First Vision Services experience - very good
The Oakley Socket frames are very comfortable and look great. I would have preferred an option to have a wider area of focus for the script at the bottom of the (progressive) lens. My last pair had what was called 'Super Digital' or similar, which meant when reading through the lower lens I didn't need to move my head side to side as much. Otherwise all good.

Poor quality and customer service
If I could rate no stars I would.
I spent $350 on prescription Rayban sunglasses, due to the cost of living I could not afford to go to the usual OPSM, what a mistake that was!!!!
I would not recommend this site. There responses remind me too much of SCAM websites.
The lenses clearly not installed properly, the frame would creak on wearing them and after about 6 months I was bringing the shopping in with them in hand and dropped them about 20cms onto a bench top and 1 of the lenses fell out. I tried to install it but clearly the lens is too big for the frame. The other lens came out too easy. I tried to put the original raybans lenses that came with it also and they don’t fit either, online reviews of this model say they should simply click in with a small amount of pressure. I’m not sure if they are even the right size for the frame.
I emailed the company as all I want is for them to put the lenses back in so they can be worn.
Vision direct did a whole song and dance about how frustrating it must be for me but nothing they can do about it as a 20m “impact” doesn’t fall within the scope of the warranty.
Clearly they want to sell you poorly made products but don’t want to help when there is an issue and suggest that you go seek help from an actual optical shop. So go and pay more money to have someone else fix their issue.

Regarding the difficulty reinstalling the lenses, plastic frames often require specific techniques and tools when fitting lenses. Even a small amount of distortion to the frame after an impact can make lens installation difficult.
I'd recommend taking the frame and lenses to a local optical shop for assessment. Their technicians have the equipment and expertise to inspect the frame, determine whether it has been distorted by the impact, and safely reinstall the lenses if the frame remains suitable for use.

Everything's fine (almost) until…
Everything's fine (almost) until you want to return the glasses you ordered. The shipping cost is already high, but the return costs are exorbitant – I had to pay 40% of the order's value for shipping both ways! It's a rip-off. I strongly advise against buying from this store.

Cute glasses & Amazing quality
Glasses are really cute, and came within 2 weeks from ordering!
Frames and lens are an amazing quality. No issues or damage.
The try on feature is really helpful however as expected not 100% accurate. These glasses were recommended for asian nose bridge however in real life they do sit quite low on nose bridge. Not a big deal.

Big hassle
Big hassle. Ordered glasses with the wrong lense. Went through the return process and they submitted a replacement order for the corrected lenses at the same price. The replacement was pending the return before it was sent to me.
I sent the original back and paid for shipping. Once they received the return back, they cancelled the replacement order that was pending, and then put up the price $88 and said I had to pay it to get the replacement because the correct lenses were more expensive - they did not say this previously.
After I complained, they applied a discount of 10% to bring the extra amount down to $56. I appreciate the effort to fix things, but this should have been disclosed earlier so I could have bought the glasses elsewhere and just gotten the refund instead of wasting my time.

While the replacement order was for the same frame, the updated request involved changing the lenses from Single Vision Reading lenses to Progressive lenses. Progressive lenses are considerably more expensive due to their multi-functional design and more complex manufacturing process.
I know your concern regarding the timing of the pricing clarification. We could have communicated the additional cost more clearly and earlier in the process to help you make a fully informed decision before proceeding with the exchange.
I reviewed the previous communication and can see that there was mention of a price difference during the initial exchange request, but I know this may not have been clear enough, which led to the confusion and disappointment.
