Great service to forward packages from the U.S.

I have used few other shipping services that forward packages from the U.S. but since I started using Viabox, I was hooked.

Their prices are much lower comparing to the rest and their service worked fine every time. I would highly recommend this service to others.

Worked as expected

I bookmarked this service a while ago but I was always hesitant to use it.

Finally used it for some holiday shopping, and it worked as expected. I'll be using again for sure.

Uncertain at the beginning, satisfied at the end.

I´ve ordered an item (handbag on sale) from US Michael Kors to address provided by ViaBox for free. I payed online with card and the item was at ViaBox within two weeks. Firstly I was literally frightened. I came thru a lot of reviews and articles about ViaBox and most of it was pretty bad. The item was quite pricey so I tried to cancel my order at MK but they told me it´s too late to do so. It took about a day or two to find the item on ViaBox website, the photo of the box taken by ViaBox stuff was pretty much unrecognizable - it could be anything. I took the risk and payed for the transport to my country (central europe). I chose Aramex for transport - it was one of the cheapest but still it cost about $130 because of the "Dimensional Weight". It took about a week and my box was in Europe - Great Britain, then it was there for another 12 days and one more day to ship it to my country - I´m not sure why it took so long, maybe because of the Christmas time. I´ve recieved some power of attorney and other stuff from Aramex to fill up and send back to them. They charged another fee - about $30 and I had to pay tax. In total it took about a month to get the item here, but fortunatelly it is here. The MK handbag cost me about the same as if I would buy it in a local shop so it wasnt really a bargain as I thought at beginning. Hope my review was helpful.

Most versatile service and best price, especially taking the `extras` into account.

Saved about half off shipping between U.S. and U.K. Worth using.them for multiple shipments and larger items.
My advice to avoid wasting time and money with them - that unfortunately some people do - take your time to learn the ropes properly (it pays), remember to declare the goods through them beforehand to avoid unnecessary domestic processing fees and really make sure you keep your email conversation concise, since longer emails get lost in translation in my experience.
Photographs of delivered goods clears out any misunderstanding faster since the email communication can be slow (sometimes product details like volume etc from the sender can be inaccurate).

If you do this and get to know the website functions/`tricks` properly and their service is incredibly flexible and versatile with a price that is extremely hard to beat taking into account all the extra features in service.

Bad experience delivering to Canada

I ordered 2 tablets for my children for delivery before Christmas. The items were delivered to the VIAbox warehouse on 15th December. I had to chase up with a couple of emails before they acknowledged that they had received these. Viabox then 'sat on the items' till 19th December before they dispatched. Looking at the tracking status, the packages then left Los Angeles on 22nd december and they are currently showing a delivery date to Canaeda of 28th December!!! That's 2 weeks after the items were delivered to the VIAbox warehouse in Oregon.

That's completely unacceptable. And to make matters worse, they charged me 90 US dollars for the courier service!

I sent Viabox several emails and I found their responses very slow and they did not address the issues that I raised in my emails.

Summary: do not use them if you need your deliveries quickly. also be aware that you will pay through the nose for courier charges and yet you will receive a slow service.

Every thing is free but the shipping cost is very very high

I discover their services by receiving an ad on my browser and decide to test. I bought some shirts and received the package at Viabox. The actual weight is 3lb, but the billable weight is 8lb, the list of shipping cost ranges from 83 USD to 1165 USD !!! I usually pay a half to send my packages to France using another forwarding service.
There is no way to change your forwarding address (I wanted to forward it to my another US address which will send it to me with a much lower cost). So you have no choice : you don't use their service and loose your parcel. Or pay the shipping cost with a super high price.
I don't believe that i can find such a Dishonest service from the USA !!!

