Viagogo are, in my opinion, acting with reckless disregard of their customers. That is the best case scenario. At worst, it is possible that they are aware of how misleading their services are and how they are duping people and continuing with it anyway. If proved (you can see the likelihood of that by reading the truly awful reviews they have received), I would posit that someone should look into whether they are perpetrators of criminal activity.

I booked a ticket for the 5 Jan Porto vs Boavista game while in Porto on one of the few holidays I get a year. For a couple of days before the day of the game, it was hard to get tickets. I looked again on the day of the game and suddenly tickets were available.

I went on the page and purchased tickets. I ignored the exorbitant handling fees they charge (£12 on a £26 ticket) and proceeded to purchase. ONLY ONCE I HAD PURCHASED THE TICKET, was it made clear that the game had been rescheduled! I cannot make the new day. I have complained but their online responses are automated and spineless, not owning up to the issue and the intentional and dishonest misleading on their page. They were talking nonsense about reselling my ticket, and would no doubt charge another fee on top for me to do so if I chose to do so. I don’t want to go through the rigmarole of selling the ticket and making a loss. I want my money back! I feel defrauded out of my money and, by the looks of the reviews, this cannot continue. What a joke of a company and they will be revealed as the complete jokers they are. I will be recommending to everyone I know to never buy from this company. Bunch of charlatans and thieves.

Minus 10 if it were available. Total scam merchants. Watch out over Christmas. I tried to buy tickets for a match for a birthday gift. Exact same tickets were available on Ticket master for 45 each. I was as charged over 150 so 300 for 2. As soon as I discovered this tried unsuccessfully to get my money back. Complained to Ticket master but discovered they offload a quantity to Viagogo. Complained to IRFU no response. My bank said I had clicked so no way out even though it was within ten mins of the purchase- my partner alerted me. Avoid like the plague.

I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with Viagogo and to caution others against using their services. My encounter with Viagogo has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to express my frustration and dissatisfaction.

In August, I purchased two tickets for the FC Barcelona vs Sevilla FC match at Estadio Olimpic de Montjuic Lluis Companys in Barcelona scheduled for Sunday, October 1, 2023. However, on September 9, I received an email notification stating that the match date had been changed to Friday, September 29. This unexpected change rendered my non-refundable flights for September 30 useless, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss.

In an attempt to salvage the situation, I followed Viagogo's instructions to release the tickets for resale at a lower price. To my dismay, the tickets were sold, and I was assured in writing on September 14, 2023, that I would receive a refund within 8 business days after the event. Fast forward to today, and I have yet to see a penny returned to my account.

What's even more infuriating is that the tickets I initially purchased were not only paid for by me but were also resold and repurchased by another customer who attended the rescheduled game. In essence, Viagogo profited twice from the same set of tickets.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter through emails and phone calls, the customer service has been abysmal, and the promised refund remains elusive. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable.

I strongly advise anyone considering using Viagogo to think twice. The company's disregard for its customers, coupled with their failure to deliver on promises, makes them entirely unreliable and untrustworthy. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss – look for alternative ticket providers with a better track record.

Viagogo has lost my trust and business, and I sincerely hope others heed this warning to avoid the same unpleasant experience.

DUPED!

Got PREMIUM Seats for a concert (Coldplay), only for them to cancel those tickets and then email me to say I can either get a refund or PURCHASE from a new seller. I had clicked (my biggest regret) purchase from a new seller, only to find out to my horror, THE NEW tickets didn't have any row number, seat number, nothing of the premium that I had initially bought. Basically I WAS DUPED into thinking I was going to get my premium tickets. I should have clicked Refund. I have tried for over 3 months to sell these tickets - but who will purchase tickets that have no Row number or Seat number? This site is FRAUD, THEY SELL TICKETS THEY DON'T HAVE

Totally useless company cannot do basics of linking Buys and Sells for the same person. Bought 8 tickets for an event in October 2023 back in June 2023. Circumstances changed so couldn’t attend. Put on sale in July. No success as selling against people who had received theirs and able to offer Instant Download. Total lose £600!!

Ok , so I know they charge over the odds for tickets and there’s a lot of horror stories but this is a ticket resale site and I’d rather use these with a guarantee than a tout, at least if something goes wrong I have some fallback. I was worried as I’d bought them well in advance but customer support always responded quickly when contacted and eased my concerns. I was willing to pay as I got tickets to a completely sold out event, maybe I’m just lucky but I would definitely use them again if need be

Awful company, repeatedly told your tickets have been transferred yet they haven’t!
Despite being told seller had sent tickets to the wrong email address , they re-issue again to wrong email address.

