Exceptional care
I have received exceptional care from VCA in Plano Tx from day one. From the office staff, Dr Vayugegula, NP Shelly and medical assistants everyone has been very knowledgeable, polite and efficient. All my appts have been on time, treatment and expectations were all explained to me. So far, I am very pleased with my results and my legs feel a lot better.

Overselling treatements that contradicted the clinician's recommendation
The clinicians were friendly except for one who seemed more interested in talking about her expensive car and lifestyle--she moved to a different location. The procedures were not completely successful. I wanted to understand more about what occurred during the procedure. A poster on the wall showed it clearly. I asked for a copy of the poster, was told they would get me one, but they did not. The rooms are cold and while some locations offer blankets, the location I used did not. The major flaw is in overselling. The clinician would tell me to come back in two months which was how long it would take to see if the veins had actually died. The receptionist tried to schedule me in 4-6 weeks. I explained to her what the clinician said and she would still try to sell me a package or an appointment in 4-6 weeks.
Fabulous Spider Vein Treatment
Suzanne just did my most recent spider vein treatment. Throughout the procedure she was absolutely wonderful. I was so happy with her services that I signed up for another treatment.

The Vein Clinic Arlington TX
With regards to The Vein Clinic at 4000 Five Points Blvd ArlingtonTX, I've had approximately 10-12 appointments and I've never been late or missed an appointment. On 5/3/22 I called ahead to inform clinic I was running about 10 minutes late for post-treatment sonogram scan of my legs. I arrived under 10 minutes and was told they could only scan one leg because it takes 30-45 minutes per leg and my co-pay is $60. I was informed I will have to schedule for the other leg and pay another $60. I had some concerns with one leg and felt I wanted to make sure it was healing properly. The sonogram tech completed the scan of the left leg in exactly 12 minutes and stated he couldn't scan the other because the scheduler/front desk person stated he can only scan one leg. I told him it was stated to me by front desk person it took 30-45 minutes per leg by someone with no qualifications beyond the front desk and there was plenty of time to complete the scan on both. The sonogram tech left the room to ask the front desk person about completing the sonogram and I followed him repeating the lie she told me and there was time to complete the scan on both both legs. Her response was more about me being late as if she was scolding me verses the lack of time to complete the sonogram of my other leg and assuring both legs were healing properly. I have since received a letter from the doctor dismissing me from the practice for "belligerent" behavior as was described by the same staff that created my anger. The letter and doctor's reactions suggested bias belief in accepting his staffs explanation of events and no concerns of my well-being.

I am pleased with the attention and care I receive at VCA. From my initial consultation through three hour long treatments, I experienced high levels of professionalism and compassion. I was apprehensive about receiving treatments, but Joanie and Christine were incredible. They communicated throughout and checked in frequently to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. I am happy I chose to get the treatments and look forward to the improvements in my legs.

The only reason I'm giving this company 2 stars is because the nurse was great. Otherwise, it would be 1 star. Like I mentioned in my google review, after getting sclerotherapy on both legs there was a nickel sized area that was left untreated, looks like a bruise. I called to ask if I could come back in for that area to get retreated and the rude front desk lady told me I would have to pay for a full 1-leg treatment, $175. I told her I don't need a full treatment, just a touchup in the small area and she was rude and told me I'd have to come in so they could look at it but it would still be full price. I didn't feel like she cared, didn't have room for compassion or exceptions. I felt like a number and for that reason, I will not be back.

I had been happy with the thread vein treatment up to now. This time the nurse changed and I bruised badly, my legs on the day and for a couple of days after looked awful with red streaks that I have never walked away with in the past. Previously the injection sites looked more like bee stings. I am afraid to return for the other treatments I bought as part of the package as I still have bruising and it is summer now.

I called the Plano office today snd they still weren’t transferred to Prosper. Someone from Plano office delivered them to Prosper after my call. Your texts did not say which office, but I had prearranged the Prosper location. Another couple came in last week right after me and they didn’t look happy.
