Good Morning

We have been trying for months to refund customers who are still awaiting a refund.

Please contact us at refundsvictorverace@gmail.com with a screenshot of your order and proof you have not been refunded. A small explanation is found below:

In August last year we teamed up with 4 manufacturers in China to produce a range of furniture items. As with a lot of furniture suppliers like Dfs we intended to use a made to order business model hence the 8 week lead time.

After placing a few adverts on Facebook orders flooded in and our suppliers assured us they could keep up with the demand.

However come October our suppliers were getting further and further behind which is when we decided to only take orders on very specific ranges.

In the month of October we also refunded over £180,000 in orders as people become impatient and others were becoming worried we were a scam. We willingly handed back the money as we were in fact not a scam but a struggling start up. (something we can of course prove).

As all the furniture items started arriving we used parcel force to fulfill most orders. At this point we was no longer accepting any new orders and was focused solely on fulfilling current orders. It was around this time (early november) that people started to believe we were a scam. Groups started to be set up and fake accounts who were messaging all our customers telling them to issue a chargebacks with the bank.

What pursued after was complete chaos, we had hundreds and hundreds of chargebacks flooding in as we worked from 4am to 9pm (again something we can prove) to send out items.

Then towards the end of November at which point over 40% of all orders had been delivered (again something we can prove) parcel force didn't turn up for our usual collection (7am with 2 7.5 tonne wagons).

I personally got through to the depot and they told me they would no longer be working with us. They explained the parcels where far too large and heavy and stated they were running at a loss due to us using dispatch bay. Even though our items fell within their max size limits. We had over 700 parcels alone that day which were already labelled up and paid for.

A few days later our selling platform Shopify decided to limit our account due to the large number of chargebacks. In doing so they also stopped allowing access to the platform which means we can no longer see customers orders, reply to chargebacks, issue refunds etc.

To this date this is still the situation we're in.

So basically, all the stock had arrived yet we had no information on where to send it. We couldn't refund any orders as we didn't have access and we couldn't send the items as PARCEL Force were no long collection from us.

We've refunded every order we can find, we haven’t taken a penny from the business since October when issues started arising.

We still have no way of telling who's been refunded, who's had their items delivered and we can't even reply to chargebacks. So it's not "us" that's saying your items delivered.

We know there have been thousands of people who have received their items and got their money back due to this.

Anyhow, that was what happened in summary. We weren't and have never been a scam. We simply failed and failed miserably.

We look forward to finally resolving those who are still left in the dark.

Ordered and paid for a chair September 2019. Communication started off well to start but when I had to contact on several occasions asking about delivery etc, all emails from me were ignored. Never received the chair or refund. Absolutely disgusting. They don’t even deserve the one star.

I'm just one of many....

Ordered 4 chairs in October, contacted them and no response. I waited until after Christmas to speak to my bank, I was refunded straight away.
However, the vendor who supplied nothing had the audacity to dispute the charge back saying they had delivered the chairs. I was furious!
I had arranged for delivery to my husbands workplace which is a Post Office...
Thankfully you are unable to order from this appalling scam any longer - sadly many people have fell victim, me included.
There is a company set up called Loose Money Ltd - which seems to ba a whole part of this charade. Check it out.

I am glad the Bank has refunded your order however we did not dispute the chargeback. We haven't had any access to the system since December 2019.

I am extremely sorry for your frustrations and I honestly understand why you feel we were a scam. Please read the reply above for a brief summary of what happened.

Don't purchase from them

Goods were not supplied within the time scales stated. When the 4 chairs arrived they were all damaged. The company have not responded to any method of communication. Reported to trading standards, but the difficultly there was the company weren't responding so proceeding to small claims court wasn't going to be easy. Recorded delivery letter was returned as "addressee gone away". Following advise of others i contacted my bank who were extremely helpful and gave chargeback straight away. Appalled to think people think it is acceptable to treat others this way.

FAKE BUSINESS

FAKE BUSINESS
Paid for an armchair in November, never got delivered and no communication from them
Reported them to our bank and got our money back, so would highly recommend doing that, but would NOT recommend buying anything from this store (not that you can now, because they've shut the website down)

Victor Versace Scam

I ordered in September and was promised delivery in November. Still no chairs mid December after numerous emails and getting fobbed off with fake tracking details!!
I have reported this to the National Fraud Intelligence bureau who are investigating it.

I also reported it to my bank and got a full refund as I had proof of purchase and communication from this company proving that this was a scam.

Ordered same chairs from eBay and they were delivered within 4 days ...in time f Xmas

Just to give hope that u may get some recompense from your bank if you have kept communication and correspondence.

Please don’t order anything from this website. We ordered two leather chairs that never arrived. Their website then said it was updating and nobody ever answers the phones or replies to emails. We have had to involve our bank to get our funds back. I will never order from this site again.

