Absolutely brilliant company with a great selection of doors and windows in a variety of styles. The website is extremely user friendly. Was able to seamlessly design what I needed to get the job done... See more

WARNING
This company has gone into liquidation owing (amongst many others) a small, local charity thousands of pounds. Deposits totalling almost £3000 were taken for 7 doors that have not been supplied.
The two companies below are registered at the same address with the same sole director. That director has multiple limited companies, some registered with two forenames, some with only one.
1. UK Composite Doors Ltd. You can check this on the Companies House website Company number 14555880.
2. MR Home Improvement Ltd trading as Value Doors and Windows Company number 14448469.
I left a truthful review on UK Composite Doors Ltd and was threatened with legal action for defamation if I did not take it down. My solicitor confirmed that there was no case to answer as the statements I made were entirely accurate.
As a Trustee of a small, local charity that has lost money, I do not have the time resources to become embroiled in a legal battle, even when I know I would win. I have taken down that review and replaced it. My efforts will be better directed to trying to replace the money that has been, effectively, stolen from our charity.
Claim they are not trading but companies house says otherwise
I have an issue with a window installed and they claim that they have stopped trading and that I should raise it with the insurance that they set up.
Attempted to deal with Installsure and they have refused to assist as the company is still listed as trading.
If you are about to buy from then then think twice. If you have bought with them then they are unlikely to offer you any aftercare - so you may want to consider your options with your bank etc.

BEWARE! No More Aftercare and Poor Quality Door
Aftercare is non-existent — the aftercare phone number 01924 601 888 on website is no longer in service and there is no email to contact. When I called, the message simply said, “Sorry, the phone number is not found.”
The door was poorly made and badly installed. Within just a few months, water started penetrating at the bottom due to poor sealing. The trim and sealant are already damaged.
The lock is poor and very hard to turn, especially when the door is heated by sunlight. Sometimes I have to use the back door to get out — a serious safety hazard that could be life-threatening in an emergency.

Poor Experience – Ongoing Issues and No Accountability
I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Value Doors. My experience has been incredibly frustrating, and the issues remain unresolved.
I ordered a composite door based on a clear design that I shared multiple times with the company. Despite this, the wrong door was installed. In an attempt to rectify the issue, the installation team sprayed parts of the door using rattle cans — a method I made clear I was not comfortable with. The result was a poor-quality, substandard finish that falls far short of the factory-standard appearance I was promised. Given the cost of the door, this is simply unacceptable.
After raising the issue immediately, I was reassured that someone named Gary would be in touch to resolve it. I followed up multiple times and was repeatedly told he would reach out — but that never happened. I’ve now been waiting over 55 days with no meaningful contact or resolution.
Although the installers were polite, they approached me directly about the complaint, which felt inappropriate. More importantly, I later found out from a second opinion that the door isn’t secure. Even when it’s locked, it can be pulled open slightly at the top corner — a serious security concern for any homeowner.
Despite sending video evidence and clear communication, nothing has been done. The lack of aftercare and accountability is incredibly disappointing.
Worryingly, I’ve since learned that this company has a pattern of rebranding and changing names, which appears to be a way to avoid responsibility for poor service. This should be a major red flag for anyone considering them.
Thankfully, I paid using their finance option, so I’ve been able to raise a Section 75 claim to try and recover my money. But many customers may not have this protection — and could be left with a faulty product and no support.
I expected far better, both in terms of product and service. If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances.
Absolutely terrible experience
Absolutely terrible experience. First of all we had to pay everything before installation which was the opposite of what was stated when we paid the deposit. They delivered doors months earlier than installation so we had to store massive bi-fold doors in our garage. Installers never turned up on day of install and I had no phone call to say why - i had to call them to find to which they responded that i had talked to the installer to rearrange, i think i would have remembered that happening. Installer did not turn up a second time and had to rearrange again off my own back. During installation my new patio was damaged - this was however rectified by the installer. Door seal also damaged during installation and this was supposed to be rectified and it never has been after multiple emails to the company. I have also tried to call both numbers and they are no longer recognised so I'm assuming they are no longer operating.
Poor instruction ruined expensive doors
We ordered a front and back composite door from value doors. There was a minor hiccup with the lock but that was resolved.
The biggest problem is that the doors are covered in a film. We are amidst a new build so we thought the film would add some protection until we moved in.
The film has baked onto the doors and completely ruined the finish. We have tried so many way to get it off without success. The doors have a wood grain, so you cannot use a scraper. We contacted value doors who spoke to the manufacturer who stated we should have removed the film immediately. Not very helpful. We have contacted customer service several times and they do not reply.
They were expensive doors as we did mot want to skimp on the essentials but they look awful.
We delayed writing this review in the hope Value doors would offer a solution.
Do not use!
Value doors installed our doors wrong and never completed the installation. They do not answer our emails and calls and will not fix this. Do not use!
No contact for remedial work
we have had windows and doors installed, one window does not open or close. we cannot get hold of them to return to fix.
Poor quality products proceed with caution
A shame that this company's fantastic customer service and sales support is let down by such poor quality products. Regretting our decision to use this company after multiple post-installation call outs.
Back door with grids stuck to glass pane - does not stick and keeps lifting. Repeated efforts of reapplying tape are pointless as does not hold.
Rubber at the bottom of French Doors repeatedly coming away or tearing. Replaced twice in the first 9 months and no explanation as to why it keeps happening. 3rd replacement due but slow responses from company have us waiting nearly 2 months. Looks like we are stuck with inferior quality goods until we can afford to have them replaced with something better.
Do not order from here
Do not order from here. Once they got your money they will ignore you and your phone will be on there block list. I had to call with a withheld number.
Horrible experience- Value doors…
Horrible experience- Value doors started out well with designing my door and sidelights, payment was made in May saying doors will be ready to be installed in 4-6weeks.
Finally got a delivery date for 3rd July and install for 9th of July.
Been unable to reach anyone, no contact from the company. THANKFULLY got my money back through my bank and cancelling finance with the finance company they worked with. They have gone bust yet still have their website on. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY ONLINE

