Value Doors and Windows Reviews 

Ordered new front and rear doors at a good price. They were manufactured and installed promptly to a high standard. Very pleased with looks and quality, no more draugts and maintenance free.

Following my experience, I would recommend you avoid both Value Doors, UK Composite Doors and Home Windows who apparently are essentially the same company and confuse orders between the different websites.
I wanted a maroon front door and was looking at UK Composite Doors who offered a burgundy option. I rang with a query and was told I was speaking to Value Doors which was the same company. I said I’d order on-line if I wanted to proceed but he was very keen to make the sale and took my telephone number and rang me a number of times. I was under quite a lot of stress at the time and eventually gave in and he made out the order for me working out the technical details which I wasn’t sure of himself. I had only ever wanted the burgundy colour so there was no room for the salesman to misunderstand me. The order came back to me on email (from UK Composite Doors) to check and confirm; the pictures looked exactly as I expected but as I didn’t understand the technical aspects and was under stress, I didn’t check the details thoroughly.
The delivery driver lent the door against a wall with the outside face hidden and it was too heavy for me to move so it wasn’t until my builder had fitted it that I saw the colour on the outside face. It is a dark brown wood effect, one of the last colours I would ever order. Looking back at the email order I found the colour was listed as Rosewood. Looking at the websites of Value Doors and UK Composite Doors I discovered that on my laptop screen the 2 colours looked the same, obviously an issue with how colour appears on screens.
I phoned UK Composite Doors (again answered as Value Doors), to discuss the situation. I was told that they didn’t offer the colour burgundy, implying I was either lying or stupid. Value Doors don’t, but I had ordered from UK Composite Doors site and was looking at them on their website as we spoke and sent a photo to prove it. None the less I was ultimately told they could do nothing and quoted the T&CSs to justify.
I’m aware I didn’t make checks as the T&Cs require, there were genuine reason for that and I feel Value Doors / UK Composite Doors are hiding behind the small print. I don’t think it’s coincidence that on screen maroon and rosewood look the same, or that, even though the UK Composite Doors website exists, the staff say they work for Value Doors. It seems likely to me that the salesman who hassled me into placing the order with him made it “fit” what Value Doors could supply, even though the colour was not what I asked for. Now I’m stuck with a front door I would never have ordered.
So beware! My experience suggests Value Doors / UK Composite Doors / Home Windows and their staff are more concerned about getting your money than worrying about what you actually tell them you want and will rely on small print to get away with it.

I would highly recommend Value Doors. The process was hassle free from start to finish. Every member of staff I dealt with was extremely helpful. The door was fitted to a high standard and was great quality.

DO NOT USE. Absolutely appalling customer service and terrible installation. We were left with unsafe doors that were not bolted into the frame, an engineer who consistently cancelled last minute or didn’t turn up and door trims that fell off 1 day after being installed. Avoid at all costs.

The beading was cracked / broken.
The installer left the old French doors in my skip that had been hired for a separate purpose and did not ask beforehand.
When I complained the doors were collected. (Thank you)
I am still waiting for the beading to be replaced. The first slot was a month after the original installation and despite asking they would not give a morning or afternoon slot meaning I have to wait in from 8am - 6pm.
It's a pity as the after care service has coloured my otherwise positive experience.

I have seen your reply - thank you - but an indication of morning or afternoon for the remedial work was requested and would still be really helpful

The quote was easy to get and then a date was arranged for Charlie to come and check the measurements. The door turned up on time and Charlie fitted it quickly with no mess.

Professional and friendly service. He did an amazing job with the installation of my front door. Cleared up all the mess and took the old material away. I would recommend using this company.

From designing our door to the installation, everything has been smooth and efficient.
Designed the door on the website, received a phone call a couple of hours later to confirm and book in the survey. (I messed around with the design several times and they were happy to adjust)
Survey called the same day and booked in for the upcoming Saturday which was convenient.
Within two weeks the door was delivered and then a couple of days later it was fitted.
The people who we dealt with were pleasant and they were able to adjust the door to our liking. (The website didn’t have the knocker we wanted but they were able to source on and put it on the door for us).
All round great experience.

We ordered a front door, a set of Bi Fold doors (5 panes) and 2 roof lanterns all with a RAL Coded colour, The service from Paul in sales was fantastic, he was so patient with us, while we confirmed colours, sizes and spec and kept us updated throughout the whole process. The delivery of the bifold door was seamless, however the lanterns arrived with a couple of pieces missing,It wasn't an issue as The missing pieces were couriered next day. The front door was delayed a couple of days but so worth the wait. We are absolutely thrilled with the final fitted products and highly recommend their services and the quality of the items we purchased, all at the most competitive price, the couple of delivery issues did not cause us too much hassle overall .

The overall experience is good. The new door looks good. It is a bit expensive; however, once it's done, it's done. The fitter is gentle and did a good job as well.

Had my composite door fitted today and am one happy satisfied customer. Ian came early afternoon and job completed in no time at all to a very high standard. Overall effect stunning. Nothing was too much trouble for him. To top it all, I paid £500 less than another quote for the exact same door. Result!

Very friendly and prompt service, door looks good

I ordered two doors and a window and was given a delivery for the items . On the day of the proposed delivery nothing turned up. I called to find out where my doors were, someone said they would call me back but nobody did . I called the next day and customer service service had no knowledge for the non delivery . They called me later to say the delivery partner had had a loading problem , they did not think to inform anyone. I was told I would get my delivery 4 days later. When the delivery arrived I received just the two doors and no window . On ringing customer service they told me the window would be arriving in about two weeks , which wasn’t much use as I needed the doors and the windows at the same time. Also as part of the delivery instructions received by text I was told that the driver would call me 1 hour before the time of delivery , which didn’t happen . Fortunately I was in when the delivery arrived.
From the website site it gives you the impression that the windows and doors are made in house, this is not the case as it is evident that outside manufacturers are used so Value doors has no control of delivery dates.
I have not fitted the doors as yet so cannot comment on the quality.
Overall very disappointed

These guys provided the door 3x faster than anyone else could. Door exactly as ordered and really happy with the quality.

Really happy so far with my door that was installed today. Although there was a delay with fitting it, the installation today was clean, professional and I’m overall very pleased