** A Message For All Customers ** We have been trying for months to refund customers who are still awaiting a refund. Please contact us at refundsvictorverace@gmail.com with a screenshot of your order and proof you have not been refunded. We will then arrange for you to be refunded or have your items sent (if we have them). A small explanation is found below: In August last year we teamed up with 4 manufacturers in China to produce a range of furniture items. As with a lot of furniture suppliers like DFS we intended to use a made to order business model hence the 8 week lead time. The idea was the customer orders their products, we manufacturer them and have them sent directly to the customer. We rented a warehouse in Doncaster and set up accounts with Parcel Force to deliver the items. We went through a broker called Despatchbay.com. After placing a few adverts on Facebook orders flooded in and our suppliers assured us they could keep up with the demand. As with any start up we were extremely excited to be off the ground so quickly. However come October our suppliers were getting further and further behind which is when we decided to only take orders on very specific ranges. We noticed that the delivery times were not going to be met which is when we started sending mass emails to customers. In the month of October refunded over £180,000 in orders as people became impatient and others were becoming worried we were a scam. We willingly handed back the money as we were in fact not a scam but a struggling start up. (something we can of course prove). If we had any bad intentions we would not of started heavily refunding customers. As all the furniture items started arriving we used parcel force to fulfill most orders (98%). At this point we was no longer accepting any new orders and was focused solely on fulfilling current orders. We started seeing instagram posts of people with their items, we even had one featured at Grand Designs. It was at this point we thought things were finally turning around. However we was very very wrong... It was around this time (early november) that people started to believe we were a scam. Groups started being set up and fake accounts who were messaging all our customers telling them to issue a chargebacks with the bank. They were purposely trying to sabotage us and to this date we are still unclear why. However they started to make those still waiting second guess our legitimacy. What pursued after was complete chaos, we had hundreds and hundreds of chargebacks flooding in as we worked from 4am to 9pm (again something we can prove) to send out items. We were shipping out on average 400+ parcels a day (We have the thousands of receipts to prove this). Then towards the end of November at which point over 40to 50% of all orders had been delivered and a vast number refunded (again something we can prove). Parcel force didn't turn up for our usual collection (7am with 2 7.5 tonne wagons). I personally got through to the depot and they told me they would no longer be working with us. They explained the parcels were far too large and heavy and stated they were running at a loss due to us using despatch bay. (Even though our items fell within their max size limits) I pleaded and pleaded with them to collect the current orders booked in however they refused. (Feel free to ring Parcel Force as they can't deny this). We had over 700 parcels alone that day which were already labelled up and paid for. The next issue was DPD would only allow us to send parcels up to 2.25CBM which meant we had to manually book in each order with Myhermes. Due to the 700 orders being cancelled and the tracking not working this only helped fuel people's concerns. Which resulted in more bad feedback and more chargebacks. A few days later our selling platform Shopify decided to limit our account due to the large number of chargebacks. In doing so they also stopped allowing access to the platform which means we can no longer see customers orders, reply to chargebacks, issue refunds etc. I begged them to at least allow myself access to see customers orders. I explained without this it's impossible to send and fulfil any outstanding orders. At this stage all the stock had arrived, we had a warehouse bursting at the seams with stock but was unable to send any of it. I sent 6 further emails begging Shopify for the information to no avail. To this date this is still the situation we're in. We've refunded every order we can find, we haven’t taken a penny from the business since October when issues started arising. We still have no way of telling who's been refunded, who's had their items delivered and we can't even reply to chargebacks. We know there have been thousands of people who have received their items and got their money back due to this. It was being encouraged massively on social media to open chargebacks and we noticed the comments of many people say they'd managed to get a refund and keep their items. I can completely understand how this looks like a scam. Believe me I am beyond frustrated how things turned out. However all I can do as this stage is try to find those who have not received their items or been refunded. So please, if you have not received a refund or your items then let me know. I can only beg you not to claim a refund if you have already received one. Kind Regards Victor Verace

I had a strange experience as I ordered…

I had a strange experience as I ordered 3 pieces of furniture and I actually received 2 of them and they're very good! I got the first 2 pieces after 3 months, delivery was really poor, very little communication around it. I then chased up the 3rd piece of my order, got a few replies saying there had been a delay, would be dispatched soon, etc, then nothing for at all for 6 weeks so claimed a refund through my bank.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Ordered a chair very beginning of November for my new flat. No sign of the chair over 3 months on or even an attempt to reply to my numerous emails. Not even a phone number to call!! Have noticed they have now stopped taking new orders. Steer clear

Order still not received - AVOID

I placed an order for a chair in October - in November received an email confirming it had been made and was going through quality control in time for delivery in December. Then communication went cold. I emailed several times, tried to contact via the website - there was no number available. Now it’s February - I still haven’t received the chair. I have contacted my bank to pursue a refund. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had.

Do not order

Do not order from this ‘company’. I ordered dining chairs early November for 6-8 weeks delivery, 10 weeks later no chairs and Victor Verace didn’t answer any of my emails. I’ve had to claim the money back from my credit card.

Scam company

Ordered a bed in September, never received, no response to my request for a refund. In the end I claimed my money back through my credit card provider. Scam company 100%.

Update 24/02/2020 - just received a call from my credit card provider. This company is now trying to say it shipped my order despite stating on Facebook that they cannot access their shop to send orders/refund people. Poor excuse of a company.

Don't order from Victor Verace

Unfortunately this seems to be either a scam or at the very least a massively inept company. I ordered a chair in August, due to arrive September. After several delays and quite a few emails, I finally got a tracking number, which didn't work and the chair never arrived. They have now stopped replying to any of my emails requesting a refund.
