I will highly say stay away from this company. I ordered the doors and the windows, paid the 25%. I was promised to receive my goods within 3 to 4 weeks. I received no update but empty promises. Fourth week came, the builders were ready for the doors unfortunately they never came. When I chased, I was sent an email saying that they can NO LONGER fulfill my order. I had to borrow money, find new suppliers and keep the project going with an extra costs every day. The amount of stress they have caused is unmeasurable.

Value Doors is a scam
After ordered the new composite front door and paid the deposit 30% and remaining amount with installment, i did not get nothing, they supposed to deliver and install it on 2 July 2025, but never showed up and never answered the phones and my emails. I have contacted the other company who do the financing called: Novuna and they asked me to submit a claim which i just did it. Value doors ref: VD-6275, and my claim ref: CF183980. Avoid this company and their website. I am still searching and thinking how i can get my money back.

*Scam artists* This company and 'Usama'…
*Scam artists* This company and 'Usama' (if thats even his real name) initially took my money through the website, then said that I needed to pay into a revolute account instead. They refunded the money and then I stupidly paid through the alternative link. They are not answering calls or emails and I have received no delivery date as promised. It appears a lot of people are in a similar situation with them. Avoid like the plague!!!

Doors are sticking and now the company is uncontactable - I think out of business.
So you’ve replied to say sorry about my issue but not contacted me directly, replied to me emails or offered any kind of solution. The fitter (your contractor) is now blocking my calls too. I’ll be pursuing this through trading standards and the consumer rights act.

Company gone bust. Got my money and door was meant to be installed today. All phone lines are now turned off and looks like company no longer operating based on recent reviews although you can still order through the website.

Value door not trading.
Hi, I placed an order with Value Door in February. I just realised last week that the company has just gone out of business. Today, UK composite door reached out, saying they have taken over this company and will send a site surveyor next week. Post the survey once I pay 25% my order will go into manufacturing and then balance on date on installment. Do you think it's legit? Anyone with similar experiences of UK composite door reaching out?

Received a call today to advise company…
Received a call today to advise company can no longer fulfill orders. Looks like some may need to liaise with their banks/credit card companies for s 75
PLEASE ALSO NOTE The company, as recently as Friday morning are still trying to take orders without advising of their situation. I spoke with them and they said this is just their trading name and that they are ‘UK composite doors’. I asked if they were a different company why are orders being taken from value doors? I advised them they were deliberately misleading customers which is not right!!They could not offer an explanation and instead very quickly came off the phone and said they would discus with management. Be very careful as they are clearly still trying take orders with no intention of supplying.

Gone out of business - Do not attempt to order
Do not place any orders with this company.
I chased an install date after paying nearly £3,000 deposit. I got a response which is as follows:
"Unfortunately Home Windows are not in a trading position to fulfil your order.
Please initiate a chargeback or a section 75 claim via your debit or credit card company to recoup funds paid to date."
I see this aligns with a number of recent negative reviews. Everyone needs to start issuing disputes with their credit/debit card companies

Very poor aftercare
If I could, I would give 0 star rating. I found this company online and thought they would be ideal for my parents as their front doors supposedly come with 10 year warranty. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
1- when the front door was installed the engineer sealed it with decorative caulk instead of sealant - and that too white in colour which mismatched our grey door. It didn’t dry for weeks and kept leaking.
2- it was difficult to get someone on the phone to help. when I finally got someone to help (which took a while) . They booked the same engineer to fix the issue . The engineer didn’t turn up on the date promised and when I complained to the company the engineer called me up was aggressive and swore at me. It was awful.
3. The company finally rearranged another engineer to come and see me. He was friendly and professional . He identified many issues with the door installation and resolved them (which also included ordering extra parts which should have come with the door)
4- 6 months on- the door latch system is jamming which means anyone in the house gets stuck indoors . This is a safety concern. I contacted the company over email and no response. I even tried calling their numbers but lines are not connecting. I’m really concerned for the safety of my parents - especially if they get locked in which would mean a locksmith would have to be called out urgently and that could also cause damage to the door.
The aftercare is so poor and it’s been a really draining and stressful experience. It’s caused a lot of anxiety to me and my family. I hope this honest review would help someone make the write decision. Because if I could go back I would never choose this company again.

Worried that something has happened to…
Worried that something has happened to the company as suddenly you cannot get hold of anyone, their phone lines are down and have been for 5 days, they don’t reply to emails and they read and don’t reply to Facebook messages ? Is anyone else the same? Communication was great up until I’ve paid my deposit, the reviews were also promising at that point, 3 weeks ago, now it’s radio silence. I suspect the company may fold and they are not being transparent with their customers.

Communication is key to good customer service. Delivery time given 3-4 weeks..actual delivery 8 weeks. 19 calls I made, 2 joiners arriving to no door arrival cost to me £40. 1st call reason for non delivery HUMAN ERROR 2nd call HUMAN ERROR, subsequent calls beyond anyone's control, I even called Comp Doors. The only good part of the whole process was the delivery, quick and easy. It is difficult to get someone to answer a call...when my door arrived the bottom lock was chrome instead of black...I have sent an email to request this...the door itself is lovely, your customer service is letting you down.

Front door installation
I have read previous reviews about the poor communication between the office and the customer and will confirm that they are sluggish in responding to questions.
They are well priced and must be overwhelmed but this does detract from the customer experience.
Email was found to be best and when dealing in this way I found them to be efficient and helpful.
The installer Ian was excellent in every respect and it was obvious that he was capable of undertaking far more complex installations than I had ( single front door installation).
Excellent job and money well spent. The only detracting factor as mentioned, and which is often the case in growing companies is the back up to the people on the front line.
I hope they employ more in the office if this is required and will be using them and requesting Ian for future projects.
Would have been 5 stars if I had been using just email from the start.

I would strongly urge anyone…
I would strongly urge anyone considering Value Doors to look elsewhere. My experience has been nothing short of appalling. I arranged a survey, and the surveyor assured me he would attend and call me 30 minutes prior to arrival. Not only did he fail to show up, but I received no call, no explanation, and absolutely no follow-up.
I made repeated attempts to contact both the surveyor and Value Doors’ customer service team – all ignored. There was zero communication, zero accountability, and no effort to rectify the situation.
This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable from any company, let alone one handling paid customer orders. I have since cancelled my order and demanded a refund, as I have lost all trust in their ability to deliver even the most basic service.
Save yourself the stress and disappointment – avoid Value Doors at all costs.

Would Recommend
Guy I called with was very helpful, made the process easy and straight forward.
Door looks great, quite simple to instal, my first time buying a door so I gave the measurements of my opening thinking that would be the size of the frame and door but that's my own mistake and was fixed quite easily by just cutting the opening bigger.
Lead time was reasonable, about 2.5/3 weeks and turned up on the day that they told me it would.
