Really poor behaviour from Customer…

Really poor behaviour from Customer Service. Told me I can't have a refund as I closed my account. I did it when i saw they took 192 pounds out of my account with no notification. Was rudely told, you can't have a refund as you closed your account. So please avoid all dating sites with links to thus company. They will rip you off with no care or consideration for their customers.

This company/site makes it hard for…

This company/site makes it hard for you to cancel your membership and then deducts money from your account without your consent, when you request for a refund they deliberately refuse and their agents have a poor customer service.
Stay away from this site and its owners who have zero care towards their users.

MatureLove Site what a joke

I joined MatureLove in Australia about 10 days ago and paid a 3 month subscription and then on the weekend I seemed to join one of their affiliated dating site called SilverSeniorDating of which they conveniently used my email address and password provided for the original site. When I realised you could not cancel this membership until 48 hours if left only a 24 hour window to cancel a second subscription of which I did not need or want. As I was 12 hours late to cancel my subscription they billed me for $362.95 this morning for 12 months. I have contacted them immediately but they are saying that I still need to pay for a 6 month subscription!! This is totally unacceptable and taking advantage of vulnerable people.

Dating Scam

I joined Only Christians Dating and I unsubscribed in May. Two days ago my account reinstated and they took over £100. I even had a welcome email and started receiving emails about different men. I have made contact but they are refusing to give me back my money. It is a complete scam.

I had received some support saying I had not cancelled, but I know that I did and especially receiving a welcome email says that my account was reinstated.

I still have had no response. This is a terrible company. I have not received an email to give the details needed and so I put on the review but nothing to help me.

Listen to the other reviews DO NOT enter your card details into this site. I cancelled my subscription and deleted my account(I have proof) around 6 months ago but these guys still charged me. If my money isn't returned today I'll report them to the financial ombudsman which will cost them 250 and if all these reviews reported them they would get shut down.

Mature Cumbria Dating - The worst dating site I have ever used

Update... Venttro contacted me and I emailed the information they requested but it bounced back (the user unfriendly journey continues) I joined Mature Cumbria Dating on a several day trial offer for £1.99. I couldn't find how much it would cost to continue after the trial period (despite never having had a problem with any of the the other 3 dating sites I had tried). It did say when I first started the trial, but then I couldn't find it again. I was frustrated about having my time wasted and the poor user experience and tried to cancel but couldn't find where to cancel. The only thing I could find was some misleading links which didn't make clear the consequence if I clicked on them (such as committing to a financial commitiment membership of the site which I didn't want to do). As I had found this the worst site I had ever been on, by far, I did not want to continue. This was underlined by not being able to find an email to ask for help and instead I was bounced around to several other adverts for other products that presumably Venttro benefits from. They took my money for membership when I didn't want them to and couldn't stop them as I looked for over an hour.
I have a PhD in Digital so it's not like I'm an amateur at these things. I knew that if I was having problems there would be hundreds if not thousands of other hacked off "customers".
I contacted my MP as I couldn't find out how to contact Mature Cumbria Dating to get a refund on my membership they had taken after the inital £1.99 offer. My MP couldn't find a way to contact them so contacted Facebook to try and access them via their Facebook page and also recommended contacting trading standards. He heard nothing and I heard nothing when I tried posting a message.
After about an hour of time wasting I managed to find out that Venntro owned this site and emailed them but was met with indifference.
I have since been helped by Consumer Which Legal Service when it took us an unacceptable amount of time to access terms and conditions. The cancellation was (in my view consciously) made difficult to find and the text size is far too small for anyone with eye-sight over the age of 40 (how convenient for a dating sight for older people) - a clear sign that the website is badly designed and not customer friendly but profit driven without reasonable regard to customer experience. Please refund me Venntro, and if you have any scruples, give me a goodwill gesture for the way you have caused time wasting and stress (now about 3 hours). As somebody with a disability you sure made it a lot worse.

Do not give this company your card details

This is a company that ignores membership cancellations and will continue to charge you after they have confirmed the cancellation.

If you block their payment with your bank they have sneaky ways to get around it. They can change their company name or merchant ID. Also once I logged in after reverting to free membership and they said doing so reactivated my membership! There was nothing in the terms and conditions about this.

To prevent this do not use any of their white label services always check the name of the company behind the dating websites. If you do and decide to cancel your membership ask them to delete your details in line with GDPR. Cancelling your debit card is an option but that us a bit of hassle.

I have lodged a second dispute with my bank and Venntro has said they will refund.

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WHITE CHRISTIAN WOMEN. I joined one of their sites for friendship and maybe more. A man who wasn't suitable contacted me but didn't like we weren't a match. So he insulted me and my religion. I reported him to the site but they removed my profile and not his. They asked for more information here, but I'm no longer a member so how is that possible? When I reported him they had all the information yet ignored me.

Scam company

Scam company, attempted to steal money from me last night, unfortunately for them my bank stopped it, it's a shame you can't earn money legitimately. Will pursue this fraud attempt with my bank.

Venntro are now trying to persuade Trust pilot that my review is fake by saying the email address I gave them doesn't match their records. What a load of nonsense.

I didn’t know who Venntro was until…They withdrew £148.74 unauthorised from my bank.

I didn’t know who Venntro was until yesterday when I discovered that they are to do with dating sites. I looked them up because Venntro have taken 2 unauthorised payments from my bank account. One withdrawal in May 2023 for £74.53 and another payment for £74.21 just 3 days ago on November 3rd. As a disabled pensioner I am in shock. I have informed my bank and they in turn will involve the police. I can’t get through to anyone at Venntro and judging by other reviews their Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired. I’ll leave it up to my bank and the Police to investigate.

A dreadful scam company

A dreadful scam company. I joined a site for senior people. I paid for a minimum subscription but when I accessed messages to me they were from either people a lot younger than me or there wwre very similar messages from different profiles but they weren't in English phraseology. Then they all sent a "blessings to you" message which triggered alarm bells indicating these were online scammers.
Further somehow my email and data was copied to other sites in the group and I was bombarded with unwanted emails about messages.
I tried to stop the subscription and sent a message statimg I wanted all my data removed from their database but received no confirmation
Today I finally found their customer service telephone number and spoke to a hard personality female who was not in the least interested in my experience. When I asked for pro rata refund that was declined because the account had been "active" and I had paid a minimal subscription for least length of time. When money is challenging and you try something which you hope will give you a bit if happiness you certainly do not expect to be treated with such a lack if understanding or empathy!
The venntro media/ white label group is just a scam operation praying on people who seek friendship etc due to dramatic changes in their personal life - avoid at all costs!

No genuine women users, bad service

Women I contacted on the site turned out to be sex workers, not ‘civilians’, so every conversation moved quickly to an invite to a paid camera or a request for an Amazon card. From other users I received messages, replied and never got another reply.
Pop ups are extremely annoying.
The cancellation process is needlessly complex. Currently disputing a charge after cancelling, but can’t send a customer service message until 9am. (Got a notification of that _after_ I typed in the message and pressed send).

[Update: Got a message from their support email - "From looking at your account I am unable to see confirmation that this subscription had been cancelled and so for this reason, we will be unable to issue you with any form of refund for the payment that has already been taken."

So their position is 'we didn't register your request to cancel, so no refund'. I have an email showing that I completed the many, many stages of the pop-up riddled cancellation process. No reputable company would be so dismissive of a customer.]

Spammers/Scammers abound

My experience is that the Planet Rock dating site has never been great, but recently, in my opinion, it has significantly deteriorated in terms of the apparent total lack of measures to control profiles that blatantly promote off-site contact. They are so prolific the site is practically useless.