I wish I could get lower than 1 star - Absolute disaster

I signed up for Viabox a couple of months ago as I do a bit of shopping each year and also get gifts sent from the US from my relatives. I usually use another company but was lured in by the lower cost option that Viabox said they were. There is nothing cheaper about this service and the additional time it takes to do anything and the inaccurate information that is on their website in relation to shipping companies just makes for a very stressful situation. The only thing is that their customer service is pretty responsive but are incapable of helping most of the time and just give you generic information that is not helpful. I am currently waiting on a shipment that was supposed to be on a 4-8 day shipping service from TNT. What they failed to tell me prior to me booking this shipment was that it takes 2 days to get to TNT and then the service is 10 business days. The last time I checked that is 12 business days. I am so stressed as I have no idea if my children's presents will arrive in time for Christmas. In my opinion they seem to charge a lot more than other forwarding companies for using services like USPS and DHL, which are companies I would normally use and trust. This company may not charge fees for things like consolidation but you will pay for it with time, crazy shipping fees and stress (which nobody wants more of in their life) I really can't see me ever using this service again. Oh and they don't open on Saturdays

Viabox

I have used their services twice and going to ship another lot of items to Malaysia. Items received were satisfactorily packed if compared to MYUS of which i have been a member for a number of years ever since i have been shopping on Ebay.

Everything forwarded safely.

We bought some gadgets on Black Friday from a couple of US web shops & I had Viabox forward then everything to me.

Few days later, all my boxes showed up at our house safely.

Exceeded my expectations

My boxes were sealed with a security tape to make sure no one tampered with them during the transportation. I was impressed with the quality of the packaging. They arrived fast and tracking details was accurate.

Best forwarding company

They always delivered my boxes undamaged and I've used this company more than half a dozen of times in the past years.

Boxes are always professionally packaged and tracking info is accurate.

I would recommend this forwarding company without hesitation.

I requested few changes to my consolidation order and their support staff was very responsive.

My questions were answered very quickly and all worked well after that.

Easy to use

Their site is to use and navigate.
I was notified by email as soon as my packages arrived at my Viabox suite and I paid shipping fees with Paypal.
My boxes arrived few days later, no hassles no damages.

Stay away! Expensive - with hidden fees!

This is my second experience with Viabox. My first time dealing with them was about a year ago and was more or less fine. This time around however things took a turn to the worse and that's because Viabox has made some significant changes to their shipping partners. The most affordable express shipping option they offer to most of the world now is TNT Express instead of DHL or FedEx (which they still advertise). TNT according to their own estimate should deliver the package within 2 - 6 business days to my country. I ordered a mobile phone and it was delivered to Viabox warehouse on October 3rd. A day later the package appeared in my account and I filled the customs decleration (which Viabox by the way did not respect and changed to their own description without consulting me). I then reluctantly chose TNT Express for shipping because Viabox is charging absurd amounts for DHL or FedEx. I paid $72 for TNT, while DHL or FedEx would've cost $250 or $650 respectively!!! Of course the problems didn't end there - my package was shipped with TNT on October 6th and it took until October 12th to leave the USA! Which is crazy for an express option since there were no holidays. But again the nightmare doesn't end there - while I was fully expecting to pay the customs fees for the package (I paid around $220) - it turns out that TNT charges an extra $95 on top of that just to release the package to me!! Again this is NOT the customs fees required by law or the extra fee some carriers charge if customs perform adhoc examinations - nope, this is just an extra fixed fee by TNT which Viabox fails to tell you about. By the way, similar fees with DHL and FedEx are about $7 - $10. Viabox should've warned me about this hefty extra fee for TNT and they did not. Why did I pay Viabox $72 for shipping if I had to pay another $95 just to get the package delivered?! TNT is also marginally slower in delivering packages than Viabox claims on their website.
Viabox should also stop advertising DHL and FedEx as shipping partners bacuse clearly they're not - no one in their right mind would pay $250 or more to ship a small package.
Viabox's customer support is not helpful besides giving you near robotic answers. They actually told me that if I wanted to fill my own description on the package I should've contacted them at least 48 hours before paying for shipment! Why then do they offer this option in the customer portal if they won't respect what I fill there?! Is the customer supposed to just guess?!
All in all I am very disappointed with Viabox and I will never use them again. I used several other shippers for many years and I can say for sure that there are WAY better options out there with cheaper and transparent shipping fees. Save your money and your energy and take your business somewhere else.

Awesome forwarding company to use when shopping from US vendors. I was able to get some hard to find electric supplies for my business in a short period of time and at reasonable shipping price.
