go on holiday. A bizarre experience all in all, which I can only assume was due to racism. Disrespectful. Aggressive. Rude. Not to mention we were transported in what was obviously a vehicle which was illegal, and the fact my car in such a mess when I collected in, I can only imagine what they had done with it. Not worth my time and energy to argue with a man who obviously had an issue with me for some strange reason.

WARNING! They charge an extra £10 per person to take you to and from the airport so add this to the cost you're going to pay.
This is a very basic service with minibuses in poor condition and drivers who drive as fast as possible throwing you around in the back. I would not use them again.

Everything was easy, just ring 15 minute before getting there. They are waiting ready for you. Just drop you car off and get taken to the airport. Quick and easy. On the way back i rang them when i was out of baggage claim and they were there within 5 minutes. I will definitely use them again. Top service and Top Lads!
