I bought a Virgin sim in Dubai and paid 200 dirham and it does not work. I bought the 10 day plan with free calls and messages and unlimited data. I can not send messages or make calls and am still using wifi as nothing works. A complete waste of money

The worst service ever, don’t try specially the home internet….it is a scam more than service, they told me i have 1 week to try the internet it was perfect in that week, exactly after 1 week i have to restart the router daily 7-10 times as the internet stops suddenly, customer care are doing nothing but raising tickets, i asked them to cancel my service as i have it for only 17 days and i m not satisfied, the response was you can terminate but no refund as per the T&C’s.

I have been with virgin mobile for 4 years now, each year they gave me 3 gb extra. This time they changed and said it’s only for new customers. So old customers get nothing 🤔The agents on chat don’t know half the things, when I sent them screen shots of the website then only they would agree.

I bought a 1-day roaming bundle while abroad. The bundle did not work. I immediately contacted Virgin support and followed the troubleshooting steps, but to no avail; they opened a ticket. Virgin resolved the issue only on the next day, after the 1-day bundle had effectively expired, so I could not use the service I paid for. They refused to reimburse the bundle.

Do not trust this company. They are the worst company in terms of transparency and honesty in UAE. I bought a router and sim for them as I needed urgent internet for work. I paid around 800-900AED. They promised me 5g with high speed and guaranteed refund if any issues immediately. Instead when I got home the internet did not work. Speed was 2mbps. I called them. Made “tickets”. They said turn it off and on 😂😂. Take sim out and put back in. They they sent me on a mary goose chase. Following that they asked me to email them with proof. I did it and they said they will reply in 24 hours. I emailed them on the 6th of Feb and my response was sent back to me on 11TH!!!! Saying they are investigating. I then asked for a refund and for the last 3 days I’ve been asking when can I have a refund and they keep saying in 48 hours we will let you know when. There is an open ticket. There is no honesty. No transparency. No service. It’s just lies and lies and lies. I 100% would recommend using somebody else. Also if you chat to them on the app they take 1-3 hours to reply but if they reply and you don’t see it in 5 minutes they close the ticket. Meaning you have to wait again. DO NOT USE THEM!!! In UAE where every company provides amazing service these guys just lie and lie and lie and lie. Unacceptable.

I would like to formally report an issue with my delivery today. At around 11:40 PM, the delivery driver contacted me and asked for an additional 100 AED as “emergency delivery charges” to deliver the order immediately, Sharjah seyouh otherwise he said it would be delivered in the morning.because it’s too far from city
I am taking 1 year package and was Expecting delivery within 60 minutes. This extra charge was not mentioned anywhere in the app or in my plan details. When I declined to pay, the driver pressured me to cancel the delivery, which was very uncomfortable and unprofessional.

I obtained a new SIM card on 12 January, and on 18 January, the number unexpectedly stopped functioning. I have contacted customer service on multiple occasions; however, no clear justification has been provided, nor does anyone seem to understand the reason behind the service disruption.
This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have encountered with a telecommunications provider. I have invested significant time, money, and effort in seeking a resolution, yet the representatives I have spoken to have shown little initiative or concern in addressing the matter.
For anyone considering this provider, I strongly advise caution. The experience has been deeply unsatisfactory and has undermined the trust and reliability one would expect from an established service provider.

I would like to highlight that relying only on automated or electronic responses is not suitable for customers with urgent inquiries.
I kindly request providing a customer service phone number for direct communication regarding inquiries and complaints, as this would make access easier and faster.
In many cases, automated replies do not address the customer’s actual needs, as they respond in a pre-programmed manner without fully understanding the issue, which results in wasted time instead of effective resolution.

I have multiple SIM card of virgin mobile but they are zero in customer service, No support, they didn't hear your problem. I had a very bad experience when my roaming data and phone was not working I faced challenge raised to them but they refunded few aed only..pathetic customer service.
I want to confirm that untill I reach to TRDA they don't even address my issue.
Later, when TRDA intervene they refunded partial few aed and then closed the case.
I had suffered a lot due to non working network, almost stuck on unknown location with family.
They are not trust fool at all.
Please don't trust Thier roaming package for sure.

Unplug your router
Try your sim card on your phone
Take a photo of your router
Send the photo to our technical team
Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla and your problem remain unsolved.

Their home internet is super frustrating!
I thought by switching from du I could save a few bucks and would have to deal with slower internet speed, which is a fair trade off.
I was not prepared for the endless router disconnections, which entailed me having to go and reset it each time, which mostly occurred Mon to Fri between 10am and 4pm, meaning work from home was a painful experience. Ending up in me having to use my mobile data and ultimately purchasing additional data bundles due to this.
If you can afford du or Etisalat go that route, save yourself the pain and frustration. I certainly will be switching back.

Absolute scum of the earth.
I paid several hundred AED trying to get roaming to work and it never did.
I asked for a refund and they refused because I didn't contact support for help.
Usually you pay money and receive a service - you don't pay and then have to contact the service provider to get it to work.
I have never had this bad of an experience with any carrier so I strongly suggest you go with anyone else.

This has been one of the worst service experiences I have had with Virgin, particularly at the Dubai Mall branch. The staff were extremely unhelpful, especially a staff member named Santosh. When I purchased a new Virgin number, he created an email address and password on my behalf. As a result, I am unable to access my Virgin app because the access password is sent to that same email address, which I do not have access to.
I attempted to contact him to resolve the issue, but without success. This situation has been especially frustrating as I had an urgent call to make while being outside Dubai.
I then contacted customer care via the web chat, which unfortunately was equally disappointing. The chat agents kept changing, requiring me to repeatedly explain my issue from the beginning.
Overall, I do not recommend Virgin, whether in terms of their policies, terms and conditions, or the quality of their customer service.
