Excellent service and support from Venn Group

My experience with Venn Group has been outstanding from start to finish. The team of Myles (Pippa and Megan) I dealt with were professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right role. A great company

A great company, they have a focused approach to employment engagement with candidates that is orientated around suitability not commissions. A refreshing approach. Definitely would recommend to both employers and to candidates.

Don't recommend

Don't recommend, sick of them calling you for a role, even then mess it up when it comes to who contacts you for thr same role from their recruitment consultants,then only for you to send your cv -get you excited about being considered, then nothing! Happens everytime, been over 3 roles only to get told after chasing/checking in that the "job is on hold,sorry". Unreliable. Don't know where they getting some job roles from that this happes so often with them.will ignore their job propersittions from now on.my old manager blocked them as they kept calling to enquire about any new role to work with them as agency, make you wonder why,she can smell chaos from a mile.

Recently come off a job for Venn only a weeks work but couldn’t complain at the effort from Finn walker. Never had someone with so much passion and drive to get someone into work, he’s a real credit to your team. Cause of him I’d definitely work for Venn again, stayed in contact through out and got situations resolved very quick, spot on bloke and agency

Stay well away!

Stay well away from this organisation.Totally incompetent. They lied from start to finish!Wrote a contract contradicted itself and did not clearly state working conditions. From my experience I dont think they had any interest in the job role, client or employees welfare only in filling their own bank account. The communication was awful. Kept changing their story to suit. But no responsibility. Acting friendly but clearly no idea what they were doing. Now waiting to see if they will actually have the decently to pay me as they completely wasted my time and could have damaged my reputation

How to Report Venn Group to the Regulator

My experience began in April last year and is still ongoing. There are too many issues to enumerate here but dealing with Venn Group has cost me a measure of my health. Like many of the people commenting, my experience related to conduct by agency staff, not least continuing to contact me when I asked them not to and them attempting to enable the client not to pay me money owed. (I was paid in the end, but I had to negotiate this myself. Meanwhile Venn Group kept contacting me trying to get me to back off. Now that I have complained about their conduct, they're attempting to take credit for the payment.)
Venn Group introduced me to a predatory umbrella company (saying that this company was one of their best and doing the hard sell). Due to misrepresentations, I was out of pocket every week for 6 months. This is money that I cannot recover.
Contractors and agency workers are protected by employment legislation. Recruitment agencies are not entitled to mislead, misrepresent or manipulate individuals who register with them. They are making a significant profit from interim placements.
If you have concerns about Venn Group or any other agency you can raise a complaint with the regulator. As with any issue, the more complaints received, the more likely the regulator is to follow up quickly. (This service is different to ACAS.)

Don’t want to pay weekends properly

The SAD thing is I started with them the good one is coming now the wages is not so bad but now is coming the bad one doesn’t want to pay extra for the weekend work when I told them is see to me is only flat rate if you don’t want to come in the weekend is no problem is somebody else coming.Is so SAD this things

Unsolicited communications via WhatsApp and incredibly unprofessional. Open conversations with ‘Hello’ and nothing more, then once you respond proceed to talk/text like a moody teenager.

Not recommended it the slightest.

Clowns

Take a day off and Venn group will phone your family, make them think you're dead, get the police involved and then not pay you for the day you did work. Absolute shambles of a company. The amount of stress they'll make for you is a joke.

This agency is so poor

This agency is so poor, it’s a wonder anyone gets anything done. They pick & choose who they give work to & don’t answer emails or return phone calls if you’re not a favourite. There are loads of jobs in London in my field but not according to my inbox. It’s fine as there are better agencies who don’t lie & who pay better rates. Avoid them
