They sold me tickets for a football…

They sold me tickets for a football match which was to take place on a particular date. Unbeknown to me, the date had changed. They still sold me these tickets and continued to advertise them for sale for that date for many days later. Needless to say, I got no refund. Only an option to sell on to some other fool like me.

An utter disgrace

An utter disgrace, spent 6 months and 20 plus phone calls trying to get access to the tickets I paid for. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. Avoid at all costs.

The WORST PLATFORM EVER.

The WORST PLATFORM EVER.
I bought a ticket to the Coldplay Concert in October 2022, the concert will happen on the 8th of July in Warsow.
In May I updated my address on the Viagogo website, because I've moved to a new address.
On the 29th of June I received an email that my tickets were delivered, for my surprise in my previous address. The one I am no longer living in and after I've updated the address on My Account.
After more than 4 calls to try to resolve this issue, NOBODY was able to help me, on the other hand I was accused of not having updated my address, even though I did at least ONE MONTH in advance of the delivery expectation.
Now, it's less than 48 hours for the event, I haven't received any contact from Viagogo. The agents told me I won't get a refund because they could not see my current address on the system. I am EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with the customer support. If they have any kind of bug in the system, it is not my fault.
I am the one who won't be able to attend a concert, because I haven't received the tickets in the CORRECT address. I am the one who paid for an inefficient service.
if you want to attend the concert you are planning to, STAY AWAY OF VIAGOGO

viagogo is a mess

I bought tickets to a show in Brazil since the site for the Brazilian company would not accept a foreign credit card. I paid twice the price of the tickets on viagogo than what they actually cost, but I accepted that because I wanted to see the show. Did not get the tickets on the day they promised. Called them twice and customer support said they will respond tomorrow. They didn’t. I called again, and they say it is not their problem because they are just a reseller and the original seller never sent the tickets I paid for. I asked a friend to buy me tickets. Five days after the tickets were promised they send me tickets, next to the ones my friend bought - someone bought them 3 days after they were due. So I am stuck with extra (expensive) tickets but only because the show did not sell out.

Agree with everyone else here

Just avoid this company. It’s really not worth the hassle.
I ordered tickets for an event in Italy which was cancelled due to Covid. I relisted them for the following year - also cancelled, after which I was not allowed to relist them them again, so did not.
Come 2022 I expected to receive the tickets, but did not. The month before the concert I received a message out of the blue telling me that I had sold the tickets I was told I could not relist - I also did not have them to sell. So I clicked the ‘I do not have the tickets’ box and explained why and how I believed they were no longer for sale.
The tickets finally arrived very, very late (far, far too late to book travel and accommodation to go) so I lost my money. Viagogo are now telling me there’s also a charge for the lost sale which I was originally told I couldn’t make!
Through all this they have made an art form of finding ways to make it difficult for people to contact them.
Do yourselves a favour - just avoid them

Never in my life have I ever been so…

Never in my life have I ever been so disgusted in a company. I plead with you to avoid using Viagogo in all instances. We bought tickets for an event in London over a month ago, we were very excited for it, we are based in Newcastle and I have been desperate to see the artist for years and as he is based in Canada I never really get the opportunity to. So firstly, we pay over double the price of what the tickets were originally which i was okay with as I was desperate to see them perform. We book our travel and accommodation which costs us around £350 (the two tickets cost £171). So already we have spent a lot of money on the event, the day before the event I get an email offering replacement tickets as our buyer had pulled out, when opening the email there was no tickets, so I ring customer services to be told they are finding me new tickets. I don't receive them. Call again later in the afternoon, told we definitely had tickets and they were getting sent to us. Nothing. The day of the event comes around, I ring in the morning, assured we had tickets for the event and they were getting sent to us. Nothing. 6 hours before the event is meant to happen, we call again, told we have tickets and they see them on the system that they will be sent to us shortly. Nothing. An hour before the event I receive an email saying we have replacement tickets being offered to us in the circle instead of the stalls and that I would receive a voucher of £55 for the difference, we still have no tickets at this point. Ring them AGAIN, we are told we still definitely have tickets and they are being sent to us. We arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the show is meant to start we still have no tickets so we are on the phone with them to be told we have no tickets as they seemed to have given the circle tickets away??? So we had no tickets to the event, we had both travelled 4 hours there and 4 hours home, spent over £520 on the whole experience to be be left outside the venue with nothing. For more context, I am autistic and struggle with anxiety disorders so I was left in tears and extremely emotionally distressed by the entire experience. Please whatever you do avoid this company, they are an utter scam and absolutely disgusting. I've been told I will receive a refund but I highly doubt that and equally it doesn't make up for the financial and emotional burden of the weekend.

