Efficient, good communication, great price compared to the other moving companies we asked. I would hire them again for our next move. Very friendly movers who did their best to pack all our things into the van. The stacking of items in the van could have been done a bit better so more things could fit, but we did have a lot of big items after all!

I was in touch with verhuisbedrijfdirect for moving my furnitures from my old house to new house. They provided nice quotation of the work and made the appointment at my desired date and time. On the moving day they called me before they arrive and they arrived as per schedule. Then they took the boxes and furnitures from my house to their truck very carefully and very fast. They secured the boxes well and delivered in my new house. There also they unloaded the boxes and furnitures with care and in desired place. Extremely satisfied with the service. Great work done!

The two movers who helped us were very quick and got everything moved safely. They wrapped furniture there and then and loaded evrything into their truck and unloaded at the next site Took under 4 hours total, they were amicable guys, dealt with us very nicely.

Balk, Riley and Miquel did an absolutely fantastic job. The service from the company as a whole was great from start to finish. They were quick to respond to our inquiry, we had a quote within a day or so and on the day everything was done smoothly and efficiently. Would highly recommend.

I am grateful for the help I got with my moving - I am a foreigner alone in the country. I am especially thankful for the two movers who were friendly, and spoke perfect English.
Organizing the even wasn't that fluent - we had a couple of misunderstandings around the boxes.
The price was suitable, but I was surprised that I had to pay cash.

What a great internal move experience! I had 2 rooms emptied (things moved to other parts of my house). This included dismantling a huge antique cabinet and 2 large beds plus moving other items into nearby spaces. The 2 guys worked quickly and carefully - clearly experienced with taking apart large items including the antique cabinet. They were polite, asked questions, and did the work very neatly. I honestly could not have been happier with the work and highly recommend Verhuisbedrijf Direct!

DO NOT BOOK.

The company provided a quote that was almost half the price of the final price.!! How did they get this so wrong. They charged per hour and grossly underestimated the amount of time it would take to move.

They were very inefficient and lost 2 screws for one of the beds, didn't pack in a sensible order, and put heavy items on top of fragile. Fortunately nothing broke but it could have happened.

Even though I told them more than twice that our load was 25m3 they brought a van that fit 21m3 and this meant they had to do 2 trips which cost more and took more time.

The also went off for lunch in the middle of the day for over 1 hr and this meant they finished after their 8hrs therefore they went into overtime and it cost us more.

Lots more to say (they connected the washing machine but did it so badly it leaked. I have done it myself now!). But to put it simply. DO NOT USE THEM! Poor service, poor prioritisation, not professional at all. I have moved 3 times in 2 years and these guys are the worst.

TO AVOID!!!! THEY OVERCHARGE HOURS AND DAMAGE BELONGINGS - see pictures. MOST HORRIBLE MOVE! (and this was my third move in 2 years)

OVERCHAGED HOURS:
They asked me to pay 240 euros more than the quote they had given me (and they're asking to be paid only with cash!) as a result of deliberate delays:
- They had not booked any parking spaces so they had to move their truck around several times
- I had asked them to pack my belongings but they came to my house without any packing materials. They left twice for one hour to go to the shop to get packing boxes. They didn't buy any material to pack and protect the fragile items
- They went to eat for 45 mins in the middle of the drive between the 2 addresses
- 2 out of the 3 were not professional movers. they were very young and not fit for the job. They did not know how to pack fragile items or how to carry furniture in a safe way. My boyfriend had to himself protect the TV and other fragile items so they don't get damaged. They left furniture and boxes outside in the rain. The bottom of boxes got wet as a result and later dropped on the stairs because they were wet and overcharged;
- They worked at an extremely low pace and were very inefficient. We had to help them pack and carry furniture and boxes all the way
- They didn't come with an invoice pad. The manager later sent me an invoice with no detail of the calculations. I don't know how they arrived at the amount of 815 euros they asked me to pay (and I had a small move, I was moving without a couch, without a bed and without big furniture)
- when we pointed the damages and the overcharged hours to them, they became aggressive and threatened us until we pay them.

DAMAGED BELONGINGS
Numerous objects were broken during the move due to their poor packing and handling of items, as you will see in the photos. They broke an expensive lamp, a clock and numerous fragile items that were gifts and had sentimental value.
- they stacked fragile items in boxes without any protection, and they overcharged the boxes that broke from the bottom during the move
- they didn't protect the lamp and the other furniture;
- they offered to reimburse me only 75 euros as they said they were not covered by the insurance since they didn't pack the objects properly and they said there was an amount of 250 euros they would not reimburse for 'own risk'. This was not written anywhere in the quote and conditions they had sent me.

I intend to pursue them in court. BE CAREFUL and DO NOT BOOK with this company!