Was sold kids tickets which could be accessed for free. No way of receiving refund. Awful website to deal with.

They are thieves. Sold me tickets to a gig for£150, two hours later I received an email saying the gig had been changed to a date I could not attend. When I contacted customer services I was hung up on.

It's the worst company that exists in the whole world. They sell you second hand tickets of people who re-sell their own tickets back and never send you your own personal real ticket that you suppose to get. This company doesn't deserve even to be rated with one star in the rating scale.

Bought Coldplay ticket at Los Angeles SoFi Stadium but the event was postponed. It has been more than 15 months and I could not get any payment back or alternative date. Really angry with this website; made more than 1.000 USD payment.

Bought tickets for Lana Del Rey concert in Amsterdam and when we got there they said the tickets are invalid and that we got scammed. Really angry with this piece of crap of a website. Never buy from this website.

Ordered tickets for WWE at the o2 in London via viagogo paid 5x over the face value to be told at the venue that my tickets are invalid contacted viagogo and was pasted through to multiple different people who of which some told me the tickets are real and then some told me the tickets are fake and I should get a link to get replacement tickets spent 8 hours of waiting/speaking to different members of the team as they couldn't decide if my tickets were genuine or not even though the row and section on the tickets didn't exist in the o2 as I explained on the seat mapping from the event. Some customer service representative told me to contact the bank to do a refund through there as they couldn't offer a refund or replacement tickets as it's still being investigated internally. I spoke to multiple people in regards to this at viagogo and spoke to them in regards to there granutee and it states that any problems to contact them. They don't want to issue refunds they allow sellers to supply buyers with fake or invalid tickets. Don't use the platform for buying or selling tickets because they don't protect buyers and overcharge sellers with handling and booking fees which means the buyer gets ripped off. I haven't resolved my complaint to this day as no one from viagogo wants to deal with handling a complaint due to the bad customer service and no one seems to know what they are doing. I will have to take this up with the FCA as they shouldn't be allowed to do this.

They are worse than mafia. You buy your tickets from them. Try to refund, no possibility. The only option that you have is to sell in their website, for that you need to provide a purchase. (Ironic, considering that you bought for them) Apperantly you can only list it once the physical ticket comes to your place just before the concert and event and can only be paid 8 days after the event. It is a financial scheme. STAY AWAY.

Purchased tickets- they did not arrive until 6 hours before the game and were half the price than the tickets I ordered on their site. Tried to complain but they don’t care. AVOID!!!

I sold some tickets in early January, we are now in March. I have contacted viagogo a total of 26 times, both email and phone call. The buyer lived overseas and I was advised that they needed to contact the buyer for them to give an updated shipping address. Viagogo sent the buyer an email requesting this 21 times. It is now TWO days before the event, and I am still being told that I need to wait for the buyer to contact. I have asked for it be escalated and have a manager call me and been told this can’t happen. Viagogo are quick enough the send me emails to advise I will be charged for replacement tickets for the buyer as I have not sent the tickets. I asked if I was able to re-list the tickets, and again was told if I was to do this, I would be charged. Now it’s too late for me to list tickets anywhere else so I have just completely lost out on the money that I paid initially for the tickets. If I could give a rating of 0 I would. AVOID THIS COMPANY FOR BOTH BUYING AND SELLING. No customer service skills from any of the workers who just jump on the fact I have not sent the tickets without reading the previous notes and cannot give straight answers.

Thought I was buying tickets through ticket master but when I looked for best available tickets I was redirected to Viagogo...big mistake as I paid £120 sterling for £40 tickets...I tried to resell them but who's going to pay 3 the price for tickets.... feel so foolish for being caught by these gangsters...do not buy tickets from them.

Scammed alot of money for tickets posing to be the main ticket reseller and tickets running out. Paid 12x the value of the tickets and tickets still available through official event organiser. Do not use them

Do not use this company. I bought tickets in august. £250 above face value on the day of release. They took my money on the day but no confirmation email. That was my error as I entered Hotmail Incorrect by - letter.

When I queried this it has taken me 20 calls and 20 emails to resolve. The customer service are like robots. “ computer says no” useless totally incompetent and no common sense