Avoid at all costs – took full payment and left me with unfinished, damaged doors
Absolutely disgraceful service from Value Doors. They took full payment upfront and left me with half-finished doors and damaged components. It’s now been two months of total radio silence, no calls, no updates, no resolution.
I contacted them again on 23rd June, making it clear how unacceptable this was but obviously, no reply. When the doors were delivered amongst other imperfections, one of the handles was damaged. I was notified that someone would come and fit a new one but instead I received a replacement handle in the post, but no one has come to fit it or complete the job. Since then, nothing. No communication. No aftercare. No responsibility.
They’ve taken my money and vanished – leaving me with incomplete, substandard work on my home. I now have to waste time chasing them or escalating the issue formally, which is unacceptable from any company, let alone one dealing with people’s homes and security.
Avoid at all costs. Once they’ve been paid, you’ll be completely ignored.

Contacting this company is absolutely…
Contacting this company is absolutely impossible. We had a window that was damaged on delivery. They promised to fit a new one once it had been delivered, approx 7 days, 14 days later I’m still trying to contact them, eventually we get a call saying it will be replaced the following Saturday, (nearly 3 weeks from original installation) I get things happen and delays happen but absolutely zero correspondence from this company to let me know anything. Since then we have had 2 keys snap in locks and one window that just won’t open but once again can I get in touch with anybody from this company? The sales man won’t answer his phone, thanks for nothing Josh parkin and emails and voicemails constantly go unanswered. 4 weeks since reporting the window not opening, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE 😡

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! COMPANY HAS GONE INTO LIQUIDATION
I ordered a new front door on 25 June 2025 and was informed that the company has gone into liquidation despite taking a deposit.

Value Doors are no more, they went BUST!
They went BUST! Took full payment, never delivered
I paid nearly £7,000 in full for a doors and windows that was repeatedly delayed. Communication slowly declined and last week all phone lines and emails went dead. No updates, no delivery, nothing. It’s clear now the company has gone bust. Based on recent reviews, many others are in the same situation. If you’re in the same boat, raise a chargeback or Section 75 claim immediately.