Horrible company with a heinously…

Horrible company with a heinously unfair system of charging sellers massive fees if you do not fulfil your order, no matter what the circumstances.

I listed some tickets and was then unable to access my emails for 48 hours due to a techincal issue, during which time the tickets sold. I had no idea this had happened and the first I knew of anything was my bank being debited £85. Viagogo had taken £85 from my bank account, simply for cancelling the transaction and refunding the customer.

When I called to explain that I hadn't been able to access my emails, and to request some kind of compromise at least, they point blank refused to do anything at all. I appreciate they have costs to cover, but £85 is such an unreasonable amount of money, especially in a situation that was out of my control.

I'm really gutted that I listed the tickets with them - never again!

Disgusting and obviously clever mean "company" - but due to their "smart policy" they always find a way to "stay right". And I lost more than 600 Euro and my nerves. The people on the hotline are poor "agents for evil practices". Nobody there cares for your money nor is ethical. And we are the f... clients.

The legal business of public robbery

Sadly there is no zero star to give you.
The most legal robbery in the entertainment industry. You should be taken properly to court by all the people you deceived. Probably we could bring entertainment and honesty to entertainment back.
Pity you are in business.

Unbelievably poor / ripped off

Unbelievably poor. So I genuinely brought 2 tickets for a concert. I paid what the website said, approx £320.00p for the pair. I thought it was steep but thought why not. Anyway, I received an email from Viagogo saying that I could download my tickets. The first thing I noticed was the names were wrong. Then I looked at the ticket cost. It appeared that I had paid 3 times more than the ticket price. I contacted the UK help number to be greeted by an very nice lady. Unfortunately I couldn’t understand her. I got nowhere. I lost count of the times I ask her to repeat herself. Needless to say my frustrations increased. I asked to speak to a supervisor, I asked for a number of a UK based service team. Apparently not only was a supervisor not available, there was no UK based call centre. All I received was an email from her outlying my cost. 3 x more. I ask one question. Is Viagogo any relation to Dick Turpin? To feel ripped off is an understatement. I urge people to not buy from this company. You are lucky to have the option for 1 star. Trust me I wouldn’t have given you 1. Shocking company

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company! DO NOT USE!
Bought some park life tickets then the girl emailed the night before to cancel the tickets. I bought some more from another company and then the next day the tickets came through from Viagogo. I didn’t accept them as they had been cancelled by the seller. Trying to get a refund is impossible from these scammers who say it’s not their policy to give refunds even though our tickets were cancelled.

If there was less than 1 star I'd mark that. This is the second time out of the two times I've tried them they've ripped me off. They're not giving a refund for tickets they didn't have and they cancelled 3 days before the event worth over £500. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Post Malone - 2018

A couple of years ago, when Post Malone released Beerbongs and Bentley's, I bought tickets to his concert through viagogo, I even double checked that they were a legit site to make sure I wasn't getting scammed. I paid over $500, and the tickets ended up being fake. There were no seats on the tickets, we got kicked out of the venue and I never got my money back, despite calling, emailing and trying to get ahold of them to let them know what happened. It's like they didn't even care. Don't ever use Viagogo, use a reputable ticket site like Ticketmaster, or SeatGeek.

Shocking company I agree with most…

Shocking company I agree with most people on here - brought 2 tickets for a Dionne Warrick concert which when I arrived where not available as seats had already been sold. Have gone back through the guarantee system and they have so far confused the order number so far three times. I have paid £300, which upon arriving at the venue found out that they where twice the price could have got paid for at the venue, and am not confident of receiving the money back.

Real Scam

Guys, this is the first time I write a review in my life, and is real. AVOID this company. I sold a ticket, I transferred the ticket to the buyer and viagogo simply canceled the sale saying that I have not fulfilled the terms of the sale. Now the buyer is going to the event with my ticket and viagogo kept the payment...as simple as that. Customer service? forget it...no exist. they just reply with the same automated bull***t.
